Clone Wars episode tries to make you believe any character that appears in/after episode 3 is in mortal danger
>dark crystal prequel
>has three gelflings
>Clone wars awkwardly making sure Anakin never meets Grievous despite him showing up every other week
It was like Scully and aliens in the first few seasons of X-Files
I had to quit Clone Wars after the movie and first season (WANTED to quit after the movie; that thing was such shit) because of this. Everyone says "Naw bro, Clone Wars gets good around season 4, you just have to stick it out through the 60 bad episodes to get there!"
Fuck that.
You should've watched them in chronological order instead of production and release order then.
And the "movie" is just four episodes clumsily welded together for promotional purposes.
It gets good as soon as the rookies show up, if you didn't enjoy that episode than you have a terminal case of shit taste.
critically bad taste
I never realized this, i swore anakin and grevious met each other in it at some point
Clone Wars is the high point of storytelling in Star Wars. The movies are just dumb blockbusters compared to what went down on Umbara.
Holy neckbeard.
>Umbara
Except that was reduced to childish shit too
Instead of having an actual dilemma with a commander who doesn't give a shit about the lives of his men, they make him into a comically evil bad guy.
>Episode 3 is being made
>George Lucas makes an offhand line from Anakin about how surprising General Grievous's appearance is
>This means two of the most busy and public generals on both sides of the Clone Wars have never met each other until that point
>Dave Filoni has to write around that face for four seasons
Formally Attack of the Clones
Why dont the separatists just bomb Kamino?
they invaded it, don't you remember?
besides, they cant destroy it since palpy and dooku needed it for order 66. no clones, no jedi massacre.
That is the problem with all prequels. You already know what is going to happen.
No side gained any sort of war-winning advantage because of Sidious playing both sides.
>obi-wan rushes into a room with an enemy ruler and 2 droids
>lifts and crushes the droids with his mind
>"fool, this was a trap!"
>two more of the same droids appear
>Obi-wan gives up
I saw the movie in theaters.
It was so absofuckinglutely terrible, I never watched the TV series.
Yeah that one arc they never finished literally had him chasing both him and Obi down but Anakin piloting so he never sees him
The movie is a hackjob of the series pilot. The show is and gets better
>The Jedi are made to look like complete blind retards every time an arc shows up where sheevs plan slowly starts to unravel and it becomes obvious something’s not right when characters are literally screaming the truth in their face
For any other dumbos in the thread who want in as well.
Teth battle was fun though
It was already like that in the movie
>So these are Clones of Jango
>Yep
>And Jango works for Count Dooku
>Yep
>And they were ordered by a dead guy who somehow manage to keep paying
>Yep
>Ok sounds great! We'll trust them completely.
Any show where this much of it is skippable cannot by definition be a good show. Good episodes though.
