I don't want no damn vegetables

Maude. That's why Homer killed her after that episode in revenge.

>directed by Mark Kirkland
Yep.

Homer.

Maude, for thinking a low cut dress was an appropriate thing for a married christian woman to wear.

I don't think the Flanderses as hardcore Christfags had really been established yet in Season 2.

Fuck, he wouldn't do that for us.

He doesn't seem to realise that it is a direct quote from the show itself..

That's because Yea Forums would ask him to draw Lisa naked.

Based Todd. I do this sort of thing to my own mom sometimes.

How we would he? How we know it was him. He probably would annihilated by Sneedposter and shitposts before he can prove his legitimacy

i bet there wasn't even an episode numbered 2F09.

Homer The Great?

i too am mommypilled

Homer was inconsiderate to get that trashed at a formal dinner party (especially one he was hosting), and obviously it's rude to stare.

But as far as Maude is concerned, who the fuck wears something that revealing? That neckline is like halfway down the tit, that's the kind of thing you wear clubbing, not for cocktail weenies at the neighbors place.

This is regarded by most people as a weak episode by the standards of season two. I, however, disagree. It's a strong episode that holds its own and has some absolutely hilarious moments. Everyone, again, is in character and there are no wacky or stupid moments for the sake of it, although I can understand how people cringe at the winking catfish at the end. Nevertheless, a great episode.

This is my least favorite episode of the season. I don't hate the main plot, but I don't like it because it got too serious. Also, other than Grampa's victory, I don't like the subplot, mostly because I find it extremely OOC for Lisa to join Bart in tricking Grampa.

Maude

i mean, that was an insane dress to wear, especially for HER. it will always be her fault and her karma was dying from t shirt canons.

This was foreshadowing for this

It's a John Swartzwelder episode and one thing I notice about his is that he seemed to like writing Lisa more like her Ullman short self. See in Bart Carny where she proposes torching the house to get rid of Cooder and Spud.

I'd rather Lisa act like a kid than a pint-sized campus activist, but at the same time I'd hate if she stayed like she did in the Ullman shorts. They moved away from that characterization of her for a reason.

This board for not giving Maude Flanders the recognition she deserves. She’s a damn MILF and worth 1000x the amount of art that Marge gets.

freaks
go back to- oh wait we're in Yea Forums

I still don't get why this made reddit etc. shit on him. He's a fucking director; like sorry he didn't memorize the script to an episode he wouldn't have even had any part in writing, and would rather talk about the work he's done than participate in an endless Simpsons quote circlejerk.

Homer in bed with the sandwich was the first time they used that gag in the show. It's not a perfect episode by any means especially given the flimsiness of the whole marriage crisis plot (Marge is ready to kill Homer merely for getting smashed at a party?), Reverend Lovejoy sounds kinda weird (ok it was early and Harry maybe hadn't gotten the voice down pat yet) and I know the other couple besides the Simpsons and Flanders at the resort is a parody of something, but I found it to be stupid.

Yeah it's like Homer's Night Out where Marge way way overreacts to something stupid Homer did.

Also since when is Homer a fisherman, let alone a master one?

Trips of truth.

Now, let's use this thread to discuss what absolute lows that The Simpsons would go in order to bring Maude back to life.

Lots of very funny moments (I love the Queen of the Harpies couple) but I really don't buy the resolution. I honestly don't see how Marge would be convinced by Homer dumping the fish back. And it does feel a bit cheesy in that respect ("You're telling me our marriage is in trouble?" sounds so corny).

the entire cast gets killed off and the remaining seasons take place in heaven

when the plot calls for it, duh
just like every other time

>crudely produced cartoons
Ok, but what about Itchy and Scratchy?

the make it one of those flash sideways type episodes ala Lost. They go back in time, maude lives but for some reason, ned divorces her and marries edna or some shit.

Alterntively, they could have kenny'd maude - ie, bring her back, no explanation - and i wouldn't be shocked.

Golly, no wonder Ned uses corn starch so much.

Great work on the animation in as well. You can really tell he was in his element here.

that's pretty devilish of you user

she's worth ten times what she earns!

greentext please

Because it's one of the more well known exchanges in the show.

So what, he's like legally obligated to pointlessly reenact the rest of it in text form even though he had nothing to do with that exchange? Fuck that.

It would certainly be more endearing you joyless faggot.

because this is her only fanservice scene

Damn shame.

