It was designed to offend everyone and boy oh boy did it succeeed. The right AND left are both fucking seething over it
Was it trying to be?
>ha ha hahah yoghurt!
Honestly that was the only one I hated
No, is Love, Death and Robots if you want the Twilight Zone watch the Twilight Zone, retard
This and the Alternate Histories one were pretty weak
what offended the left/right havent seen all of them
>Controversial opinion
The only worthwhile shorts we're 3 Robots and Lucky 13.
Everything else either ranged between meh/boring/predictable to just plain annoying. Didn't help most the shorts put in gore and sex just for the sake of it.
that one I skipped after the 2nd/3rd death
Yoghurt I actually watched, waiting for an actual punchline
Fucking this, some assholes got trigered over rape victims having revenge (even thought..the plot of sonnie's edge isn't the best) while feminists shat themselves with anger over REEE MALE GAZE.
But yeah, for all the visuals it had, the shorts are pretty mediocre
I did enjoy the rednecks in mechsuits fighting giant bugs.
It was predictable, but well-done despite that.
have you actually watched the twilight zone? this comparison doesn't make any sense and no one is making it
>Lucky 13.
That one was generic as shit that I slept watched it.
Yup I enjoyed it, only problem was it just felt like A really long into to a game.
This isn't co you braindead Netflix shill
That's not controversial at all, I would say 3 robots was mostly okay (apart from that super le epic burn against le theists and the unnecesary cursing) Good hunting was pretty fucking good and lucky 13 was the best out of them all
It's literally just an edgier Heavy Metal. Fucking kill yourself Yea Forums.
Twilight Premiered in a pre vietnam, pre moonlanding world. Kennedy was killed halfway through the show's lifespan. The world it was made for is as alien as anything shown in Love/Death/robots
>apart from that super le epic burn against le theists and the unnecesary cursing),
This actually pissed me off because the joke in itself was pretty fucking good, of course the robots would say that because they don't know shit about shit, then they massacre the joke with "ha just kidding, they came from a premordial ooze"
As for the cursing and nudity, the series tries so goddamed hard to feel like "adult" media that it's cringy
Also the witness was super good except for the unpleasant animation
That’s black mirror
It's absolutely timeless, which can't be said about woke sci-fi
>animation isn't Yea Forums
>>DUDE WHAT IF THE TWILIGHT ZONE WAS THE WOKEST THING EVER
Isn't that just the new Twilight Zone?
the ones with the robots touring post apocalyptic earth and the pool robot one were kino
Netflix fucking wishes. The whole thing came and went with a resounding "meh."
Most of the shorts were just boring or predictable, while a few ruined good premises, and three were decent
Still better than the Twilight Zone reboot.
came here to post this.
>DUDE WHAT IF THE TWILIGHT ZONE WAS THE WOKEST THING EVER
The sad irony is that the new Twilight Zone reboot is actually the wokest thing ever

I'm not even going to make a cringe collection joke. This is peak autism. The Lola Bunny room guy was more stable.
Gentlemen, you can't discuss cartoons in here! This is the comic and cartoons board!
It was a better Heavy Metal adaptation than Heavy Metal 2000 at least.
>Special Forces with magic powers hunt werewolves in Afghanistan
>they are actually just werewolves too
>basically furfaggotry
That one was so garbage for how cool the description made it sound
i thought it was an ok set of shorts from different studios pulled together in a big showcase, why /pol/tards mad?
It was okay. People in lucky 13 and the spaceship one were almost photoreal at times.
The series is notable, because there aren't many like it. I'm happy it exists and hope it will encourage more adult animation.
It tries way to hard ro be unique when it's the most predictable and bland shit I've seen
>WOKEST
Yeah, that's why SJWs hated it, right? Retard.
BRAVE
>OI WOT IF YER MISSUS WERE A SPIDER? FUKKEN MENTAL IN IT?
you're dumb.
>"Why don't you smile durr hurr"
This never happens. Like guys spreading their legs so wide they take up two subway seats.
Here have some Captain Sternn.
>what offended the left
Several stories featuring rape as a plot point, including one where the rape claim was false and only used for distraction and intimidation.
>what offended the right
Several stories featuring women killing men, including one that has a rather heavy-handed anti-colonialism plot.
