How will this play out?

>Chelsea Cain writes a Mockingbird series that doesn't sell well
>Last issue has Bobbi wearing a tshirt that says "Ask me about my feminist agenda" on the cover
>Dudes on twitter give her shit about it
>Chelsea deletes her twitter account for a while
>The lame comics journalists all write about how the basement dwelling incels bullied a brave woman

>Over the past 24 hours, trans people have been attacking Chelsea on Twitter because Man-Eaters, a comic literally about how getting your period makes you turn into a killer cat, doesn't include trans people.
>Chelsea tries everything, even apologizing and later offering an unpaid gig to a trans person to check out the issues
>Not good enough. They keep attacking
>Chelsea deletes her twitter account

Tl;dr version: The first time Chelsea was bullied off Twitter, she was the poor woman being attacked by pathetic guys. This time, since it's trans people bullying her, will the journalist side with her again as the victim, or will they be hypocrites and blame her?

Tell her to eat shit. This is the kind of comic culture she wanted. Now she gets to experience it when her SJW friends decide that she wasn't woke enough and turned on her.

Why would they be hypocrites, these are two different situations. Either way, Cain's got no one to blame but herself.

Well we're seeing it play out on here:
bleedingcool.com/2019/06/09/ask-chelsea-cain-about-her-trans-exclusionary-radical-feminist-agenda/

Why would you even care what the trans's manufactured outrageous?

>doesn't include trans people.
There has to be more to it than that, most things don't include trans people, so why single out this one particular comic book?

Once pointed out, this has, as one might expect, not gone over very well, with fans, critics, and fellow comic book creators taking to Twitter to comment on it.

Is this our pride month image transphobia scandal for the year? Happened so early this year! (Assuming this is real and not shopped. I'm not buying that comic to find out)

— Sarah Horrocks (@mercurialblonde) June 8, 2019
Chelsea Cain came to prominence in the comics community thanks to this "ask me about my feminist agenda" cover, which provoked backlash from sexist fanboys, and made her into a feminist figurehead. Now she's using that platform to punch down at trans people. Very disappointing.

— Gavia Baker-Whitelaw (@Hello_Tailor) June 8, 2019

If your "feminism" doesn't include trans folks, your "agenda" is bullshit.

— Jill Pantozzi (@JillPantozzi) June 8, 2019

I just flat out do not understand how anyone could actually believe a feminist concept comic that excludes trans people does not meet the criteria of trans exclusionary radical feminism.

— Nick Hanover (@Nick_Hanover) June 8, 2019

Because it was about women
"So include transwomen!"
"Biological women. Transwomen dont menstrate"
"WTF YOU TERF"

Though some did come to Cain's defense.

It's not terfy.

— walk away, renee (@MagsVisaggs) June 8, 2019

Chelsea did an imperfect book about how it felt to go through puberty and how her own body was communicated to her. I don't see the problem with that.

— walk away, renee (@MagsVisaggs) June 8, 2019

ahahahah are the trans gonna have their own comicsgate? the irony is palpable

She grabbed some tweets that were mildly critical of her work and placed them in some anti-menstruation concentration camp.

Plus, the latest issue even had some of the tweets that complained about her being a terf, even though she removed the person's name. I'm not even sure why she did that to be honest.

You're leaving out the part where she put copy-pasted tweets from transfolk that criticized the book as billboards in literal concentration camps within the book. She's a straight up TERF no matter how you slice it.

That said, I'm more than OK with Cain and Trans Twitter tearing each other apart. No love lost there. Let's just not try and spin this as Cain not being blameless.

I'm surprised Mags, of all people, is defending her.

TERF vs Trans is such a fun fight to watch

>butthurt nerd losers gets mad at comic artists
>butthurt nerd losers gets mad at comic artists

I fail to see any difference

This is probably the big fuck up right here, it just comes off as so damn smug, and then to spend your last several tweets crying about how you can't stop screwing up and how you love ALL people. You're a damn child and now your just crying because people are calling your shit out. It also doesn't help that this is coming to a head during pride month.

This.
She is being attacked by a hateful cult, but she is the one who did dig her own grave.
She contributed to the Terror, now she gets to taste the guillotine.

It's really not that different, though.
>Her feminist views on Mockingbird made guys mad and when they bitched on twitter and she deleted her account. They said she was the victim
>Her feminist views on Man-Eaters made the trans mad and they bitched on twitter and she deleted her account.

