Not really. That stuff is meant to titillate younger boys and act as a "role mode" for little girls, same way Barbie dolls were. Teens would have graduated to Hustler or Playboy. Besides, using the pin-ups to represent the whole series is extremely disingenuous since they were so infrequent.
The sexiness is the stuff that's most prevalent in recent decades, typified by the introduction of Cheryl Blossom in the 80s, who's whole shtick was "hottest Archie girl evar." But yeah. No teens are reading this stuff. Anyone over the age of 12 reading Archie comics is doing it for nostalgia's sake (like myself).

IIRC, there was a comic where Alexandra and Melody were competing in the school elections. Half the school sides with Alexandra and the other half sided with Melody. What happened later was that the two had a debate about school policy regarding bullying. The result? The people who supported Melogy went with Alexandra. On the other hand, the people who supported Alexandra went with Melody.

Yeah. Archie is purely for nostalgia factor, to remind of you being a kid when you were reading it, or simply hearkening back to a simpler pre-internet time when all you had to worry about was going to school, hanging out with friends, and chasing skirt.
Archie didn't try to tell mature, sophisticated stories until the 10s renaissance led by Afterlife with Archie, which hilariously is still unfinished. I don't expect it or Sabrina to be finished. The money is in TV now and Archie made the leap very successfully (whatever your opinions of Riverdale happen to be).