Honestly though, it was just a few small groups of zealots on either side getting mad over fucking nothing. Both OP and the guy you're quoting are retards. Some of the shorts are great, some are garbage, and most are somewhere in between. It's nothing mindblowing, but still worth checking out even if it's just to see a bunch of different animation studios flexing their GCI muscles.
Most of them were pretty good actually. Zima Blue and Beyond Aquila Rift were both excellent, Suits and Blindspot were comfy and af, and Lucky 13 and Helping Hand are both criminally underrated imo, etc etc
Alternate Histories and Ice Age were, objectively, the weakest of the bunch, with The Dump and Shape-Shifters not far behind... but I think the real problem is almost everybody watched Sonnie's Edge first which, while not horrible, is far and away the most obnoxiously "woke" of the bunch - shoving that cringey shit in your face during the last few minutes, and this turned people off of watching the others or giving them a fair shot.
>The only worthwhile shorts we're 3 Robots and Lucky 13.
3 Robots was charming, but the writing was very poor and it ended on a lame joke. Lucky 13 had great animation, but was otherwise the most bland and predictable story of the bunch.
For various reasons, I'd rate Zima Blue, The Secret War, The Witness and even Suits over those two, even though Suits seemed like it was literally just pitch for some kind of Starcraft spinoff game. Blindspot was neat as well even though, again, it was extremely generic.
>the most bland and predictable story of the bunch
I dunno, I appreciated that it didn't go for the obvious "the ship was conscious all along" shtick which would have been the obvious angle and instead left it as more ambiguous.
I think anyone who's ever had a car, bike, or other vehicle that they've developed an emotional connection to can see a lot of that kind of experience in Lucky 13.
>Alternate Histories and Ice Age were, objectively, the weakest of the bunch
While those two were indeed bad, I'd say The Yoghurt is still worse.
>Sonnie's Edge [...] is far and away the most obnoxiously "woke" of the bunch
I think you and almost everyone else who got mad at Sonnie's Edge failed to understand the plot twist. Which isn't entirely your fault since it's not explained quite as well as in the story it was based on, but still. The whole "rape victim takes violent revenge on men" angle is just a story she made up in order to look like a crazy bitch and intimidate her opponents. In reality she's scared as fuck because the only way to maintain her new body is by winning the fights, but unlike her opponents she only has one body to risk. It's the adrenaline and fear of dying that's Sonnie's titular "Edge," not the fake "I just want to kill men" story.
Also if there's one short that can be described as "obnoxiously woke" it's Good Hunting, not Sonnie's Edge.
It was so retarded that everyone mistreated the werewolves, they would be the top guys around in an army
of course feminists writers know jack shit about that
Do we all agree that one of the best shorts was the 3 robots one because it was charismatic and fun?
What was the point of the desert ocean episode ending with the younger salesman getting killed by a ghost Megaladon? Before that it was comfy.
I feel like they greenlit those a bit too easily, the "+ robot" shouldn't have been optional. It should have been easy enough to follow.
3 robots was great until the hyper intelligent cats ending, didn't fit the humor at all.
Speaking of Beyond the aquila rift, if "greta" was good why was the guy starving in the real world?
While I don't like the last act of Good Hunting, I'm willing to forgive a lot for setting up a very interesting universe even if it doesn't fully capitalize on it.
You just liked succubus tities
What said.
I can forgive it some of the annoying inconsistencies (like the robots apparently being able to just download whatever information they need, but still not knowing the most basic shit about anything they come across), and some of the jokes that don't quite land, but the ending just felt really pointless and out of place. Like they couldn't think of a good ending or punchline and just crammed in an entirely unrelated joke instead.
I don't think he was starving, just atrophied as fuck from spending half of eternity in cryosleep.
What's wrong with demon girl becoming a cyborg vigilante?
Something about not getting caught up in a fantasy maybe? I dunno, I'm not sure if it had a point besides being pretty.
Honestly the first part of sonnies edge was the worst part, the random antagonizing of the crimelord hosting the fights like he couldn’t just have them killed was dumb as hell, also the rape plot added when originally she just got in a car crash
Seriously, plus the co encouraging it
Isn't this the point of anthology shows in general? I'm fairly certain I don't like all of Twilight Zone, but it doesn't matter, I can cherry pick it because it's something different every time.
