Firestorm exists

Green Arrow is worse

Green Arrow has Deathstroke.

superman's rouge's gallery is fine.
firestorm at least gave us killer frost and multiplex

Iron Man

The thing I noticed is that most of Firestorm’s aren’t bad per say, they’re just horribly mismatched against someone with Firestorm’s power and would probably be better off fighting a street level hero.
Slipknot is some bullshit though.

i thought he was a teen titans villain

HE'S THE MAN WHO CAN CLIMB ANYTHING

Slipknot is fine, it's just as you said, he's horribly mismatched for someone of Firestorm's power. Stick him in a good costume and he's no worse than any other gimmicky assassin.

If you're counting the show I regret to inform you that 80% of those villauns are Batman villains

Deathstroke is a Titans/everybody-if-the-money-is-right villain

Superman has Rolgar Zarr 2018's hottest new character and biggest baddest villain of all time, Did you know he destroyed Krypton just because he could?

Literally who tier

>saying that when Flash, Green Lantern, Iron Man, and Wonder Woman exist

I recognized Blizzard, Crimson Dynamo, Whirlwind and Titanium Man.

Lex Luthor alone makes this untrue, but Bizarro is also pretty memorable.

Don't forget Brainiac

Flash has good villains though.

Outside of fighting other lantern corps, what memorable villains does GL have?

>be Galina Nemirovsky
>join Russia military and apply for Federal Dynamo Program
>become highly trained pilot for powered armor on your own merits, succeeding against cultural sexism of Russia
>government replaces you with middle-aged former pilot with a propensity for aiding foes of Russia and who already has a suit of powered armor
>join up with super criminals to strike at capitalist American thug Iron Man
>they give you a suit of armor with giant metal tits and long robot hair
JUST

Wonder Woman actually has some decent villains.
The real problem is that DC wants you to remind you that Diana is connected to Greek mythology and never use her rogues gallery.

Ant-Man is basically the Firestorm of Marvel in terms of rogues gallery.
When you have to steal from Iron Man for your movie sequel, you know your villains fucking suck.

Is it bad that the majority of villains that I know from Marvel is from Spider-man's gallery?

Not really. DC has the better villains while marvel has the better Heroes

Hector Hammond? Vandal Savage? Solomon Grundy started as GL villain

Many years agos (before the MCU) I really only knew Spider-Man, Wolverine, The Hulk and sometimes Iron Man as Marvel's heroes while everyone else (including Thor and Captain America) were B/C-tier.

Because the best Superman stories are out of continuity minis or origin stories, both of which doesn't give much to his rogues. He has to yet have a definitive run past the silver age. Runs are the ones where villains are utilised the most.

That pretty much was their status quo before the MCU.
Most people knew Thor, Captain America, Doctor Strange and the rest as characters in video games or as spots to fill in posters and t shirts.

To be fair, a lot of Spider-Man’s villains tend to branch out to fight other heroes and vice versa.

Because all its hack writers wants to use are the evil versions of him

Armored Adventures made his rouges really good, so it wouldn’t be impossible to let him have good rouges in the comics as well.

That's not wonder woman

>marvel
>Heroes
oh no no no no no

>better villians

Who? Meme Man joker? The many evil version of the JL? DC villians are the most lazy concept there is.

Even Marvel has Doctor Doom, Magneto and Norman Osborn. So it’s not like Marvel is completely devoid of good villains.

Last time I checked they were categorized as heroes.

>Lex, Brainiac, Bizarro, Toyman, Metallo, Zod, Mxyzptlk etc.

Lmao, try again.

And when they do use one of her villains, it's only ever Cheetah or Doctor Psycho. Maybe Circe.

I'm so sick of Cheetah. I only even find the Golden Age one interesting. The Modern Age one is just a generic "I made myself a monster!!!" villain.

...

>Shitting on Starro, Darkseid, Vandal Savage, the Anti-Moniter, Sinestro, Maxwell Lord
Just admit you're a movie only casual.

Cheetah in general works better as a cold hearted and remorseless villain.
If you want a sympathetic villain, you’d want to use Silver Swan.

Don’t forget Parasite and Silver Banshee.
Maybe even the Elite too.

I like that Tattooed Man who just fights Green Lantern for the fun of it.

>Forgetting Grodd, the Reverse Flashes, Black Manta and based Sivana.

Firestorm has villains?

Remember when they tried to make Veronica Cale Diana’s version of Luthor?