She only deleted her account a few hours ago, and this has been going on since Saturday. I'll be honest, I'm waiting to see how Bleeding Cool is going to spin it, since they don't have the incel angle to go with, and it's political suicide to say that trans people are ever wrong.

It's kind of clear she was a dick in this instance though. People are calling her out for putting critics actual tweets and framing them in a terf subtext.

Why do trannies think that anyone likes them? They do shit like this constantly.

Attached: trans-military-ban-comic.png (625x605, 81K)

OP here, I just want it known that I don't think Chelsea is blameless in either situation. Honestly, I rarely use twitter, but I happened upon her twitter yesterday when things were in full swing and it was hilarious to watch.

time for you to fuck off back to /pol/

Guys, hey I've got the best idea. Its gonna fix everything.
Put trans men in the comic.
Problem solved.

>They hated Stonetoss because he told them the truth

Neck yourself tranny

Chelsea, let us discuss this without your input.

Trannies dont menstrate.
That's not an opinion.

I don't understand. There are trans men who menstruate before getting on T. The transwomen forgot about that?
Having a man's mind and living in a female body is hell.
Many biological women find it horrifying, the pain, the lack of medical acceptance or advancement, things like forced birth and controlling bodies.
If transwomen claim to care about all women, why come I don't hear about them speaking up for the medical issues of an AFAB body? Is that TERF?

because they literally have mental issues

>AFAB
Nobody knows what your retarded SJW abbreviations mean, tranny.

Yeah, if it was just the case of "her comic about menstruation doesn't have any transwomen" then it's like... who gives a shit? Transwomen don't menstruate. End of story. There's no logical reason why they should play a part in the narrative beyond shallow lipservice. It's the part where she included the tweets as somehow being anti-feminist propaganda within the comic itself that it went from a bunch of transwomen making a stink about nothing into Cain making an absolute ass out of herself.

How many levels of clown world are you on that saying "trannies dont menstrate because they're not actually women" is something that needs to be apologized for?

because transwomen don't care about all women. they pretend to for virtual signaling. but in reality 99% of internet "transwomen" are failed males who are looking for attention. the other 1% are actually real transwomen and don't have time to deal with twitter drama

trannys who "oh yeah we've had it so hard ladies, men are such pigs, AM I RIGHT?! but let's not forget the trans struggle is more important too!" are the biggest frauds of them all and they know that even an average cis woman will call them out on their bullshit

Assigned Female at Birth.

So Male to Female transwomen are AMAB (Assigned Male at Birth). I'm not trans, mate.

TERFS are the only real feminists. Hell, the only people genuine about gender/patriarchy not being a natural role your born into.

Trans identity conflicts directly with the ideology of feminism, as it tells us that girls should be/look/act girly and boys should be/look/act manly.

The modern Trans movement allows decidedly average straight white males - near exclusive rich to middle class in status - to co-opt victimhood (and the massive benefits that gives them in the realm of academia, business and the arts), and a cheap and easy way to get rid of 'privilege'.

All this without getting into the nitty-gritty issues like males invading "safe spaces" for women, pressuring lesbians to take dick, demanding extremely disproportionate representation in female causes and derailing movements if they don't get their way, and ruining chances for female achievement in sports.

As someone - one of the few, I guess - that has bought every issue, there has been one mention of trans people in the entire book: it was on the inside cover and was a school note from the principal that mentions trans people in addition to girls.
It's kind of a tough spot to write from for her. Are there really THAT many trans people that EVERY school as them? If she put a news report in the comics where the reporter says "the werecat was a transman named Steve..." they'd still complain because it wasn't enough.

Kind of makes you wonder what behind the scenes shit she did to get her Vision series canned.

>Stonetoss

Isn't he an unironic incel?

I saw that exact tweet as a reply and it pissed off a trans person so badly.

I never said that? Not including transwomen in a comic about menstruation isn't the thing that makes her a terf. The part where she frames the people criticising her for not including transwomen as being anti-feminist and anti-woman propaganda, however, very much is.

Did she include transmen? There's so much trauma around periods to unpack for female to male folks.

>I'm not trans, I just know all of their insane, obscure terminology
Ok tranny.

It was literally just a couple words. I should go grab the comic and double check.
The trans community has been pissed at her since issue #1, so when I saw that, I figured it was just her paying the mildest of lip service.

Let me guess, a week ago everyone who would've went "ew trannies are mentally ill" are now going full "think of those innocent women" in order to own this woman they hate?

