Except now we're back to him being broke. I wasn't the biggest fan of Parker Industries because Peter was written as extremely irresponsible and incompetent with it, but it was a good change of pace. Having it gone the way it went is just embarrassing for the character though.

Yeah it's pretty much that ngl. Kept up with Scarlet Spider but Spider-Geddon and the majority of Slott's run of ASM beyond Clone Conspiracy I avoided like the plague. Good thing too considering

Just read Spencer's run and Zdarsky's Spectacular. There was even a storytime of ASM in the last couple of days. Spectacular has a bit of a slow start, but turns into perhaps the best Spider-Man book in years and ASM is fun with Spencer playing to his strenghts on top of a whole heap of "Fuck Slott". Kraven's Last Last Hunt overstayed its welcome for me, but otherwise, it's Sandman compared to what we were used to on the title in the last decade.

I would if it weren't for my crippling anxiety of how shit it might be after Slott. I know you say it's better, but Slott's run was a literal bad apple for the Spider-Man bunch. I'm talking Venom, Venom Corps, Venomverse, Carnage, Silk, everything. It got me sick once and now I'm wary.

Other than Peter having to go back to college because of Otto and some shit, how much stuff from Slott's ASM is acknowledged in Spencer's run? Because I'd rather pretend it didn't exist. I know he and Felicia made up, but even that is stupid because it never should have happened in the first place.