It's sad that the only one I recognized right away was Titanium Man,and without the names I never would've known who was who

say again

forgot image

Laugh at this faggot

There’s a reason he’s better known as a JL character than as a solo hero.

mightygodking.com/2008/03/11/there-is-lame-and-then-there-are-firestorm-villains/

>Vandal Savage
Vandal Savage IS pretty boring

Forgetting Face, Scarecrow, Riddler, Freeze, Captsin Cold and Killer Moth

Still better than any 97% of Marvel villains

DC has better filled/fleshed-out rogues galleries. I can name multiple Superman, Batman, Flash, even Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Titans enemies. But Marvel makes up for it with specific archenemies that are utterly fantastic. Green Goblin, Red Skull, Mandarin, Loki, Thunderbolt Ross, Magneto, Dr. Doom, and Thanos are all just plain amazing and never feel tiring to see.

‘Scuse me?

Attached: 7937ACCB-89B8-434C-B58D-3DA10B821AE0.jpg (1200x800, 99K)

The thing i notice with Marvel villains is that they usually are antagonists to many heroes(Hyde, Doom, Ghost) While DC Villains usually don't cross with other heroes

You are all forgetting motherfucking Despero
Silver Banshee is a genuinely fantastic design

You're part of the 3% sweety pumpkin :)

>immortal cannibal caveman who has been or been linked to every despot in history
>eats his descendants to maintain immortality
> descendants are at least 20% of the population at this point
>boring

What a world

So, worse.

It does happen, just with more minor villains.
The biggest example for a major villain would be Darkseid, who went from New Gods enemy to Superman villain to taking on the entire DCU.

What the fuck is his problem?

Attached: Blank+_bb6bc2cabc1932d2fefd3a54bf923bac.jpg (325x274, 17K)

Bitch please

No, he doesn't.

He is. user is a casual watching faggot.

He wants it all, he wants it all, he wants it all, and he want it now

Metallo will fuck your woman and not even feel anything.

>Luthor, Zod, Doomsday, Metallo, Braniac, Henshaw, Eradicator, The Elite, Parasite, Livewire, Bizarro, Mxyzptlk, Toy Man, Atomic Skull, Faora, Mongul, Darkseid (Kinda)

Disagree.

> Metallo
> Parasite
> Livewire
> Toyman
> Unity
> Volcana
> Luminous
> Silver Banshee
>Bizarro
> Atomic skull
> Manchester black

Superman has great villains, it's just that the retards at DC and WB keep using Lex, Doomsday, Zod and Darkseid for every fucking story

What's been with all the Superman hate lately?

No, but most potential

Combination of the JL page and the recent internet pissing contest video opening up old wounds

based baldposter

>dc
>better villains
They have only batman villains as recognizable and famous villains

LOL

Trips confirm.

The problem with Supes isn't his villains but lots of writers only cycle through a few probably cause they find it hard to justify such powerful beings dicking around in Metropolis. Honestly Clark should be a cosmic hero

>Starro
Star-shaped Galactus
Shitseid
"urr durr the equation urr durr"
>Vandal Savage
pff HAHAHA
>Anti-Monitor
"What if there was a bigger threat? And what about an even bigger threat?! And wha..."
>Sinestro
Evil Green Lantern gee so original!
>Maxwell Lord
What if Nick Fury was more morally ambiguous

Just admit you have shit taste, it is fine.

How the fuck has no one mentioned the Hulk ITT? Hulk easily has the worst rogues out of any major hero out of the Big 2.

>only popular villain is mandarin
>mismanaged and forgotten in comics
>made into a joke in im 3
This is what's keeping Iron Man comics from selling better.

Can you even name anyone from Machine Man’s rogues gallery?

Also, whatever is going on with Deathstroke could make him the answer.

Jack O’ Lantern, but I only remember him because he later became Spider-Man villain.

They are either smart guys that make robots, or bald guys from space.

Green Arrow should fight Sportsmaster, Javelin, and anyone else that gets their crime gear at a Hibbet Sports.

Yes and no with Firestorm. He can transmute anything into anything, but he has all the strength and durability of a regular human in a wig. so on a normal day he is just a plain ordinary guy wearing bright orange flying around in the sky. A sniper should be able to end him easily enough.

Flash has the third best rouges galley in comics

So was Krypton just blown up by a massive group effort of Rogol Zar, Black Zero, Brainiac, Rao, the Mining Caste, and Despair?

The fact that Yea Forums believes that this shit here being published every single year makes Dr. Doom an excellent villain will never stop to amuse me.

Attached: aJOUO6e.jpg (1536x2048, 309K)

Hulk sadly falls into the trappings of “throw every strong guy at him”, so people assume guys like absorbing man and juggernaut are part of his bad guys. No one remembers the Ufoes

Attached: CAA24275-1D59-457F-922E-0BA7478579DE.jpg (800x1182, 753K)

Luthor
Brainiac
Bizarro
Mr.Myx
pretty big name baddies

>Flash
you can always tell casuals when they say something like this.

Attached: KNOW Your Meme.jpg (818x615, 95K)

I like when hulks villains are just monsters of the week, like Bi-beast, wendiego, zzzax

Oh Doomfag, it's been awhile since I saw you rant about Doom.

not the best but far from the worst.

