SU really is not that, though. It uses action merely as a vehicle for the interpersonal social conflicts that fuel its narrative.
Cape show often use action sequences to resolve conflicts.
SU makes it very clear that violence does not at all resolve the conflict. Resolution always results from a verbal exchange and honest introspection.
And it's driving people up the walls because they want the show to resolve conflict through violent means, which it stubbornly refuses to do.
