I've read most of her comics. She's not a saint who's always double-crossing the people that hire her, otherwise nobody would ever hire her for a job. She has a handler for that. I think if it were maybe a one shot, but as a maxi it’ll suck, King has a bad habit of decompressing (I.e. his Batman Run, Mister Miracle, Heroes in Crisis) and all those books suffer because of it. Now his 1 shots on the other hand tend to be great as he’s forced to tell a complete story in a short amount of time

m King does suck. Am I the only one who thinks he's trying so hard to be Alan Moore, it's pathetic? I mean, it's so obvious to me. And all he does is emulate Moore's style but without any of the substance. Vision is probably his best work, Sheriff of Babylon started good and seemed like it would offer him an opportunity to draw on his experience at the CIA but it went nowhere, and Mister Miracle is basically random shit stitched together. As a writer, Tom King is a fraud. His only talent is in giving the illusion that his stories have depth but they have none, it's just style, and not even his own.

om king’s obsession with Batcat made me hate both Batman and Catwoman. In his writing, Batman can’t be happy without Catwoman, which is very OOC in my opinion. We saw him happy with his family or other heroes in many stories, but it was completely ignored in is writing.

Bruce is already happy and he is Batman because he chooses to be not because he is sad and has to. Happiness won't make him abandon his quest to help others. That's not batman regardless of what King tries to write Canon and bat history doesn't support his version of who batman is and that's why some fans dislike it.

I guess this should wake up the deluded BatCats still clinging to their savior Tom King to canonize their fanfiction.

King's sales keep going down further and further, so I don't see what's the point of giving him more power and freedom to ruin things even further. The shitshow that Heroes in Crisis was should've been enough to completely derail any other writer's career, and yet all that DC has done so far is to simply cut back on the advertisement and distance themselves from fan outrage. And yet they seem so intent on backing King up till the bitter end. It's as if they placed all their eggs in one basket and are now stubbornly refusing to back down after it's become clear they've made the wrong decision.
