This team is based around a relaunch of the Uncanny X-Force as a branch of Emma Frost's Hellfire Club, which takes a hard-line stance in the defense of mutants and influences the well-being of the mutant population through typical UXF black ops shit as well as using the Hellfire Club's resources to pull strings behind the scenes. Very much a combination of the Illuminati and the UXF. Emma's obviously in charge, Mystique, M and Fantomex are pre-existing members, Sunspot gets brought in by Emma to be the conscience and because of his presiding over AIM and Psylocke and Namor are brought in for muscle and because Emma trusts them both.
