Ryan Unicomb, the guy who first reported that Robert Pattinson was up for Batman, said that Warner is eyeing Lucas Till to replace Ezra Miller as The Flash.
DCEU UPDATES
He also said Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Richard E. Grant, Oscar Isaac, Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Gad, Toby Kebbell and Theo Rossi are all up for roles in Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN
Clarke and Russell would be up for Thomas and Martha Wayne, with Grant as Alfred, while Hudgens, Gad and Kebbell would be up for Catwoman, Penguin and Scarecrow. No word on Isaac's and Rossi's character, though it was said Isaac could be up for Two-Face and Rossi could be up for Bane.
>Beast almost was Batman
>Havok is the Flash
Cast the rest of the First Class cast into the DCEU.
I'd love to see McAvoy as a young Jim Gordon
I would rather have Wally
You won't.
McAvoy as McCulloch Mirror Master
Fassbender as Reverse Flash
Oh shit, someone who actually looks like the character? Is that allowed in Hollywood?
will this ruin chances of another MacGyver season
>Rossi could be up for Bane.
Having seen this guy in Sons of Anarchy and Luke Cage, I appreciate him and find him fun to watch, but I'm not sure he could bulk up nearly enough for the big guy.
Fassbender as Maxwell Lord
Oscar Isaac as two-face would be great
A male blonde with blue eyes and masculine look? In current 2019? I am so triggered.
This, instead of 2 Barry just give us Jay or Wally instead.
BANE?
No, seriously; Bane is a shit villain unless he's just the muscle.
shitty taste
>Clarke and Russell would be up for Thomas and Martha Wayne,
Cuz we really need to see them get shot again.
....he looks like he should be wally, like fuck at the very least just get a yellowish blonde guy
He's not a literal faggot like Ezra, is he?
How blonde does he have to be to appease you people?
MacGyver got a bit better in the latest season but it's still a super obnoxious show. I can't stand the narration cards telling us the setting, and then following up with something lolsorandum and quirky. I constantly feel like I'm watching Marvel capeshit with this show.
Vanessa Hudgens would make a damn good Eartha Kitt era Catwoman.
>Clarke and Russell would be up for Thomas and Martha Wayne
Jesus Christ.
Not if they adapt based King's 4D chess Bane
Is the midget still the boss?
>Clarke and Russell
Why? I liked Cohan and Negan.
>Grant
Well, I guess that's okay. He is 10 years younger than Irons.
>Hudgens
Honestly, I don't really like her. No particular reason.
>Rossi
Shades as Bane? Well, if he can bulk up a little, then yes.
>Why? I liked Cohan and Negan.
It's a reboot.
>Isaac could be up for Two-Face
Dencio Jarvaez
This needs to happen
No matter how good the actors, it's the screenwriting that ruins DC shows across CW or the DCEU. Is a new creative team taking over? People who don't write stuff that sounds like they're literally reading off a book in class? Even the cartoons sound more natural and real.
DC has a Japanese film (wooden soulless acting) vs anime problem (actual emotions).
Jesus Christ we've never got so many villains in one Batman movie besides the 60's version.
>Not Robin Taylor Lord for the Penguin
>Not David Mazous for Bruce
Why is WB so inept
He needs a better body is what he needs.
>Gotham has been killing it for years
>Warner brothers aren't even considering those actors for the movies
fuck
>Vanessa Hudgens as Catwoman
Please no. Bring back Anne Hathaway damn it!
Can someone please explain to me what the fuck is going on? Why is everyone being recast? Are they expecting people to accept chunky ben affleck suddenly just being skinny vampire boy, and Ezra Miller just being blonde now?
Am I missing something?
Yes. You are.
>Blonde
>Blue eyes
I like this, he actually looks like Barry Allen
It's hard to believe you people are walking around on the planet without someone holding your hands and cutting up your solid food for you.
I love it
yes
but Ezra is hot af
>I love it
Let me guess. You're a white female or white male. You love the MCU and you own a cat. Perhaps several cats.
