Less realistic-looking CGI, more varied styles of animation.

Oh boy. More edgy shorts by people who think what makes a mature short is gore, nudity and swearing.

Less gore and nudity for the sake of itself. I think most shorts lost a lot of potential because they simply were too focused one being edgy rather than telling an interesting story.

This user is also right, the shorts desperately need some variety as well.

better stories. complex visuals, none of that clash of clans looking stuff,paper art and no live action bits.

Better writing.

All they had to do was adapt Bradbury, Heinlein, and Asimov, instead of taking stories that that try hard and fail to be deep and then occasionally slathering them with sex and gore.

Something as nuanced as Zima Blue and When the Yogurt Took Over, well-structured as Beyond the Aquila Rift and Suits, tense as Helping Hand, and less up-its-own-ass like in Shape-Shifters and Sonnie's Edge.

Gonna be honest, the yogurt, vampire, and Hitler ones bored me the most. They seemed to be based off of too small a concept and to have done too little with it. I'm hoping S2 will have more "complete" feeling stories

If we want titties we can go to /s/, this is a chance for us to get enjoyable sci fi shorts, stop ruining it by stuffing titties into it for no reason

It's not so much prudish as it is a distaste for cheap quality. Adult animation, even with a theme of love, death, and robots, doesn't have to rely on cheap nudity to keep attention. Just like how people dislike how edgy Family Guy can be even if they don't mind gore or offensive jokes.
