I kinda wish they did more with the little plot thread of Felicia possibly having a kid with Peter. On one hand, it feels entirely in character for Felicia to yank Peter's chain like that, making him believe they had a child together that he didn't know about. On the other hand, it's also in her character for her to lie about having lied, and she's keeping her son hidden away as a means of protection.

I just like the idea of their kid showing up on Peter's doorstep one day, whether it's because Felicia sends him there because he'd be safer than with her, or he goes there on his own because he just wants to get to know his dad, rather than rely on his mom's stories about him.

That, and the idea of Peter becoming a single father, further complicating his already elaborate balancing act of a life appeals to me, and feels true to his character. It'd give him an even bigger push to find a new, well paying job, and also to keep it; not only would he have to provide for himself and a child, but balance his life of crimefighting as Spidey and his social life as Peter Parker on top of that.

Yeah... I can just imagine the dynamic between Peter and his hypothetical kid with Felicia being that of a child raised on Felicia's stories, and Peter struggling to avoid shattering the kid's view of not only him, but his mother as well because let's face it; Felicia is the exact sort of person to spin things in such a way that she's portrayed as a more heroic, selfless individual than she actually is. It'd probably kill Peter and possibly Felicia for their kid to learn the truth, and probably make him lose all faith in his mother.

That, and I can easily imagine a moment where Peter is in-between jobs, and the kid blames himself for Peter's stressful financial situation on account of him inheriting both his father's Spider-Powers and his mom's Bad Luck powers and runs away despite Peter's constant assertions that it is in no way the kid's fault. Naturally, after getting into trouble, Peter, in full costume, rescues his kid and has a real heart-to-heart. leading to them starting to really bond as father and son.

Yeah, I could take or leave some of the science mini-games but I still thought there was a solid balance of characterizing both sides of his life.

I've never heard of Yuri before this game, but I found myself hoping that Peter would hang out with her more when MJ started giving him the cold shoulder.

Peter goes through so much shit on every level of his life, that it was nice to have at least one person at his lowest points still working with him and telling him that he was doing all that he could. MJ was alright by the end, and I appreciate that she apologized too rather than just laying all the mistakes of their relationship on Peter again, but it took a while to get there, and still didn't really do anything exciting with the actual chemistry of their dynamic. Part of me was actually disappointed that MJ wasn't bitten by the spider too at the end. That would have mixed things up.
