How would Ajimu fare in the DCU?

How would Ajimu fare in the DCU?

I still do not understand how she lost in-universe.

Goddamn Medaka was a brainhax.

what show is this?

Bad, too many protagonists. Anyone can beat her as long as they are the title character.

>I still do not understand how she lost in-universe.
Because the hero always beats the bad guy. She 'lost' because no matter what she did, she knew that it's truly impossible to actually beat Medaka due to her nature as the protagonist.

It's less "beat" and more "make her give up." They can't really harm her, but she'll just realize that there's no point in fighting them.

Medaka Box.

But protags don't always beat the bad guy and was she even bad guy?

If I recall, she was going to completely change the story to something more preferable to her, and she's always been pretty nasty (having used Kumagawa as a tool to do her work). She's pretty villainous, but she doesn't display it much because people like Medaka exist which essentially prevent her from ever truly doing what she wants.

Isn't kumagawa an asshole?

Honestly I dont know but this is my rant on meta shit at this level, I dont think meta shit works well when they go to the level of ajimu, cause she allegedly has like 14 tetrillion powers and can cause powers that fuck with narrative causality to appear yet she still loses, basically they went too meta, its kinda like whenever a writer goes 'this guy is above infinity and can get into the real world' and it always falls flat cause after a certain point it just becomes them saying a bunch of shit that's just random words for hype

Completely and utterly. It's somewhat mitigated by the universe always fucking him over somehow. Somewhat.

The whole point of Medaka Box really is to parody the insane power escalation in both western comics and manga. It's so immensely meta because that's an intentional part of it.

This reflects on pretty much all of its characters, who are ridiculously overpowered to the point they make 99% of capeshit look tame, but they either always lose due to some 'flaw' of theirs (Kumagawa), or a bigger fish shows up and pushes their shit in (Ajimu and Iihiko).

Stop making these threads. You have 5+ anime boards. Go squeeze them out there.

Nah.

As for the protag thing, Ajimu doesnt view things as a "victory" because Medaka will always be the one the story revolves around no matter what. Even in a world where the villains win, she'd STILL be the one whom everything centres about.

Ajimu could come into the DCU and fuck up basically all of its defenders, but she'd give up inevitably because she'd come to the conclusion that even when she wins, it won't really count since the story will still involve and focus on Superman.

Bump.

Then it went full shonen itself

It's always had crazy powerlevels. Medaka herself is basically an Exalted, but better.

Idk man, she'd probably fall in love with the Martian Manhunter I guess.

>Martian Manhunter
>Not Booster Gold