The dude turning her into a full body steamborg for sex was so retarded I couldn’t help from laughing out loud
Based.
How much was this funded by the US military?
>also the rape plot added when originally she just got in a car crash
Again, you don't seem to understand the twist at all. The rape was in the original story as well, that's not the twist. The point is that it's a fake story. The rape never happened, it's just her way of hiding her main weakness as well as trying to intimidate the gangsters before the fight. She literally explains all of it in the end.
What the hell
I didn’t get offended at literally anything in LD&R
Sonnie’s edge just kind of felt like some lesbian’s power fantasy, honestly. It suddenly turned into such heavy handed Yuri I could only think, “Hey, have I seen this on Wattpad?”
Maybe I can see how Sonnie’s Edge offends you, even if that makes you a pussy. But how on earth do you get offended by literally any of the other ones?
Only good one was the one where those two salesmen were stranded in the desert.
>wokest
Considering that the only short involving the UQ military portrayed them in a negative light, none of it.
In the show it happened still, she just says it isn’t her main reason, you didn’t understand
>In the show it happened still
No it didn't. The only thing that's different is that she doesn't explicitly say it was a car crash.
Stop being mad over nothing.
She says the rapists beat her so bad she had to get cyberized
The only ones I really didn't like were yogurt, ice age, and alternate histories.
A lot of the episodes were just plain forgettable.
I'd have liked Aquila rift more if not for the obnoxiously long sex scene.
THAT'S THE COVER STORY YOU UNBELIEVABLE DUNCE. She didn't get beaten, she didn't get cyberized, that's what she wants everyone to believe. She literally had her mind transplanted into the monster because the rest of her got pulped in the crash. The "cyberized" version of her is just a remote-controlled drone used for the same reason as the rape story: To keep anyone from figuring out the truth.
Jesus Christ, did you even watch the episode at all or are you only here to shitpost?
Why can’t you fucking faggots just enjoy shit? Non stop cynical shit 24/7 it’s gets stale after a while
Thats what she tells the dude right before she kills him, what part aren’t you getting? She tells them she doesn’t fight because she was raped, I understand the twist, but she still says the rape happened
I enjoyed it
Wanna talk about shorts you enjoyed? Tell us about your favorite one
Most of them aren’t very good even if you ignore the politics
Uh oh, we got a fiesty Christy!
I enjoyed mostly all of them except the yogurt one, the junkyard one, the fish shit one.
Really liked the secret war episode, got a big nazi zombies vibe from it.
Don’t know why everyone shits on blind spot, gave me the feeling of watching a Saturday morning cartoon, would love to see that get more episodes
The Secret War is easily the most underrated one in the bunch. Maybe because it was the last one.
There are politics in like 2 of them stop tilting at windmills shithead. Though I agree most of them aren't very good, you need to get over yourself.
Any you hope to see appear again in the second season or do you think they should continue with fully new concepts for the episodes
People shit on Blind Spot? I don’t understand why you’d do that
I really enjoyed Zima Blue. At first it felt really stupid and pseudo-intellectual with the “I had always wondered if it was the blue of the sea or the blue of the sky” thing, but then it kept going, and the robot cleaned the pool. That was incredible.
The Yogurt one was dumb, yeah. It had neither love, death, or robots, and wasn't really funny.
Lucky 13 was great, too. Legitimately choked up at “Oh my god. She doesn’t wanna die.” Rest in piece, Thirteen, and thank you for your service.
it doesn't need to be directly about the US military, just needs to promote the military
Lucky 13 gave me a halo universe vibe.
The ships even looked like the pelicans
Yeah at first I felt Zima Blue was pretentious to ruin great space art with a blue square, but the reveal made me appreciate the art and meaning for him.
Wow, from which episode did you extrapolate this bullshit? Did we even watch the same show? Like, one episode was literally nothing but white hillbillies fighting aliens.
He read a facebook post or tweet from one of the people he gets his opinions from.
>I'd have liked Aquila rift more if not for the obnoxiously long sex scene.
One of the hottest sex scenes I've ever seen, but the girl was precisely my type and I have a drug and alcohol fetish so it was quite good for me.
