How far would he go in the DC universe?
How far would he go in the DC universe?
Aquaman.
He becomes Earth's newest Green Lantern
Superman is too OP for him
unless he is agood boy it is the phantom zone for him.
Not very.
Shin would probably do a better job
Monsterverse Goji is probably one of the msot heroic instances of the character. So unless there's some severe misunderstanding, Superman would probably leave him be.
Swamp Thing could take him
Animal Man communes with him and he joins the Justice League. They already have Jarro as Batman's newest (and most objectively successful) Robin, Goji is a step up morally speaking.
>He already fucked Marvel up
I mean, radiation is now a way of communing with The One Below All in Marvel now such that Thor now thinks the Hulk has godlike powers. No shit radiation lizard fucked Marvel up, he's basically armageddon incarnate with all that gamma.
Swamp Thing would befriend him since in DC radiation isn't some gateway to Hell
Swamp Thing and Goji wouldn't fight. Especially since Titans are a net boon to the environment.
He would join the Justice League
>Goji and Swampy fight, and Goji injures Swampy badly with his radioactive breath
>The fight ends because suddenly Swampy screams "SAVE MOTHRA!!"
Also the Justice League needs a special waiting where all the really weird members like Nabu and Spectre and Phantom Stranger and now Goji can just hang out while whoever does all the paperwork in the League tries to figure out how the hell to process their personal information
Are the Marvel Godzilla comics good?
The Justice League fights him and either
A. They defeat him but he comes back anyway
B. They come to a standstill and eventually "team up" against a greater threat (Anti-Life Destroyah? Jokerized Ghiorah? Jet Jaguar with the gun that killed Batman's parents?)
It ends with Batman funding the construction of Monster Island, a place where Godzilla can roam free without becoming a metaphor for the Atom Bomb
Isn't the Fleischer Superman short actually the inspiration for Godzilla?
What's the most powerful incarnation of Godzilla across all media?
Probably In Hell Goji. Fucker blew up the planet, went to Heaven and spat in the face of Kaiju God, and fucking nuked Satan.
Not very far. The dials meme is a meme for a reason.
DC is leagues above Marvel in terms of power and scale.
Goji would only last until a powerhouse arrives.6
he killed god and the devil
so at least an upper A, lower s tier
He'd probably join up with Titano and rob banks
The Red abandons Buddy and tries to make Godzilla its new avatar only for Godzilla to blow the Red the fuck out
>Godzilla following Dr. Manhattan around like a dog when you bring in fast food.
no no, Godzilla and Atomic Skull, buddy cops
no but i think the 226k people that died in nagasaki and hiroshima were though
He'd do pretty well.
He's literally a representation of nature given form, and thus would likely have control over the Blue and Red.
There's also the fact that, no matter what, it's impossible to truly "get rid" of Godzilla. Kill him with the Oxygen Destroyer? Another, stronger, bigger Godzilla shows up and you also create a monster so powerful it's a living extinction event. Throw him into a black hole? He'll just come out, really pissed off. Watch him die from the meltdown of his energy? Another Godzilla will just form from the rubble. Blow up the Earth? He'll literally tear his way through Hell just to be alive again. Blow up the eggs of his lookalike and then kill it with a shitton of missiles? Turns out you missed the one egg remaining. The only real way to subdue Godzilla is to temporarily incapacitate him, and even then, it's only temporary.
No, it was the Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, this is well documented
He means the monster design, doofus
>The fight ends because suddenly Swampy screams "SAVE MOTHRA!!"
That's a very clever and sublime joke, did you come up with it yourself?
Huh, I'm sure I heard somewhere over the years that the short was the inspiration. Guess not though.
This. I'm pretty sure Aquaman could tame him, simply convince him to go back to sleep or worst case scenario give him a terrible stroke. In any case it would barely be a confrontation.
You mean the one that was visibly harmed by modern weaponry, when most iterations of Godzilla can't even be scratched by future tech?
If it were Netflix Godzilla, I'm pretty sure Swamp Thing could just take control of him, since he's a plant.
As good as he did in Marvel
Netflix Godzilla was also presented as some kind of avatar of the planet. In such a crossover it would probably be higher ranking on The Green's totem pole than most incarnations of Swamp Thing
Earth was implied to literally be an avatar of general dominance of life. Basically everything on the planet at the time of the anime trilogy was derived from it. It would completely BTFO Swamp Thing with ease, and owuld likely get the Green siding with it.
The Red
Not far.
Clark has beaten similar numerous times, including a number of them. Ditto Arthur, as someone else pointed out - although if it was an issue where his telepathy didn't work (doubtful based on the movie and early canon), the radiation might effect Arthur after a short while. Likewise, Diana took on a huge "ancient evil" mythological dragon on her lonesome and she's durable enough to fight off radiation unless it was extensive and of long duration.
There are many more.
Godzilla Earth would probably be the more enduring matchup.
Shin is one of the weakest iterations though. Did we watch the same movie? He can shoot a few extra cool lasers but that doesn't mean he's strong.
A Godzilla that eats Godzillas for breakfast.
The point of shin was that he was ever evolving at an extreme rate to combat any threats. Had he not been defeated in the manner he was, he would have released an army of human sized Godzilla monsters from his tail to wipe people out.
That doesn't mean he's strong or durable though. That's all my point was. He can slowly adapt to whatever he's facing but the humanoid Godzilla creatures probably still could've been taken out with conventional weapons.
>and fucking nuked Satan.
Wasn't that Yog Soggoth?
>inb4 same difference
