Snails pace this comic’s pacing is. Can dc just boot Bendis off like they did with King? This story is going nowhere. And teen Jon is continues to be a terrible idea that’s being executed terribly. Years of torture and isolation have had zero impact on him. It’s just stupid and boring.

Nah, it was a good premise. Upper crust white collar criminal society in Gotham makes perfect sense and fits well into the existing lore. Well executed little plotline. The Thomas Wayne Junior stuff by contrast just didn't feel like there was any reason to care.

I should probably say, I don't hate Snyder like some around here. I love his enthusiasm and sincerely think he's replaced to some measure Stan Lee (and kev smith, who isn't dead but you'll see where in going with this...) as the face of the American comics industry. He'll never be as big as Stan (or maybe even Kev but probably in some circles is already "equal") but he is the dude shouldering the culture. Smith has moved into a more general nerd culture type of figure but scott posts a store from almost every city he visits. Signs comics for those stores, leaves comics for fans at hotels, the dude just really puts on for the medium. And I like some of his stories, particularly the recent JL arc.

But his Batman work is terrible.

It's like you lot are actively looking for a reason to be upset, especially after having read runs like JMS and Lobdell.