Sounds like you read far to much into my post. I don’t even care about political opinions I was just saying that as someone who doesn’t care about the influences of real world politics in media that most of the episodes are just plain bad
>Yea Forums
>watching shows
lol
I liked ice age more for the concept and comedy of it. Aquila rift was only good at the start and end.
It was originally going to be Heavy Metal.
Based retard. Did you seriously think we couldn't talk about ANIMATION on Yea Forums?
So, cross posters are retarded; no surprise here.
Twilight Zone was woke though.
More so than almost any show made even today.
The twilight zone took on real problems, unlike
>hillbillies
>not rednecks
Come on, son. You gotta use the correct disparaging nomenclature. Hillbillies are the ones hanging out in the mountains and woods, most probably digging coal or subsiding on whatever jobs are left after the coal companies have left. It's the rednecks who farm, getting a red neck from bending over in the field all day.
Which ones had rape except for sonny's (which just mentioned it but didn't actually have it)?
The only problem with the new one is it can’t find a balance between subtlety and not wasting the time of the audience.
The old show had the ones that hit the theme on the head so rapid pace you didn’t get bored, and the ones that took time kept building tension until the reveal.
The new one gives you too much time to breathe. I think its because its spending too much time telegraphing the reveals so they don’t feel like sudden asspulls. It feels more like adult Are You Afraid Of The Dark.
It helps that the twilight zone was made in a time where there was an awfull lot of things to complain about
>it set up an intetesting universe!
It slapped a coat of steampunk paint on generic colonial asia.
Good Hunting was garbage on every level, and not because "le sjw"
The animation is fucking terrible (watch their features fucking slide around on their faces), the themes are garbled and contradictory (magic bad, no wait magic good tech bad, no wait tech good), it's full of easy threads to pick at (why make her a robot head that looks like a normal head if its a robot fetish thing, why give her super strength, why did she need to be a whore, why did they never even try to stay in contact), and it caps off with her headed out to murder people who had nothing to do with her torture
Oh, also underage fox girl pussy needed to be thrown in for some reason
Same problems now for the most part.
It just came from a bunch of struggling short story writers from diverse backgrounds who were friends in a time when short stories were top tier entertainment.
>That time the ghost of Hitler almost took over New York until an old Jewish guy with a revolver beat him
To follow this up, writers of short stories have to keep it short and sweet. Nothing exists unless it advances the plot or builds atmosphere.
Writers today are more encouraged to stretch. Waste time, hit a time quota, misdirect, make a mystery box that on a second viewing is obvious.
Not every Twilight Zone had a twist. Like pic related, many are like Greek tragedies as we follow the story to its natural conclusion.
Compare to this from the reboot. Same idea, we all know where its going.
But a lot of time is wasted getting there. The tension drops, the shock didn’t repeat when the actions did. Too much time was spent establishing characters who didn’t need to be established beyond their relationship.
Compare again to pic related.
We don’t have time wasted on who the crew were, just context and a single line of dialogue tells you. The central focus is entirely on the meat of the story, the emotional turmoil of the main character.
>one episode was literally nothing but white hillbillies fighting aliens.
Best episode too. Those modded industrialmechs were straight out of Battletech.
This, doing what rod sterling did wayback when took BALLS
The new Twilight Zone is hardly the Twilight Zone. Unless you mean the old Twilight Zone, in which case you’re mostly right.
This happens
Source: I do it every time I'm on the subway
Good Hunting was a small dicked Asian American '''''male''''' revenge fantasy against Westerners for the natural preference of Asian American women for white partners, you could see the seethe and resentment
Stop telling girls on the subway to smile.
This is a massive problem in all of modern media. I know in comics it was Claremont, Sim and Moore that inspired decompression but what caused the shift in television? The Wire? Sopranos?
I see you've never ridden the subway

So the guy got transported into a Lotus Eater Realm. Big whoop. He’s still in the dreaaam what a twist. The Witness was pretty great.
Can't believe people think the werewolf episode was one of the worst. I thought it was awesome as hell
it wasn't necessarily bad, it was just...there. It didn't really make me feel anything beyond boredom.
It was bad in that it wanted to send some kind of message but couldn't decide what it wanted to say. Most of the werewolves' comrades acting like assholes no matter what they did also didn't help.
