Was it kino?

Oh good, no. It was pretty terrible.
The lex/Clark relationship was very good, Chloe was good in the first season, pa Kent and lionel are amazing, Lois's chest is amazing. Pretty much everything else is terrible.

I like the first few seasons but the rest was pretty bad.
The theme song is still GOAT though.

Yeah.

First few seasons were good for what it was, a teenage coming of age story for supes. Than shit got way to drama but it found its way back with seasons 8 9 10. I think this show gets an unfair rap

How many of its protagonists are part of the NXVIM sex cult? Is Tom Welling involved too?

I'd take it over current CW garbage.

>it found its way back with seasons 8 9 10. I think this show gets an unfair rap

>tfw dropped at season 8

It was fun in a cheesy way, but it also had some legitimately great moments.

Also I refuse to watch CW shit because of how they just completely dropped this universe after building it for a decade.

I watched it as a kid and I really enjoyed it back then also that opening song was a FUCKING BANGER

I like the theme song but I’ve never watched the show.

So this kid randomly shows up with superspeed you think "Cool, flash." But Smallville couldn't afford flash so he's actually Impulse, Bart Allen.

>But Smallville couldn't afford flash so he's actually Impulse, Bart Allen.
Is this one of those retarded mandates back then where characters were barred from interacting with one another?

>back then
DC still has tons of embargoes like that. CW will never have Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, etc.

Why is this still a thing? What reason?

Cheapen the brands with Wondy and Bats.

GL is probably just too much of a hassle for television.

>GL is probably just too much of a hassle for television
But Flash, Superman, Grodd and King Shark aren't a hassle for TV?

I don't get it either, user. How would a few simple objects with translucent green texture be harder to animate than a highly detailed, fully rigged, giant sharkman

>Flash, Superman
Easily done even on a string budget.

>Grodd, King Shark
What are they if not CGI messes?

Green Latern requires at the very least particle rendering beyond CW's budget.

Hal Jordan was all set to be part of Arrowverse and had a bunch of small mentions and easter eggs leading up to it. In flashbacks he was actually going to be the one who taught Oliver Queen how to fly. Then DC did an asspull and the whole thing went nowhere. It's why season 4 started with Oliver in Coast City, but then they had to throw him back onto Lian Yu. This is all we get to see of Hal.

>tfw by the time WB nuts up and decides to let him be used, Ollie will be dead and we never get this.

Fuck yeah, it was. From a cinematography point of view, it was literally better than 99% of the shows nowadays. I never bothered to look it up but the camera, sound, and editing teams behind some episodes and tons of scenes were god-tier.
>Jonathan's funeral
>Clark gearing up in the locker room for the Mxy showdown
>the entire Heat episode
>Clark and Lionel's prison showdown in the episode where they switch bodies
>Lionel's funeral
>Bart's and Clark's last scene in Run (fuck all the homo-posters)
>First flight
>every ending scene with Lex, especially where he's in Belle Reeve
>every scene with Clois, especially the one where Martha catches them together in the bathroom
Suck my fucking dick if you think those aren't outright kino

I guess I was right to not give a shit about Arrow all these years despite being a big Ollie fan.

I liked the ost tho

it was comfy, on its worst day still better than arrow

I find it fascinating that this is neither a comic or a cartoon.
