X-Men
Simpsons Arcade
X-Men with two screens and six players is fucking insane, just sheer chaos
Simpsons Arcade > X-Men Arcade > Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade
That depends
Which Turtles game is it? I’m pretty sure there were two arcade ones, and I can’t tell which one is in the image.
the 1 that isn't Turtles in Time.
Looks like the select screen from the first one
In that case, Simpsons.

C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa
I don’t think you understand the point of this thread.
>college party at arcade bar
>Free Play
>try out the new TMNT arcade game based on the recent CG show
>it's completely unbalanced bullshit where you'd need to shell out dozens of credits to finish because your hitboxes are enormous and enemy projectiles hitscan
I forgot how cruelly these cabinets could be designed
i remember going to the arcade and playing xmen, pac-man, polybius, and the simpsons
simpsons was kino
Always get to the Xmen cab first avoid playing cyclops or dazzler as they have shitty angles to the screen
YOO HOO
>and then Konami went to shit
Are pachinkos even that profitable, then again they also sell a shitload of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, so it probably doesn't matter.
>polybius
You thought you can sneak that reference pass here?
>No one has posted Spiderman
Come on dudes, Shit was bomb as hell and had a kickass sega ost to go with it.

dammit
>Namor
...
>those outfits
Pure fashion kino.
X-men looked cooler, but the mutant power gameplay mechanic was crap. It was pretty much designed to eat quarters. Simspsons and Turtles didn't have special moves, but it also didn't take away life to use a super either. I think they had better gameplay overall.
Of those 3? The Simpsons, it had more variety. But my all time favorite is
storm was broken as fuck. once you figured out her range you could solo x-men any time you wanted.
Seriously underrated game

It counts!
JP versions of the old Turtles games and Simpsons were a lot more balanced. Konami USA fucked up nearly all of their mid 80's-90's arcade games with unfair difficulty changes or removal of certain features. Note here how in JP Simpsons you can get extra health that extends your life bar.

The new one you played sucks because its from Raw Thrills, and they're (mostly) shit.
I can't think of that many games that have Hawkeye and Namor playable.
X-Men children of the atom.
Omega Red's special was shit, but everything else was great. I beat Magneto on my second try with him.
OKAY
GO
THANK YOU
WONDERMAN
Turtles in Time > X-men six player > Simpsons X-men 4 player > Turtles 1
>people tought the mini instakill bomb on the US versions was a meme
>its real
>2019
>STILL TO THIS DAY NO ONE CAN PROPERLY EMULATE THE SOUND OF BOTH XMEN AND SIMPSONS!
Simpsons. TNMT was my first, but I got REAAALLY hooked on the Simpsons.
>tfw you missed a fireworks display outside just because you made it this far in the Simpsons game.
AMERICA STILL NEEDS YOUR POWER !
That reminds me. A local arcade still has vintage machines in which you can watch old cartoons like Felix The Cat. They're pretty much big round flip books you view through a lens. Haven't been there yet this year.

SAY YOUR PRAYERS
My bowling alley had a TMNT machine. Haven't played the other ones.
That's neat, user, those things truly have historical value, you should record the motion pictures and share them with your 4channers friends before it's too late.
Spent the most quarters on The Simpsons.
The only good Superman game ever?
Used to play the shit out of this
I've never actually seen this one
Eh, Death and Return of Superman is decent, and about as monotonous since they're both beat em ups
Interestingly Supergirl was supposed to be the second player but they went with a red Superman instead
Son of a...!
Turtles in Time is all time best multiplayer arcade sidescroller.
(beyonce voice) *Ready?*
I WANNA TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE
Wasn't there jumpers on the mainboard or a bios like screen for arcade games where the arcade owner could set the difficulty, cost per credit, and other stuff?

They had that arcade cabinet on the left at my dentist on free play to get kids to be less anxious about going to the dentist.
They had a shit ton of other great arcade games too. Too bad that they eventually had to get rid of them because arcade cabinets and pinball machines break down pretty often and can be expensive to keep running all the time.
Pic related fascinated yet creeped 4 year old me out
I think it planted the seeds for my obsession with gore and snuff films
I need to find photos of myself in outfits like those... and burn them.
You're an idiot for not realizing what board this and why those three games were chosen.
Have sex
No wonder from such edgelord.
The first TMNT if you pressed both attack and jump at the same time you make a little humo attack that does more damage/kills foot soldiers in one hit.
Simpsons had the co-op attacks
I know practically all arcade machines could have their quarters/tokens intake adjusted, but not all arcade games had game difficulty settings.
gotta be simpsons
it's the only one with a commodore 64 version
No arcade games hold a candle to this.