The fight scene was good but that's all it had going for it.
I didn't like that big boy died without a fight. I know it's stated they went after him first but you'd figure he could smell them coming or hear them or something.
That's what ruined the Nightmare at 20,000 Feet remake had to have external stories instead of just an internal struggle of a man and his fears losing his mind.
That and "He died because he didn't check his white privilege"
Yea nobody wants to see that
So is this some kinda feminist meme?
Holy shit I never expected to see this comic on Yea Forums
>WHAT IF THE TWILIGHT ZONE WAS THE WOKEST THING EVER
have you never seen the twilight zone?
Zima Blue was the only one I would really call Mature.
It's not so much rape as in having women sexualized in a really over the top way and often brutalized at the same time. In Good Hunting there were moments like when the guy brought the catgirl food her nipples were spilling out of her robe and how her second robot body had nipples and a pussy that the camera paid extra attention to. And how The Witness thought it was necessary to have the woman naked the whole time she was scared running for her life was naked when she was murdered. And in Secret War the sacrifice for bringing the monsters out of Hell was a naked woman.
>Sonnie’s edge just kind of felt like some lesbian’s power fantasy
More likely porn for straight men, considering it was men who directed it, wrote the original story and adapted the story into screenplay.
SUITS was tight, though. It deserves a cartoon and a game. It was a little generic, but that's alright, it's got a good base to build off of. I'd play the hell out of a farming sim with mech combat.
It's also the only one that has no explicit material and can be shown to older kids.
There are a lot of people who only started thinking about politics and social issues when they started hearing about it from YouTubers telling them that the feminists wanted to take away their video games. Surprise surprise they don't know that sci-fi was always full of politics, much of it very left wing.
Wokezone 2019, ya.
Classic twilightzone was more objective with its politics, monsters are due in maple street is about paranoia, rumors and gossip. Something anyone from any political leaning can fall prey too.
Other episodes dealt with other mind boggling things other than politics. Living with immortality, fear of flying(which has been politicized), being alien food, dealing with losing the past and nostalgia but having to move on.
Wokezone is unapologeticly left. The early 2000s one was also politicized.
Which is funny. 2000s Hollywood crashed in on the 9/11 paranoia and patriotism, now their clashing in on anti patriotism. They have no side but what makes money.
Cashing in*
And yet leftists attacked that comic and called it racist because it showed a black man sweating, Wertham called it a soulless attempt to look good, and leftist comics sites like Hooded Utilitarian, Masked Bookwyrm and magazines like The Comics Journal have spent the last 20+ years defending the CCA for objecting to this story when Gaines tried to reprint it post-Code.
Are you saying the left aren't bigoted to white people?
they're bigoted to minorities as well, most people are extremely bigoted in one way or another in all political groups, the right can be bigoted towards white jews in certain circles for example, neo-cons can be bigoted towards latin-americans, a decent number of whom are white.
Agreed. All the shorts I didn't like could have been improved with robots.
Also said he could appear anywhere.
Japs dont like chinks.
All the different Latinos hate each other.
Worlds a clusterfuck of would be hitlers to their own people.
I have yet to see a show where maintaining a group culture is beneficial to said group. Kind of like that old movie the warriors, which was based on a Greek story. Stories like that. Well. The entirety of Japan's shows are built on commradery. For their people. So maybe it's a show only homogenized people can enjoy.
There are some disheartening truths out there. Only to be found, in the twilight zone
Woop, meant to give that final you to you.
>This thing is no twilight zone
You're right. it's better.
Yeah, liberals have been attacking EC's political comics and defending Wertham and the Code for decades. They also widely mocked Timely/Atlas/Marvel's anti-Nazi comics and the cover of Captain America Comics #1 for decades, as recently as CA: The First Avenger in fact.
Now they cite those same EC comics stories and Captain America #1 as great art and positive examples of comics always being political and leftist. Wonder how long it's going to take for Avengers #200 and Identity Crisis to be cited as feminist masterpieces.
Good Hunting begins by showing you an underage girl's vagina
Somehow that's the least of its problems
>And yet leftists attacked that comic and called it racist because it showed a black man sweating
No, that was a comics code authority guy who demanded that they remove the black astronaut completely and then asked them to remove the sweat after the authors fought back.
