The problem is those mainstream crossover topics (like vidya and movies/tv) attract more and more idiots that dont read comics but think they are LE SO NERDY because they watch MCU movies. I moved from Yea Forums to Yea Forums after e-celeb and twitter shit took over the entire board. Unlike Yea Forums, these kind of threads aren't popular here and get deleted quicker.
One thing I like of Yea Forums is that cute boys threads get more replies and last longer than in Yea Forums. Too bad Yea Forums boys aren't as cute as Yea Forums boys.

Yea Forums is the most active board, surpasing /pol/ by a couple of thousands of posts. /pol/ only surpasses Yea Forums when something important is happening (and sometimes it's not enough to surpass it).

Is it though? This might be anecdotal, but I know a lot of people who invest time into Attack on titan, one punch man, and dragon ball. The only CURRENT cartoon I've heard out in the wild is Steven universe. There's simply way more new anime out and coming out than there is new cartoons.
