No.

even as a miller apologist no it's very bad

What's wrong with it?

If you're either a massive raist, like cringe reads and/or are drunk then definitely

...

It is better than most comics on the stands nowadays.

It has some nice art on some pages, but its a shit comic.

The panel transitions are some of Miller's best, but even if you like Miller's gritty art style, it's some of his least consistent im this. Sure the characters in DKR have disproportionate limbs and shit, but it's consistently disproportionate, all the body parts are clearly connected to the owner. Holy terror is all over the place and
Has a shit story even with racism that could make /pol/ cringe at times.

It's just ok. Retards to the left will cry about racism, there is none. Retards to the right will claim the story is a relevant, it ain't. Bottom line is that is a "meh" tier action story. I enjoyed it but when I put it down, I was done. In my collection but I'm not itching to read it anytime soon.

It's fucking great.

big if true

Getting a lot of conflicting opinions on this one

It doesn't really matter if it's worth a read. What matters is that there are so many things MORE worth reading. I recommend Boxers & Saints by Gene Yang.

If you want to know why Batman changed drastically between Year One and All Star Batman and Robin, that's the book you read but pretend that it is supposed to be Batman, Catwoman, and Gordon in the obvious roles they were intended to be.

I always found it hilarious so sure, I recommend it.

Is this a genuinely racist book or is it just racist by today's ultra-PC standards?

It's a very disjointed work with occasional flashes of artistic aplomb.

It's pretty great.

>killing terrorists is "raysis"

Miller is the best writer in the history of comics, but Holy Terror, Dark Knight Strikes Again, and All Star Batman are his worst works and I wouldn't consider any of them worth reading.

It's not racist at all. NOT-Batman goes to the middle east and kill terrorists. That's it. It was meant to be a 21st century version of old 40s comics where superheroes would punch hitler. The modern version of that is bin laden and other mass-murdering terrorist leaders, so Miller had NOT-Batman punch them instead. It's not fucking complicated. Only sjw faggots who think that "terrorists are the real victims and are actually freedom fighters" would have any complaints about Holy Terror's content.

That said, the writing is absolutely TERRIBLE. Don't bother reading it. It's fucking garbage. Not "racist", just poorly written.

If I were to baptize Muslims, I'd tie a rock on their necks and cast them under the river while saying "I baptize you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior"... And I still wouldn't read this piece of garbage.

i'm incredibly racist and even i thought it was trash

It's not his best work, but its still enjoyable if you don't consider terrorists to be some kind of "protected class".