>Wetham
Not a leftist. He wrote Seduction of the Innocent for fuck's sake. At this rate you'll be saying Joe McCarthy was a leftist.
>liberals have been attacking EC's political comics and defending Wertham and the Code for decades
99.9999% of people have no idea what the fuck those are.
Shit, 80% of the people on this board don't know what those are.
Find some perspective.
>left wing
irrelevant and boring. there is no left wing - the left wing 20 years ago would be unrecognizable to the pearl-clutching racial identitarians calling themselves left wing today.
and fuck you, the vast majority of science fiction was warning against accelerationism and the distrust of and threats related to technology, and its complex interplay with culture. it's conservative at its very core.
Pretty much all group cape cartoons are built on camradery, currently the lauren faust superhero girl show has a lot of that.
Wokest as in every rabbit hole leads to Israel or as in Likes sucking dick?
The series could have used a lot more 2D animation.
Wertham quite literally was a MLK-supporting self-described leftist who testified during Brown vs the Board of Education, ran a free-clinic in Harlem for black kids, accused Jerry Siegel of being a fascist ("We should be grateful the 'S' is not an SS") and fought against segregation.
>fascist
how long will it be before leftists realize fascism doesn't exist and no working definition has ever been put forth beyond "things I don't like this particular week"
>is far and away the most obnoxiously "woke" of the bunch
It really isn't. She fights because that's the only environment where she can exist in her monster body. She wins because she wants to not be dead. The man killin was singular and the result of him killing her meat suit.
There are only three shorts that qualify as even ok.
The Witness is good because of its incredible animation and simple spoopy premise. No big philosophical message to botch, no porn, just good animation.
Suits was just generic and passable. It didn't fuck anything up hard but it didn't do anything amazing either. Basically a Starcraft fan film.
Sucker of Souls was also some great animation from the French studio that also did Lastman.
>Zima Blue
Zima Blue was stuck so far up its own ass that it forgot to make its point. We never empathize with the artist, we never feel his emptiness, and it focuses so heavily on the random trivia of his life that it fails to focus on his lack of purpose and desire for simplicity. Interesting if not perfectly technically sound visuals.
>Beyond the Aquila Rift

>Shape-Shifters

>Good Hunting
So fucking horrible on every level that I kind of can't believe it made it into the collection. Most are bad but this is just...jesus fucking christ.
The rest aren't even worth mentioning.
>The Yoghurt is still worse.
The Narrator had more cheesy charm than bland tv couple 3
This board quite literally thinks that The Joker was an obscure harmless villain who never killed anyone until after It came out, so that wouldn't surprise me.
But anyone who has no idea who Wertham and the Comics Code are has no right to even think of talking about comics history.
I unironically want to see more Alternate Reality History stuff.
What if Lincoln shot first? What if John Wilkes Booth challenged Lincoln to a duel? One with guns, OR one with swords?
That's cool.
I would like to see the paradox though. There is always an anti truth or perversion of truth.
Commradery is good to keep a group together, but the losers are dealing with a living hell because of being outcast.
Which leads them to find their own group. Movies have been made like this, but it does t show how whe. The underdog you root for pulls the same shit from the people who outcast them.
Animal farm
I'm thinking animal farm.
>But anyone who has no idea who Wertham and the Comics Code are has no right to even think of talking about comics history.
OK.
I was more making fun of you saying "libruls say this!" when pretty much no one gives a flying fuck about comic books
I thought it was there version of heavy metal.
A more apt term would be right wing authoritarianism.
I was enjoying Ice Age up until I realized the dude was played by Topher fucking Grace, and then my enjoyment of the short tanked.
Have you ever even fucking so much as read one excerpts from Seduction of the Innocent? Or even the Wikipedia article on Wertham? The guy was a proud liberal Jew who fought against segregation and called Hitler a beginner compared to the comic industry, the most recent reprinting of the book has a whole intro attacking people who mistakenly think he was a conservative.
>the random antagonizing of the crimelord hosting the fights
She physically couldn't throw the match, dipshit. She was putting it on like it was a pride thing because how else does she justify it.
Then why are you on this thread or even on this board?
