Hank and Tony should have more interactions that Stark and Banner, desu. They should've been retconned as friends or at least frenemies. It makes too much sense and has too much potential to let it go to waste.

I liked Hank in Ults (sans the wife beating). Banner was insufferable. I hope they do that retcon. Angst and war pushed too much makes everything unfun.

Angst isn't the only thing fujos look for in a ship. Also Hank was a married man for a good chunk of his existence. Doom/Reed isn't that popular for a similar reason.

He came back to Earth in Uncanny Avengers, showed up with a piece of a cosmic cube in Secret Empire, then he was in space making aliens into Ultrons in Duggan's GotG and Infinity War.

None of them were terrible but also not great. The Uncanny Avengers appearance is probably worth checking out, though.

But War's awesome user! At least in fiction. It's why I think Pym and Stark should have more interactions. Banner's too far removed from Stark's world with the Radiation business and all the spookiness. Pym's AI stuff fit right in. I'm no fujoshit though, I'm speaking from a storytelling perspective. Pym's got no book, why not add him as a supporting character in Tony's?

The amount of angst a ship generates isn't the sole deciding factor for what someone ships. I know plenty fujos who can't handle it then there's the nu-fujos that are purityfags and harp on about only liking things that they've deemed unproblematic.

As for Steve and Tony they're characters who've been closely tied to and involved in each others stories spanning over decades and multiple universes. They're canonically important to each other. Hell, there's an entire universe where Civil War never happened because Tony was a woman and married Steve.

I'm not Hank Pym dude, he eventually grows to resent his peers for lording his worst moment over him despite their own glaring flaws, and they are hypocrites for condemning him like they do. Pre-Endgame it was easy to ignore Pepper or write off their relationship because it was constantly on and off again. Easy for fujos to slide in their ship during one of those gaps. Even then Stony in general is just too much of a juggernaut and the shippers are resilient, they always find a way.
