"Oxygen destroyer" is such a retarded name for a bigass bomb. Especially when the titans basically don't give a shit about breathing or eating for millenia so burning up all the oxygen doesn't really do anything for destructive power. If it actually separated out all the oxygen in the water from the hydrogen and then burned both up at the same time or something, that might make more sense but it's just some lameass incendiary bomb that's totally not a nuke.

In the shitty 1998 one they had a 'twist' where Godzilla was actually female and laid eggs in the New York subway (or maybe it was a baseball park, my memory of that movie is pretty hazy) but its pretty much been declared officially noncanon.

I've heard Godzilla has laid eggs outside of that movie but I haven't seen every single Toho movie so someone else will have to field the question outside of that one specific instance, since its the only I can recall.

I think those are the only two instances of Juvenile of Godzilla’s species, and both cases Godzilla is definitely male. Millennium Godzilla is probably male too.

Moths are cute creatures really, it's easy to see them as cute stylish girls.

It's one of the more confounding issues with the 98 plot, actually. They don't even try to justify it with asexual reproduction, or imply that there's another one of these things out there that it got busy with before the film occurs. They just go 'oh fuck it laid eggs' and that's it.

In all reality, it was probably due to the popularity of Jurassic Park. 98 Godzilla took a lot from JP, since the sequel had released the year before. Eggs as a plot twist always featured as an important function of JP plots so they probably did it because Jurassic Park did it.

Well, the film starts with a bunch of lizards crawling around while the nukes went off around them. That's why the "oh it was pregnant before the movie started" could be an explanation but it still doesn't explain how the pregnancy could last through the transformation process.

You're going to have a lot of fun. The series really cares about trying to be a fun monster hunting show and they get very creative with some of their "mutation" designs. Being animated by Adelaide Productions also lends the monsters a wonderful tactile quality.
