As some of you may know, /x/ is freaking the fuck out thinking the government is announcing the existence of UFOs. In reality it's a marketing gimmick by a documentary maker but they haven't figured that out yet. Either way considering the hype, I feel like I should story time this comic, Saucer Country. It is by far the best UFO/Grey Alien comic book ever created. The writer knows his stuff about UFO mythology and not only is it entertaining, it is a great educational piece for those who aren't into /x/ shit.
I personally find the UFO mythos to be the most amazing work of mythology in the last 100 years. While I personally don't believe in UFOs, the fact that an entire coherent mythos exists of it is fascinating. Unlike say, most fantasy settings which were intentionally created, the UFO mythology was a belief that evolved and spread based on the actual beliefs of the UFO believers. To them they aren't "adding" stuff to the mythology, they are discovering stuff. The boring stuff get's forgotten and the interesting stuff stays. Over the last few decades UFOs incorporated multiple different alien species, each with different motives, a complete abduction procedure which differs per species, government cover ups, ect which are all for the most part logically consistent.

A Documentary is claiming that it has evidence of aliens with interviews from former US officials that say UFOs are a big deal. The media has a ton of articles about how "US officials say UFOs are real" but in reality as far as we know it's just a guy promoting his upcoming documentary. We have no idea how much evidence he has actually collected if any at all or the circumstances of the interviews.