>So, let me get this straight: Her name is Silver Deer. She is a Native American supervillainess. Her powers are turning into spirit animals and super-gambling?
2008 was a different time.

would you rather it be super alcoholism and talking to ghosts?

Seeing dead folk all the time would certainly drive me to drink.

The human top or the porcupine ain't good enough for em?

Attached: antman-porcupine.jpg (420x451, 94K)

I was fishing for Brimstone, but okay.

This, Lex Luthor is a character that even normies know.

Are we talking about quality or quantity?

Because Black Bison is awesome

That mad science chick who wants to fuck him, I think she was recently in Slott's Iron Man.

Lmao 100% literal whos

>Superman has great villains, it's just that the retards at DC and WB keep using Lex, Doomsday, Zod and Darkseid for every fucking story

I think another issue with Superman villains is that, aside from Luthor, Bizarro, Darkseid and Brainiac, most of his popular ones don't really have consistent characterizations or themes.

Like, we all know what Two-Face core personality and motivation is. Feeling betrayed by the justice system he fought for, he's now a villain obsessed with chance, duality, etc. Scarecrow is a man who's been made to feel powerless throughout his life, who now uses fear to exercise power over others. Riddler is a guy who tests others as a way of showing he's the smartest guy in the room.

Metallo is a guy who's part robot and has a kryptonite heart. What his personality like? His motivations? Depends on the run.

Parasite? Well, he's purple and can absorb powers/energy/life-force. What's he like, though?

Even though Brainiac has a consistent characterization today, the Modern Age version was kinda all over the place until Geoff Johns codified the DCAU version in the comics.

Parasite has consistently been portrayed as a lowlife loser whose supervillainy is driven by a need to show that he's a "big man" since his debut in the Silver Age. Also the DCAU version of Brainiac was never codified, elements of the DCAU version were combined with the Bronze Age version. Also Two-Face is a villain because of deeply rooted personal trauma because of an abusive father and Riddler leaves clues because of a compulsive need to tell the truth.

galactus is a man shaped starro

Superman is probably the most powerful hero that still sticks to street level crime fighting. It's like Silver Surfer, or Dr Strange stopping purse snatchers around town.

You are just embarrassing yourself. Stop

Name one Swamp Thing villain besides Arcane and Co.

DC characters often live in their own worlds (because they were created and formented like that, and their premise falls apart when say Superman comes to Gotham or reverse) as opposed to Marvel characters sharing a universe since the 60s.

No, not at all. However, it does show how far X-Men have fallen as they have a rich rogue's gallery as well.

Lex, Brainiac, Bizarro, Metallo, Doomsday, Lobo sort of, the whole Apokalips crew sort of, Mxy, etc. Supes has plenty of good rogues to compliment him. Stop being silly OP, next you're going to say Batman has a crappy Rogues Gallery.

Uhh, Hoggish Greedly.

Hexxus?

>Even though Brainiac has a consistent characterization today, the Modern Age version was kinda all over the place until Geoff Johns codified the DCAU version in the comics.
STAS made me think he was a robot.

I wanna fuck Firebrand!

Too strong

>Flash Internet Defense Force

Everyone knows who Lex Luthor is. Normies won't be able to name a single Flash villain.

Zoom

Captain Cold gets pushed pretty hard these days

Also Captain Boomerang. Forgot about him

ALL SHIT

Kinda not really.
Deathstroke has appeared fewer times as Ollie’s villain then he has a Batman villain and ESPECIALLY as a Nightwing villain.

Yeah, nobody knows him.

Pushed where? In comics and tv shows nobody watches?

This

As early as his first team up with Lex, he was.

Awful designs, all of them.

Madame Menace?

That’s a good one. I actually forgot about her.

I attribute him more to the New Teen Titans/Beast Boy.

Killer Frost is about the only one on par with him power level wise, but power levels don't matter as much as stories do.

Plastique is good and she has no powers at all.

Most of his villains deal with him by separating him. They’re not really mismatched, it’s just the trope of heroes always winning that makes them look bad.

I fucking hate werewolf cheetah.

Veronica Cale and Cheetah should have been combined into one character

Called Cheetah.

Too powerful. The only options he has is A) really powerful guy like Darkseid, B) really smart guy like Lex, or C) really smart AND powerful guy like Brainiac.

>no Mandarin or Fin Fang Foom
Look, when it comes to Iron Man, I'm just an MCU casual tier dumb dumb, but even I know about the dragon.
also Controller

It's the best one, only a pleb batfag or a spiderfag would disagree.

I don’t see how he’s “horribly mismatched”. He put up a very convincing fight.

Fuck you, buddy

Attached: 1400195554055.jpg (500x400, 51K)

The New Teen Titans are just his team enemy. A lot of villains belong to a team and an individual rogues gallery.