That's a possibility but I don't think any of the tweeters quoted in this thread were like that.

Are you not looking at this thread? Hell, look at the next Sinfest thread, people are starting to come around to Tats now that he's going full TERF too.

Oh boy, another thinly veiled ragebait thread that will reach 600+ because our mods are fucking useless tards that couldn't spot obvious ragebait even if it facefucked them.

DO YOUR PART. REPORT RAGEBAIT. DO NOT REPLY TO IT.

I don't think you're reading the thread...

Sarah is someone I respect the heck out of, her mechas are dope
Mags has no integrity or talent

Here's what I was talking about. It's from issue 6.

...But how can they object when trans women don't menstruate??

It's not like they don't want to -

Attached: 1560085016777.png (2156x1722, 2.73M)

>do a satyre about menstruation and what teenage girls go through
>bunch of trans cultists keep harrassing her on twitter because why isn't the comics about ME ME ME?!
>Cain does what she usually does with standard menists: use her comics to ridicule them. Retard thought the "men are trash" crew was gonna cheer her
>except she forgot trans cult is at the top of the oppression pyramid and now she gets to taste her own SJW medicine

being a dipshit and whining about things isn't against the rules

attack chelsea and say that the trannies are the actual victims here

Except it's not.I'm genuinely curious to see how this will play out.
Chelsea has been going on twitter complaining that the book costs more money to make than it brings in (and uses the three teen girls she has write silly stuff as a shield). Her exact quote was "We can't make it work."
You know how All Star Batman and Robin was such a shitshow, yet you couldn't turn away and wondered the entire time "Who thought this was a good idea?" That is me with this book. I think the premise alone is not bad, but Chelsea keeps fucking it up.

Are you buying it out of sincere interest or as some kind of ironic thing? Just curious. I just took a look at its issues to see what the fuss is about, and I'm conflicted about it. The comic seems to be doing a lot of unusual stuff and that's kinda cool (such as all the guide/propaganda segments), but the basic premise feels like a parody of itself since it reminds me of certain Yea Forums memes (such as the saying that female comedians can't make jokes about anything else except their periods, or all the toxoplasmosis shitposting on /an/).

Attached: Man-Eaters-001-(2018)-(Digital)-(Mephisto-Empire)-014.jpg (1988x3056, 1.55M)

Thanks! So the author wrote a book about AFAB folks.
But the actual issue is more her taking MTF people's criticism of being excluded and calling it anti-feminist and doxxing them.

Why did MTF transwomen have issues with a book that wasn't about their biology earlier? If FTM transmen were included like your picture? Why didn't she just create world where you could get ovary implants and bleed like an AFAB woman?

Why the fuck would they WANT to do this???
Seriously, why???
I was talking to my girlfriend about this the other day; I asked her how she felt about the radfem obsession with their periods. She said that normal women hate everything about their periods and secretly look forward to menopause. But, it's something they have to deal with: periods are disgusting and any woman that "celebrates" them (like painting with the blood) needs to have their head checked out.

Well, I think it's sort of... a feeling that if you're going to be a woman, or rather if you are a woman but with a male body but want to be a woman physically, you have to take the good with the bad.

The desire to truly be a woman drives them to this. Honestly, I understand it and even admire it a little.

They call transsexuals crazy, but honestly, sometimes the crazy option is the only one.

This is my reply ahead of your question: It started out as a curiosity and interest in the premise - which COULD be an interesting premise. And I do try to buy books I'm interested in instead of just relying on storytimes (inb4 Yea Forums doesn't buy comics).
For example, issue 4, the first magazine parody was well done. However, it was a bad idea because it was right in the middle of the storyline, which didn't really resolve. She puts the "Being a woman sucks and men oppress us" theme (and no, that's not /pol/-speak, that it literally what the book is) in front of the story instead of the other way around. Now, I'm just riding the train until it ends (which looks to be issue 12).

Transsexuals are cis creossdressers. Trans-gendered are "I am literally not the gender I was born as"

user... he will end up doing that even if you don't remind him, instead you should remind him of doing something painful like dilating, witch is something he has to do unlit he decides to neck himself as you so kindly reminded him.

What is dilating?

What the fuck are all of this abbreviations
Like fuck what the fuck is a TERF
Fuck Jill Pantozzi

The millennial entitlement. "Everything has to be about me". CG: "This girl-targeted comic/cartoon doesn't have male representation!". SJW: "This normal people-targeted comic/cartoon doesn't have transracial genderfluid representation!". It's all the same shit and it's pathetic to see every time.