Midget boss is so fucking cringe. Several times in the new season, the midget teleports around a live gunfight to suddenly have the drop on a bad guy with her gun to his head. The show constantly bends over backward to make her look imposing. But they can't show her trying to get off and on chairs because it would just look cartoonish.
no, no and no but have a dog
lmao WB fucked DCEU up hard.
Feels bad, man.
Will the character still be autistic though? I hated that about the Miller version.
Banshee as Wally
>McAvoy as The Riddler.
>Fassbender as Bane.
Cope.
So are they ditching Gal and Jason?
No, they're the only ones sticking around.
There are way too many white people here.
This rumour doesn't make sense right? By the time Gal and Jason are done with their trilogies and WB take a 3 year gap before rebooting the characters, Robert Pattinson will have finished his trilogy. So they're not going to exist in the same universe anyway.
It makes much more sense if they just continue making solo movies and once public demand for a crossover is high enough, they attempt it again with the current roster at the time.
he unironically is
He has a heroic face, it's a shame he was miscast as Barry when he could have gotten something more fitting for him
He looks like a fit for Kyle Rayner
Is that keynan from the flash show? Weird instance of hypercrisis lol
>Is that keynan from the flash show?
yes
Why does he look like he has no neck?
Will Bart ever be in live action again after Smallville? I hope not.
>blonde
>blue eyes
>experience acting in capeshit
Well they cleared the first bar. I don't want to get too excited, but things are looking up.
>Fassbender as Reverse Flash
>Luke Cage
Oh fuck, that's right. He was Shades wasn't he?
That may be, but multiple reports suggest that his contract expired at the end of May.
>youre_out_Ezra.gif
Mark Hughes is never right.
I can honestly see it. If they are taking their time, and aren't rushing/under the legal gun, what, The Batman wont be out until 2021 at the soonest?
So lets give Wan the Nolan timeline, and say Aquaman 2 comes out that year, because Wan produces and directs a couple other things along the way.
If WB was smart (I know, imagination caps on) they would schedule The Batman to be the summer movie, and A2 to release around the same time the first did, if only to hedge their bets and see how The Batman is received before making any big time decisions about going full in on this "plan."
I'm going to assume if 1984 does well, WB will give Gadot and Jenkins a third WW which without the tumultuous shake up of the shared universe, could probably come out in 2022, before they go off into the sunset.
My question becomes his reference to Supergirl. If this is going to be a new universe/timeline/whatever, are they going to effectively sit out the old man and let his cousin carry the House of El banner as the Kryptonian paragon of this world? If not, what are the plans to reintroduce the old sport? If they are looking to get Lucas Till as Barry, are they already casting Kara? Where are they on scripts? Supposedly Matt Reeves has been working on this one since 2017 after the post-BvS talk about Affleck backing out of Batman began, after he backed out of directing.
Supposedly Ezra had a darker idea for the movie. With him seemingly out, does WB get to bring in whomever they want to throw together a lighter themed script that they've supposedly eyed since Wonder Woman showed it could work?
All of this is to say, for good and bad, I can very easily see WB doing this. Not only because they clearly want to move on from the Snyder style and baggage, and generate profit as they do, but also because doing this has the same lack of long term planning stink to show that WB learned some lessons, but not all the ones they could and should have, and that makes it believable to me.
He's hot but he's not a good Flash
>DCEU
there is no DCEU
they haven't been doing co-ordination between productions for the past two years
there's only DC movies now, and they'll make sense as a meta-narrative only if the writers and directors bother to watch the movies that already came out
neat, are they gonna finally put a redhead as iris west?
So Supergirl and Batmn for World's Finest?
Sucks for him because he's been doing a lot of cons in Japan and stuff to promote DC even post-JL. Maybe they should send him to the MCU.
>So Supergirl and Batmn for World's Finest
I legitimately don't know.
Clearly there is a new Batman, and he says there is a Supergirl movie that will work alongside it in this theoretical new universe. But what he isn't saying begs as many questions as what he does.
Iris is not a redhead in the comics she has brown hair. Only YJ made her a redhead but YJ changes a lot if shit. Also she's adopted into the West family so clearly not a redhead.
