It marked the end of Miller writing anything that wasn't Mickey Spillane on steroids. And aside form the god tier art in all of them not a single one was as good as the first book. Yellow Bastard is super overrated.

1. It's so extremely heavily stylized that it becomes an acquired taste by nature and it's just not for everyone.
2. The second movie was so bad that it hurt the series' reputation.

You're using the phrase "IP farm" incorrectly. An internet forum can't be "an IP farm" because it's not owned by the company that owns the IPs. Marvel Comics is "an IP farm" because Disney gets to keep anything that it "grows" and use it elsewhere where it can actually make them money.