Yeah, that was me forgetting what the letter actually said until I dug the issue out for the photo.
And I have no idea why she thought it was a good idea to use those tweets in the latest issue. I didn't even think that she may have been doing what suggested. When I read it the other day, I was pretty sure they were real tweets, but couldn't figure out why she put them in the book; I thought maybe she was trying to do the "See? I'm listening" but I think the other poster may be on to something.

Wow this is a hell I was not aware of. Every day for two years and then two to three times a week for life?

Attached: Dr.-Chettawut’s-recommendation-of-vaginal-dilation.jpg (1269x1927, 1.4M)

Fuck TERFs

So glad I didn't go to med school, I looked up a 3D version of the surgery and it was miraculous yet horrifying. Glad there are people who actually have this God-like skill though. Skin grafts are not a joke. psfnc.

indeed, i don't have any link at hand on this pc but if you are interested you should look into the horror stories by those that seriously regret chopping their dick off.

I am sorry, I have no idea what that means.

Let's see. 'Sex' is the physical, isn't it? If you have a willy and/or a Y-chromosome, you're male, etc. But 'Gender' is the identity, ie, why people say some women have a penis.

So a transsexual would be someone born with differing gender and sex and a desire to bring one in line with the other.

......Is there a therapy which attempts to bring gender in line with sex rather than the other way around?

Bump.
Dumb faggot.

>those that seriously regret chopping their dick off

That's what I mean by 'sometimes the only option is the crazy one'.

Making fun of transsexuals is evil. That simple. These are people who are in a predicament that is so shitty we can't even imagine it. We should be supportive even if we can't do a fucking thing.

It looks to me like this is what started the controversy. I had barely even heard anything about the comic until the tweets that were inserted into the comic. It doesn't even look like they have any particular reason to be there, so including them seems to have caught people's attention and pissed them off.

My guess is Cain's gonna end up as the loser here. Oppression olympics are won by trying to claim victim status, and the trans people have it in this particular case. Also, the outrage culture is famous for eating their own, and being pretty damn unforgiving about fuck-ups.

Attached: Man-Eaters-009-(2019)-(Digital)-(Mephisto-Empire)-015.jpg (1987x3056, 1.69M)

He's an unironic Nazi.

>God-like skill
What.

In any case, my feelings on this whole incident are pic related. It's satisfying to see social justice people in-fighting with each other instead of dragging everyone else into their bullshit.

Attached: Asterix -16- Asterix and the Great Crossing.jpg (589x245, 72K)

Why are we pretending that people weren't mad at her comic for legitimate reasons? Either way social media allows every single crazy person a direct channel into interacting with anyone. This is why the smart celebrities have someone else running their Twitter account.

Attached: 1464204189665.jpg (1988x3056, 1.91M)

This.

No? Yea Forums never does that shit. This is more of a feeling of schadenfreude at someones karmic retribution. Exactly the same feeling we had when Joss Whedon or Brandon Graham got lynched online by SJW's.
It turns out that pandering to outrage culture doesn't protect you from them, they will turn on you as soon as you cross when of their stupid boundaries and it is impossible to not cross one of them because their boundaries are constantly shifting and change depending on where you stand in their intersectionality pyramid.

Yeah. A vagina created by a 'sex' change' is really just an open wound which will try to heal and close, so they have to force it open forever. I would just get fucked in the ass for the rest of my life rather than have that done to me.

Attached: kingcity.jpg (600x876, 125K)

That is the dumbest thing ever. How did she not think this would blow up in her face?

Sounds based.

Yep, those were the panels.
When I read that page, I thought it was a setup for the cheap "long line for the women's room" joke and then re-read the tweets.
Mind you, this takes place at someplace called "Ruminations" - think of it like a Betty Ford clinic, but for women who get their periods. Plus, it was started by whatever would passes for male feminists in the werepanther situation; it seems like she is making fun of them, too.

>"I appreciate any comic on menstruation and the literal eating of men - I super duper do..."
>Seems like a pretty level headed person to me.

What if the supportive thing to do is stop them from risking their health by injecting hormones and spending a fortune on surgery which doesn't actually make them look like a woman or even feel better about themselves.
'Supportive' people are the ones telling hideous guys in dresses that they are brave and beautiful. Assholes are the ones telling them they look like freaks but the assholes are the only people willing to be honest with them as well.
