Other then The Loud House and RQBY...

Other then The Loud House and RQBY, has there been any other Yea Forums show that has since been banned to /trash/ due to their terrible fandom?

>RWBY
whoops

Too late OP, I'm part of the main cast now. Don't worry, you won't even be able to tell the difference.

I have some concerns.

the demon hotel show
I don't know if that one counts for real since its not out yet

MLP. Hazbin Hotel. Zootopia. Although, this is really more because mods fucking HATE furries and the latter tends to attract a shit ton of them. Sometimes Looney Tunes threads get deleted if there's too much Lola in it.

I assume Hazbin is for all the THIS SHOW SUCKS AND VIV CAN SUCK A FAT ONE angry bullshit one expects from Yea Forums, right?

Usually it's more generals that get banned or transition to /trash/ and not actual shows. Usually by moving over they can post porn and whatever the hell they want, but you can bring up Rwby or Loud House here even if people will shit on you
The only Yea Forums thing I know that actually got banned was Homestuck. You will also have trouble keeping up even normal threads about stuff like Zootopia, Gumball and Tiny Toons because of furfaggotry but they aren't entirely blanket-banned

wasn't star vs forced to trash for some period

I assume its because a general for a non-airing (in its case 'yet to be aired') show

what caused the blanket ban on Homestuck?

Oh yeah and technically Stonetoss and similar politics comics will get removed because of how they are used more for politics then actual comic discussion. And horse show obviously though it got a whole board.
I'm pretty sure it was because of how large and toxic the fandom was at its peak. It's slowly been allowed here again recently in increments

the homestuck fandom was so terrible it got banned FROM /trash/
i'm proud of us

This.
Threads about shows with a more "Unique" fandom are more likely to get deleted, but there isn't any ban against that specific show.

But if generals are allowed to fester too long, then every thread about a specific thing becomes a general, so the thing itself is effectively banned...

I've had SCI threads deleted.

How the fuck do you get banned from the board that normalizes deviant-art tier fetishes? FUCKING HOW?

not really sure desu, we weren't doing anything worse than some of the other threads on there, but i guess some janny had an axe to grind
in a way i'm perversely proud of being the absolute lowest form of life on Yea Forums, to the point that not even the furry porn board wants anything to do with me

Every web comic that isn't Questionable Content, apparently.
I guess McHandstab became a tranny janny.

>toxic

how else would you describe it?

You may be laughing now, but in a mere 15 episodes, your shitty show will be nothing but a distant memory. Have fun while it lasts.

It hasn't been banned yet, but I'm pretty sure that Mao Mao will get the /trash/pill soon enough.

not enough

If it does it'll be when his sisters get revealed
Straight lewding of one male won't get the show kicked out, but when you get female cat lewding that's when many people join in and it gets nuts

Think again, just got nuked.

Generals for Star Vs. and Steven Universe have been restricted to /trash/ in the past at times when the shows were no longer airing new episodes, but in the mod posts that did, it was still mentioned that discussion threads etc. about those shows were still allowed as long as they weren't in the "general" format.

So it wasn't a complete ban, and really it wasn't for the fandom either so much as with no new content it could feel like anons were making threads just to have them and not for any real purpose.

We Bare Bears got sent there during a hiatus and by the time new episodes started airing again everyone had either stop caring about the show or had gone full /trash/. It kind of happened with Gumball too and would have happened to Steven Universe by now if people didn't love/hate it so much.

Is that why that user stopped posting PFM? Although it's more likely that he stopped do that others can read it on the actual website.

To be fair they literally wrote in the OP how they found Mao Mao hot. It had no chance.
When regular threads about new episodes start getting nuked then I'd start considering it banished to /trash/

Generation 5 will start at almost the same time G4 will end.
Also, HASBRO will reboot it every 5 years.

Was Frozen general banished or did that die naturally?

>toxic

Fuck off

what's the point of having board for low quality threads moved from other boards when you still have to moderate it?

MLP

OH WAIT let's cater to ponyfags and give them their own containment board

The monkey's paw being that it's safe for work only.

Banished after thread #1000.

By not typing like a SJW tranny.

>whoops

Don't take that as a typo, user. Consider that DB as a tell-tale sign that she won't live much longer in the series.

Same with Mickey Mouse - as soon as drawfags get involved. Chinese animation threads also get booted a lot because of furry and Yea Forums, as well as shitty discussion in general.

Basically, mods see this as a cape board and will destroy any cartoon that’s popular enough to compete for space. They attack on topic cartoon threads but spare endless live action shows that happen to have a cape. It’s a de facto board split they won’t complete for some reason. I’m guessing their afraid a toon without capes board would go full furry/loli in a heartbeat.

RWBY didn't get banned because their fanbase was bad, it got banned because it was a general.

The Loud House fandom moved to /trash/ itself. Common mistake, don't worry, it's not something a casual would know.

>got sent there during a hiatus
This is the reason. Generals are tolerated if there is new content to discuss and they function like talkback threads. If the generals persist between episodes/updates/etc. they will be removed.

SU got moved there for the offseason

It was kind of a mix really. It started getting pushed to /trash/ once porn and lewds became prevalent and once people began spamming and being retards. Then they decided to just stay there where they could have a general and post porn at once. As was expected, discussion died fairly early and now shitposting reigns supreme forevermore.

Sinfest has an unofficial ban. I found out once on accident because I tried to make a post about the author. I wanted to find out if anything is actually known about the guy or if he is just a modern, strip-a-day Jack Chick.

Too much politics. Too much stupid identity politics. Too easy to hijack into a /pol/ topic.

>Every webcomic
I think it's because of the nature of Google's New Internet. It's about engagement, so you have to post as much as you can as often as you can without regard for quality. As a consequence, there's very little new media at all that's worth talking about. No exciting developments, no long-running plans. People just bitch about the authors or about the ideals the authors express in their works.