This thread is about a Netflix animation compilation you fucking faggot
I'm amazed how almost every episode had at least one really good thing about it.
no, because that's right wing authoritarianism, which comes in several flavors
fascism is whatever booty bothers the left today
Yeah, completely unnecessary. She was already losing her powers, so just have her getting sick. Then buddy builds her a new body out of the new magics and shit.
>premordial ooze
It was a "warm soup"
She also wasn't raped, that was another part of the smokescreen.
Sonnie's Edge isn't any good and the tweest is given away the moment you can see that she feels pain and the guy doesn't, but it's still amazing how many retards miss the obvious.
>The Witness
>no porn
user
But then the guy making it doesn't get to animate violent rape and his roboticizing fetish
You think the guy who was like "we need underage nipples and vag in the first minute of my short" was gonna miss a chance for more?
You seriously found that scene sexy?
you cannot seriously look at the extended stripping sequence in the middle and say "yup, that's not sexy and isn't meant to be sexy"
>extended
It lasts seconds
No, I didn't find that sexy, I found it fucking disturbing and unnerving because that's the point
>look up the remake
>no gremlin
>"oh shit. HE'S THE PILOT"
Gross.
>So fucking horrible on every level that I kind of can't believe it made it into the collection. Most are bad but this is just...jesus fucking christ.
Care to elaborate?
Like I said in a previous post, it fails on just about every level possible.
The animation is not just "bad" in a vague sense, it's technically flawed to a ridiculous degree. It
"flows" because there's lots of inbetweens but the keys are fucking trash. The most obvious issue is the floating facial features.
The designs are shit. Our protagonist is the most generic fucking chinaman I've ever seen. The author's waifu is similarly generic, but with the added layer of awful with her robot design (why the fuck does she have a cybernetic face that looks indistinguishable from her old face). The short also seems to revel in oversexualizing her and her pain - the first time we see her she's called a "pup" and is clearly not of-age but there's still a lingering shot of her pussy through her fur because ????.
The writing/boarding is worse. You might be fooled into thinking it's trying to say something about female empowerment, or anti-colonialism, or even nature vs technology, but all of those possible messages are countered within the story itself. The protagonist seems to fucking love technology and everything the colonialists brought, the girl has no agency of her own, nothing that happens has any purpose either narratively or thematically except her getting turned into a robot twice.
I also couldn't help but fucking laugh at the end when she goes off for "revenge" when she had already brutally murdered her captor who had for some reason given her a robot body with super strength
3 Robots especially due to best ‘bot
It just felt some teenager wrote it after being tole he wouldn't get in trouble if he wrote about boobs or dicks.
It wasn't that woke to me. That and this came from the heavy metal reboot that was in the works a few years ago anyways.
>it's getting a second collection
Looking forward to this story
It's not creepy and weird, it's sexually liberated
>Sequel in the works
Oh hell yeah
Hey space farmers and zima blue were kino
Suits was passable and Zima Blue should've spent more time on the artist's feelings and less on the random bullshit achievements
>a time when short stories were top tier entertainment.
i miss that so much. i hate how modern TV is designed for the purpose of binge watching on netflix, hulu or whatever streaming service that's being pushed.
it's like watching a low budget movie cut up into 30 minute chunks with commercials.
Your posts reveal a lot of biases you have and make it hard for me to take your opinion seriously.
I’ve got a lot of problems with them, but the big one is
>The short also seems to revel in oversexualizing her
First of all, an artist is entitled to put as much nudity (or as much of anything, for that matter) into something as they please. Arguing that any artistic decision is unnecessary is, has, and always will be a dumb point to argue; of course it wasn’t necessary. Every creative decision outside of an actual sequence of events isn’t necesary to the story. The artist can have many reasons for doing what they do, but what it all boils down to is the way the artist wants to do it. You, as the viewer, don’t get a say in that part of the creative process. You’re welcome to dislike it because of how a certain thing is executed, but decrying it’s mere existence is dumb, because the viewer should not have a say in how the artist expresses themselves. It defeats the personal purpose of art.
That is, unless your problem is that the nudity destroys your suspension of disbelief based on how it’s executed, in which case, I’d like to point something out; you know the actual, real monster from Chinese folklore doesn’t wear clothes either, right? The Korean and Japanese variants of them did usually wear clothes, but even they were known to seduce men so they could rip out their livers.
