user, 3 questions.

1) Is that a Spongebob meme?
2) If is is, what is the meme? I don't get it.
3) If it is not, why did you not post a Spongebob meme if that's what this thread is about?

It was really popular with like 2 and a half generations worth of kids during their formative years, was full of exceedingly quotable dialogue, and ran for over a dozen seasons.
I'd be more surprised if it wasn't memed to hell and back.

It is the equivalent of nowadays's "the penguin of doomxddd"

Spongebob is a normie cartoon in the west = many people know about it = many underage know about it = many underage make shitty joke about it

This makes me miss the nutshack.

Spongebob is one of those things that everyone can enjoy.

This, everyone loves it

You are just nostalgia fags

Airing about 15 hours a day on a channel where bad parents dumped their kids every hours of their life after school, for nearly 20 years.
You don't create a generation of clowns out of thin air.

generation grew up fully on the internet and with spongebob.

It's been on long enough that it's easy to find situations that fit for anything

I don't like it.
I was never a fan of the gross-out hyper-realistic cut-away humor and Spongebob pulled that shit on a regular basis.
I didn't like the main characters at all. Spongebob is largely annoying and causes problems for everyone. Patrick's a dumb, doofy sidekick that has occasional bouts of malice. Sandy never added anything to an episode for me and often was a good indicator that it'd be a snore.

There are good bits in it from time to time, but the overlong musical bits and general slapstick horsing around rubbish just didn't appeal to me. Even as a kid, it felt really dumb/juvenile/homosexual.
