I don't think I've watched it since it came out, but I remember liking it well enough despite some odd choices like everything involving Bruce's dad, and the Hulk Dogs.

It was mostly alright. The dog fight was weird, and the ending was a disappointing deus ex machina.

Same. I watched it in theatres, and don't remember liking it enough to watch it twice. Same for the Edward Norton Hulk movie. Pretty sure Thor Ragnarok is the best Hulk movie we're ever going to get.

Nick Nolte was the only person in this movie who did any acting. Everyone else was asleep

I want that Hulk to hug me against his huge hyper-masculine muscles.

I didn't like him when he was Ang Lee

He was the only good thing about the movie.

I liked that they tried to do a more psychological take on Hulk, since he is more than just smashing stuff.

Shitty adaptation and also not as brilliant or thoughtful as contrarians think

He looks like barafag shit, not creepy enough.

Movie was 'okay' though.

same actually, I remember liking it. I liked the dogs. I feel like the movie gets shit on all the time, but I didn't think the Ed Norton one was much better.
Nick Nolte biting into an electrical cable was hilarious

I remember liking the parts where the Hulk actually fought the Army. Felt very Hulk like. Not a fan of the boring in between parts. Also absorbing man father was dumb.

>. I feel like the movie gets shit on all the time,
I think that's because at the same time we had the Raimi Spider-Man stuff and Singer X-Men stuff which was and still is excellent . Hulk, like Fantastic Four, just kind of got lost in it all

>Raimi Spider-Man
>was and still is excellent

So many split screens that it looked like a badly designed website.

Spider-Man 2 is arguably in the top 5 superhero movies ever made.

Everything except the stupid growing part was cool.

>Raimi Spider-Man
>was and still is excellent
The fuck? Have you seen those movies? Better question, have you seen those movies when you weren't a child?

I watched them in theatres, I've watched them many times since. But thanks for asking.

why is Spiderman a white guy?

has the greatest worst editing ever

What pisses me off is we barely got the 'Hulk smash' version of Hulk. To me the child-like Hulk who talks in the third person is the iconic version of the character. I guess someone in Hollywood decided that would be too goofy or something. I think Hulk might have said a couple of words like that in a dream sequence in Ang Lee's one or something, I don't remember, but he's basically been mute in all the movies until they skipped ahead to Professor Hulk.

This

>Hulk, like Fantastic Four, just kind of got lost in it all

the first fantastic four movie did pretty well. it just kind of under-performed with the sequel

I think they got the VA from the 90s cartoon to say HULK SMASH in the 2008 movie. I mean it's uncanny how similar the voice is to the animated version.

>33 years old.
>have always believed that the Raimi films were best watched as comedies
>WORST Aunt May by far
>Kirsten Dunst is a glorified scream queen.
>Tobey Macguire can't convincingly play Peter or his Spider-man persona. More awkward to watch than characteristically awkward.
>everybody elae holds them on some pedastel of filmmaking in spite of how Goddamn awkward these movie's are because "they had heart"

Doc Ock and the train scene were pretty cool, though.

Hulk is literally always a shit garbage character, so I was apathetic towards him like anyone with taste is

>Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane
WORST MOVIE EVER.

I thought it was gorgeous. Particularly the scenes where the Hulk was going through the desert. He's so strong he can't run full tilt because he will kick himself free of the earth.

It was a really effective way of conveying just how much raw physical power the Hulk had.

Basically it's not perfect, but the things it did well, it did well enough that I still have some affection for it.

Did we watch the same movie?

I liked the comic panelling desu

But it looks like shit and feels like the director was having a seizure. Spider-Verse is how you translate comic action to film the right way.

Haven't seen it in years. I remember liking it when i saw it in the cinema as a kid until the halfway point where i got really bored and fell asleep

Eons ahead of Norton's film. Some odd choices, for sure, but that's Lee. The final fight with Absorbing Man is absolute kino and I have not seen a fight scene in a capeshit movie like it since.

>audiences didn't like Ang Lee's Hulk
>Marvel takes a mulligan
>they (along with Universal) make basically the same goddamn movie as the one nobody liked
and somehow the effects look even cheaper
Hulk isn't a great or even a very good movie but it feels like someone cared at least.

Same with me but I remembered feeling disappointed about the ending.

nobody respects that one even in the world of comics

That's pretty angry

The Lou Ferrigno cameo was the best part.

Spidey 1 is better than 2. Defoe is better than molina. Spidey 1 had "Hero" as its theme which is infinitely better than spidey 2's "vindicated". Spidey being able to turn off his powers was a very stupid plot point in 2. Screaming women all over the place in part 2 was annoying. Stupid black chick saying " Izzzz Webbbb" was cringe, that shitty tribute to evil dead was pointless.
Part 2 is so fucking shit in comparison to 1 its hilarious.
