That was such a stupid fucking name that made zero sense, I understand they wanted to mix both protoman and bass into a single character as not to tie too hard into the games, but they could have at least named him the former to make it have some modicum of sense behind it.

they could have at least gone with Negaman. It fills the same tryhard edgy name convention (Negative-Megaman) and you can even just say he's named that because it's one letter up from megaman and do a dumb joke about a possible older brother, Legaman

I think the flaws could get ironed out if it ever did get a sequel. It's a shame that the game and Inafune are so despised now

Yes, a sequel that deliver what was promised at first it will be okay and ironing out the issues of the first game will redeem it.
Animated art style, and grabbing abilities from all enemies plus the fixing the stuff from the first game people hates. I specially hated how bland the levels looked.

Yes, really. I'm probably one of the few people who likes it unironically tho I'd be lying if I didn't say MM11 is the superior game but it's still not that bad imo.
I think Mn9 had a lot of potential and could use a sequel to improve on it but that's not happening obviously. I've yet to play MGB but I hear it's pretty decent at least from those who don't like the original game.
