I still wish we could've gotten a bittersweet ending of Dipper staying and Mabel going home. Dipper was in his element with the weird wilderness and got to overcome a lot of personal issues and made a real connection with Stanford as a mentor/mentee relationship while on the flipside Mabel only made friends in Gravity Falls abd had no huge attachment that would probably make her feel incomplete away from the place.