Peggy

Maude knew what Homer really wanted and was happy to give him it.

costanza

How many times did they bring her back?

Manjula is severely underrated. Same with Muslim mom from that one episode

still canon. which means seriously fucked up implications for the residents of springfield

Neither and both.

Looking and thinking isn't hurting them. It literally throughout our lives. Looking with lust might be rude and ill mannered, but it does nothing other than that. Thought is merely thought.

If you dress unattractively as a man or woman, you are unlikely to receive unwanted attention. Was Maude wrong to dress this way? That was a choice she had the right to make. If she dressed like a clown and was laughed at, should she get mad at someone laughing? And here's the kicker, people might laugh and mock you if you dress normal. They also might look lustfully at you if you dressed in a sack.

Both Homer and Maude's behavior is ill mannered, but not hurtful. And unless you can call being ill mannered wrong, which opens up an enormous can of worms when it comes to behavior of both men and women and where you set your standards, neither did anything wrong here. Neither was just very thoughtful.

what's it like having an actual oedipus complex, and living the life all these fakes wish they had?
but honestly, though, what's it like in a self-awareness level?

I think she's really cute and I'm a complete degenerate, but there's no way I'd start anything with her. I don't want to ruin the relationship I have with her. She's single and sometimes I have dreams of taking her out. I'll just have to settle with jerking off to the sounds of her taking a shower and the fantasies I have of her tits.

How do people find Marge attractive? I don't know what it is.

my mom caught me getting a boner and banned this episode in the house when i was a little child.

My mom has looked like a gross string bean mummy skeleton Yzma my whole life, I don't know if I envy anons who grew up with hot moms or not.

Is she, though? Because you say you're fucked in the head, so maybe she's an uggo, and you just think she's fuckable because you're fucked in the head.

Smoking will do that to you.

Yeah. I remember when I was in high school her going through a carton a day. I'm honestly surprised she hasn't croaked yet.

Great way to look 60 when you're 35.

Chuck, for selling his brothel.

Not with the way they drew her hips there. That's fucking terrible.

Homer. If he hadn't been drunk he would've just caught a peek without being too obviously leery about it

"Homer, my face is up here."

"I've made my choice."

Lewd

It looks like what happens in olden days when women wore corsets all the time.

I think they were trying just a little too hard to emulate Family Guy here.

Marge looks way too fucking good for a mid-30s woman who's shit out three kids.

This; Ned Flanders' original concept was that he was slightly but noticeably superior to Homer in every way, and that included having a prettier wife with bigger tits.

>Marge is ready to kill Homer merely for getting smashed at a party?
I think the party was just supposed to represent a particularly bad event in an ongoing pattern.

This early in the series the Simpsons are still supposed to be below-average losers, so appealing to the "wife gets fed up, murders husband" bit made enough sense.

My mother is extremely self conscious and judges herself harshly by unrealistic standards. It can be hard sometimes. She has a Ruebenesque figure but calls herself fat. I wouldn't fuck my own mother but I do like Mommy Domme/MDLB. Good Boy is basically my trigger phrase.

how big were her tits?

Eh, I'd say so. She has a mole on her cheek and slight bags under her eyes, but looks fine otherwise.
According to her bra size, 36C. I'd wager it's a decent handful, I can only imagine what they feel like.

Pics or bullshit

Don't be a fag, just take her out for lunch every few days and insist on paying.
Then jack off in your bedroom while the door's cracked open a bit.

>mom usually wears a loose bathrobe around the house
Same thing with my friend's mom. She usually just wears rather revealing clothing or just a bathrobe in the mornings. She is single (divorced), and still in like her mid 40s. While her breasts are fairly small (around a B/C cup I would guess), her ass and hips are really nice. She also goes to the gym a lot and one time I saw her wearing tight ass yoga pants with the top of her brightly colored thong visible out of the top. Her ass looked like two basketballs stuffed inside Lululemons. The fact I also saw her adjust her pants and watched her ass jiggle around as she walked out the door really stuck in my head for weeks.

Should I hit it? Where do I even begin? I can't like take her out to dinner, I don't think my friend would like the idea of me taking his mom on a dinner date. I've never really even got involved with girls older than me, let alone like twenty.

People have been watching classic Simpsons for years. They love that show and even casual Simpsons viewers could sound off dozens and dozens and dozens of bits off the top of their head. People aren't even fans usually know several of them. It doesn't look good when less than obscure stuff like that completely flies over his head. It's telling.
