Creating a design that "mimics" the trunks could potentially work. Make the legs lightly armored, while the crotch is covered in a more flexible material.

Other than looking a little bloated, the Batfleck suit was really good.
I'd just kinda improve on that basic design. Maybe alter the mask sculpt a little so he looks less like he's always raising his eyebrows. Make the belt golden. Make the bat a little less fat, more like one of the traditional black bat insignias, and less like the TDKR Miller one.
Also, add the trunks.

Same idea as the Batfleck suit. Just less bloated with obvious fake muscled. Make the cowl a headpiece with a more fabric neck to allow for better movement. Have the cape attach to a shoulder piece connected to the neck. Extend the ears & add some fucking white eyes already. Either digitally add them like Deadpool or just have lenses over the eyes. Obviously shrink the bat symbol. Yellow oval or outline optional. Most important part is to add trunks.
