>After Rick Grimes is shot dead, his secret black brother Sheriff Kapoor becomes the main character of TWD starting issue 193 (Volume 33) who looks almost exactly like Rick.
How do you all still read this? What the fuck?
The Walking Dead
Is he actually his brother?
What about that other guy in the oneshot from really early on?
He's not black
No
Carl looks so badass in #192
I can't believe Rick became black!?
>secret black brother who looks almost exactly like him
>How do you all still read this?
Most of us don't. I can't speak for everyone, but I gave up right around the time the Whisperers were revealed to be regular people instead of intelligent walkers.
I read it, and this is the biggest event to take place since Negan...and the only thread is this race bait crap.
I really am sick of your shit Yea Forums. Fallen so far.
>secret black brother
>looks almost exactly like Rick
Rick brother is dead though
there was a half-decent thread last night that died. not perfect but better. comic got storytimed and everything
Kapoor is an Indian name. So the new MC for this is Indian
And why can't it be a normal guy who never even held a gun?
Oh a story time and everything? Well thats something at least. Never been a lot of TWD love here from what I can remember but for any longtime fans this is pretty big. OP is faggot supreme though. Might start my own none shit thread and watch it slowly die due to lack of bait. That’le show em!
It's fucking hilariously bad.
yeah Yea Forums doesn't really love TWD all that much, I've seen more genuine appreciation for the comic in Yea Forums threads though when the show is on(which has really gone to shit in the past few seasons, they killed off Carl and Deus ex machina'd Rick off the show so he could be in movies).
A non-shit thread would be nice since this one is just garbage like you said.
>Look what they did to me *burp* Carl! They sh-shot me dead and I came back as a nigger! I'm nigger Rick!
This is a joke. Right? I haven't read since issue 184 and like this has gotta be a joke. This is a joke. Isn't it?
Nope, except I believe they aren't brothers. But yes, Rick dies, this brown guy who looks like current Rick suddenly gets introduced next issue and will be the new MC.
What the fuck? Seriously, what the fuck?
>and will be the new MC.
that isn't confirmed yet
Okay I can take that. Killing Rick is one thing, suddenly replacing him with a race-changed himself would be a whole other thing.
>secret black brother
Lmao at this lib schlock
He is literally the new lead character in the story.
Says who?
What, you saying a brother can't be the protagonist?
>falling for OP's shitposting
Tards
>yfw they use this for the new Iron Man in the MCU
Actual cover for 193.
OP is the faggot to rule them all. Everyone here is an idiot.
Rick only had one brother and he is dead
Issue 123 and 124 synopsis. We are forthe time being dropping Carl and everyone and jumping to this guy.
Then OP image is the cover for 194, retard.
You're the biggest idiot itt.
All 194 says is "Meet Sheriff Kapoor", that's it. By that logic other characters like Negan or Princess became the MCs too.
>rick dead
>carl on suicide on watch
>literally get a lead up chapter (193) before the actual introduction chapter (194)
You have to be extremely delusional at this point.
We love what it used to be and are pissed off by how much it declined. You see a little bit of the same response in Invincible discussions where people lament the decline in quality, but people are generally more forgiving of Invincible because it actually tried to wrap things up and end on a high note when the decline in quality became apparent. As a matter of fact, I'd say TWD needed to end about the same point (issue wise) that Invincible did.
Once Invincible got past Rex's betrayal and Mark and Eve leaving Earth in the 110s and 120s Kirkman seemed to recognize that the general quality of the series was starting to decline and quickly worked to wrap the series up over the next 20-odd issues. We got the long awaited confrontation with Thragg, Mark defeating Rex, taking over as Emperor, and a nice epilogue of Mark working to turn the Viltrumites into a galactic force for good.
The end of the war with the Saviors in the 120s was a chance for TWD to go out on a high note. Do a little epilogue showing how Rick and everyone worked to rebuild and reclaim the region from the dead after the war, done. Instead it continued through a lot of really poorly written arcs and has now killed off its protagonist and replaced him with a diversity hire and shows no signs of wrapping up anytime soon.
The first issue coming after the All-Out War had (newly introduced) Magna on the cover and no mention of the old cast in the synopsis. And yet, I'm pretty sure she just stayed a secondary character since.
Stay in denial then. They wouldn't introduce Rick 2.0 just to do nothing with it.
I don't think Sheriff Kapoor belongs to The Commonwealth. Looks nothing like a Commonwealth soldier but maybe Rick's look and image become so iconic people start to imitate it. I'd much prefer it if Negan somehow discovered some other community and Kapoor either became some kind of antagonist or BFF for him in the same way his relationship with Rick was. Now the question is what kind of community did Negan discover. I think we'll see The Commonwealth again when Pamela FINALLY gets the boot and she turns up at Alexandria seeking sanctuary, how do you think Carl and the others will handle that?
All I'm saying is I can deal with some rando Indian lookin like Rick so long as he's not related to Rick, and Carl/Negan are the main characters
I haven't read this since the TAINTED MEAT shit happened, and honestly nowadays op's bait could've been legit
nigga carl when
