The Legend of Korra

Just finished Avatar and I'm now jumping onto Korra. What am I in for bros?

disappointment

Total shit.

A much better series with an actually interesting protagonist

Jobby McJobber.

Its worse, not even like memey cause they're gay but its worse. Cool concepts that they don't know how write which makes it hurt worse

the opposite of a good time

Watch up until the last two episodes of the first season and just come up with your own ending. You'll thank me later.

But if you want to really watch it then understand that the writing suffers from Lucas syndrome in that the supporting writers are not around and the main architects show their limitations in crafting a compelling story on their own. Quality goes up in later seasons when they get more writers back.

You’re no such thing
You’re baiting for a complain about Korra thread which you could have at least been honest and led with that

Fuck, this place is more obsessed with this shit than Brie Larson and Zack Snyder combined

Just watch E-Semi-Colon-R's Legend of Whorra videos, nig.

I finished season 3 a couple weeks ago, should I be bothered watching season 4?

fpbp

Are you a faggot that bases all of your opinions on what other faggot anons tell you to feel?

Theres a cool fight or 2, they forgot to make the villain wrong so they gave her a giant robot with a laser beam

How are the Blu-rays of avatar I hate how a lot of Blu-ray’s are just zoomed in versions of old cartoons and movies

It's alright.

First season has a lot of potential and some great moments, but the ending is a bit underwhelming.
Second season is a clusterfuck and spends half the season with a different animator.
Third season is Avatar kino.
Fourth season starts out really strong, then goes completely bananas in the final act and ends on just kind of a mediocre ending.

I'd say it's definitely worth watching, but don't go in expecting ATLA or you'll be a bit disappointed.

Thanks, I might give it a shot but I've just lost any enthusiasm I had for watching that show

Aangs grandson is a fart joke. He airbends by farting.
If you still want to watch it go ahead, but Aangs fart joke grandson isnt even the worst of it.

You're in for quality animation (bar season 2), decent choreography, a fun steampunk-ish/roaring 20s aesthetic, the pushing of boundaries (some of which don't work out), a couple very good villains taken with some two medriocre ones, a reasonably accurate depiction of bisexuality that people built up from season 3 overly complain about because they can't pick up a hint as it breaks a plate in their face, and the biggest protagonist since 2013 that people most want to (hate) fuck. Overall it took its risks, some of which ended up being mediocre, but I find it still very enjoyable.

>a child is utilized for childish jokes
The...Horror?

Only watch season one, anyone who says otherwise is full of shit, season 3 is bad, just not quite as shit as season 2 and 4.

Don't bother it's shit

Disaster, made worse by the comics

>Grandson
Who cares when one of his sons get's a worse treatment.

Total and complete disregard for the original material and mediocre writing at best.

Its not total shit but the plotholes and retcons ruin the mythos of the show.
this

>basically the only not completely shit character in the series
>constantly gets shat on because he has balls to not instantly get on his knees and praise korra as the greatest thing ever

Poor Tenzin, if only you weren't stuck in such a shit series.

He gets to repeatedly knock up a woman almost half his age. He's fine.

This post looks like it was written by a seething tranny

Who said anything about Tenzin? I was talking about Boomy

compared to the hundreds of threads doing seething of their own about Korra that's an unimpressive insult

I'll tell you this. Please don't watch this.

Don’t.

Don't bother, it's not even so bad it's good.

pain

Stop where you are now and don't let it taint your memories of Avatar.

1 season 6/10
2 season 0/10
3 season 8/10
4 season 7/10

No

>anything in Korra being above 6/10
>when nick was actually right to shaft the show for once

Okay -2 to every season. Third one is still the best.

Mediocre season, terrible season, great season, okay season

good animation. lots and lots of dumb mechs.

It's not as good as ATLA, but still watchable. Also this

Watch the first season then quit. Season 2 is hands down the worst show I have seen. It meanders with random sub plots and the whole middle of the season is pointless and builds to nothing other than mellowdrama, hell she has amnesia at one point just to create relationship drama. I hear the other seasons are good but honestly after that pitiful display it was not worth continuing.

>Lucas syndrome in that the supporting writers are not around and the main architects show their limitations in crafting a compelling story on their own.
But Lucas and Kasdan wrote Empire Strikes Back, then Kasdan without Lucas wrote The Force Awakens, which is far more poorly written than any of the prequels.

Fundamentally one of the worst follow-ups to one of the best cartoons.
I'd suggest stopping as unreasonable as that sounds.
All that it does is shit on the original.

>What am I in for bros?
Some cool fights.

i am sorry for you.
