Iconic

Iconic.

God, I miss this show.

used to watch this as a kid it was fucking sick

Outside Batman vs TMNT. This was probably the most violent the ninja turtles will get in a cartoon

We'll never have a ninja turtles cartoon series like this again. It hurts.

We did not know how good we had it back then.

2002-2005 was that lovely sweet spot between feeling like the 90s were really over (which for me was 9/11) and the social media/smartphone shit that seeped into American culture in 2005 or so

Also pic related may have awakened some fetishes.

I jerked off so much to aprils belly

I remember how this got away with some edgy shit despite being on 4Kids

>I remember how this got away with some edgy shit despite being on 4Kids

I feel like this show was the last one to really be able to do all this before the culture war restarted in media aimed at kids.

>I jerked off so much to aprils belly

Do tell.

Her design has different strengths but it rivals the '87 version in some ways.

Who played the Konami handheld games?

It was the one fucking kids show where the bad guys actually had a personality

Also apparently I like mixed girls with pink hair if Angel is anything to go by

>It was the one fucking kids show where the bad guys actually had a personality

Being Stockman was suffering

I liked that it tried to keep Stockman to his "I'm intelligent, you're all idiots" thing he had in volume 1 of the comic.

He still had the need to prove he was superior. It wasn't so much he was suffering but rather he caused his own suffering 99% of the time by letting his ego feed the rage of others

If he had been more respectful to Ch'rell and Hun in particular his fate would have been different overall.

Hun is just dumb muscle and outside of Hun on the Run, he was never shown as anything other than dumb muscle that was used to keep the street gangs in line. Baxter was always jealous that someone so stupid was so useful to Shredder.

Ch'rell is a different story - both of them wanted to kill the turtles but for different reasons. There's also the fact that from day one Baxter was planning on killing Shredder anyway so it's pretty much his own fault.

The most kino episode coming through.

>everyone fucking dies

Of course not, it wasn't perfect but it was basically Mirage TMNT for kids and Laird worked on it.

And it's a 4kids production.

Stop it user my hopes were already dead

>violent
Nick Turtles are more violent than 2k3

I preferred the Nick turtles to the 2k3.

Because of reasons?

Is this zoomer shit taste or pizza turtles boomer shit taste?

The contrast between 2003 and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Zoomer Turtles is wholly indicative of the decline of TV animation.

>and the social media/smartphone shit that seeped into American culture in 2005 or so
That's also around when Early Gen Z/Zoomer-oriented childhood culture and Web 2.0 began. Coincidence?

I liked the turtles better in and like the blend of comedy and action. You prefer the 2k3 titles that’s fine. Also I really like shredder and splinter in nick turtles.

Splinter impaled on screen 2 times, stomping his leg, Leatherhead chewing Shredder, slicing Shredder's head 2 times with proper sound (not sword clash) and overal amount of gross shit is higher in Nick turtles than 2k3 with most of the time being just flash in black screen.
>zoomer
>boomer
Get out

dude did you see the mutagen man episodes

nick turtles had fucking severed spines and shit

Come back when you have a huge dude threatening to murder a 12 year old girl.

Or when it shows him burning down a fucking shop with a man inside it trapped

Nick is literally Saturday morning "violence".