What, you wanted a monster that humans know you should probably kill on sight to wear clothes? Where would she get them and why would she need them? Sure, you could argue that she could have just picked them off a corpse.
cont
But again, why? We’ve already established that not only do they not like humans, they don’t particularly enjoy killing, either, so going out of your way to both kill a man and take his clothing to wear isn’t something they’d do. And it’s not like they need them to keep warm, either. They can turn into foxes, with fur and everything. And they don’t need to blend in with humans or anything, because again, they don’t like people.
So what I’m getting from this is that you want this monster that doesn’t need clothes—has never needed clothes since it was made back in ancient China or something—has no use for clothes because it’s a monster—to wear clothes anyway, presumably to protect a modesty that it does not have (due to, once again, being not human), or to quell any sort of concerns of you suspecting that this girl is the author’s waifu or something.
This entire section just kind of reads like you’re such a prude that you think sexuality automatically devalues any sort of artistic merit anything might have.
Opened this thread just to look for this post.
There’s also the whole
>You might be fooled into thinking it’s trying to say something...
Which is also strange to me.
Why is it that people insist upon absolutely every story needing to have some sort of meaning outside its sequence of events? Stories don’t need to push some sort of message every time, they can exist for their own sake. For example, one of the Twilight Zone’s most beloved episodes, “It’s a Good Life” started and ended with Rod telling the audience there was no point to this episode, just an unsettling story of an omnipotent child. To use classic literature as an example, the works of Kafka are still discussed today specifically because there’s no discernible meaning in those works. That’s not to say that a meaning or strong theming should not be present in any work of literature. It’s just important to realize that a story not having a sort of moral or cohesive theming does not make a story bad, by any stretch of the imagination. Not on an objective level, anyway.
Its especially jarring because you start off the whole thing arguing from an objective basis off how the animation is done. Then you dive headlong into a parade of subjective arguments, finally ditching the notion that you’re judging this on any other basis but a personal one in the final paragraph.
I literally could not care less about the drama surrounding the 'messages' of some of the shorts.
Most of them are at least enjoyable, and even when they get slightly hamfisted with the aesops, who fucking cares? Every artist has things that motivate them, especially when it comes to something that has to tell a story.
All that really matters is whether they did a good job conveying it, and I guess whether or not that message means anything to you.
But more importantly Kharnivore is the sexiest monstergirl to be put on a screen in a long, long time.
Based
It’s all downhill after the first season
tl;dr I jacked off to it so it's good
Now THIS is a post I can get behind.
I would fuck, care for, and grow old with Khanivore
Oh goddamn it I got baited
>any opinion that isn't mine is dishonest
Autism
Anime girl posting invalidate opinions
Aquila Rift was too rushed, it didn't feel like there was enough time to ruminate on each revelation before the spider bitch was all "OH YEAH I LIED" again. Yogurt was stupid, that one with the fish ghosts was stupid, the dump actually kind of pissed me off.
>watched the episode expecting that the old guy was going to build some kind of awesome scrap-bot to fight against hordes of garbage monsters and that he was the only line of defense against them escaping and killing wantonly
>turns out the garbage monster likes him and they're friends now despite it murdering his best friend and I guess he was just some crazy shit that kills people too
Left a bad taste in my mouth. I wanted a junkyard robot punching garbage monsters.
>Not even attempting to argue
>all this autistic shit about a clothes strawman
She's a furry. You don't need to put clothes on a furry to avoid drawing a child's labia.
You didn't even try to defend the short, you just attacked the idea that having muddled themes and pointless child nudity are bad things (they are)
Oh hey look.a furry character with no clothes on but also no visible vagina how can this be
Better write a thousand words about how in the ancient sonic folklore sally acorn's pussy is so fat and swollen from sanic speed pounding that it's visible at all times
I enjoyed it.
I dunno user, helping hand was boring as fuck
He killed a city official, not a person.
The Yogurt was great though
What made me hate sonnies edge was all the telling instead of showing.
It was like a freeform RPG and cringy as hell.
Then there's the directly lifted tropes and esthetics that are Just an affront to the concept of art. That steampunk city was completely devoid of creativity.
meh. at least Zima blue and three robots were good.
I wish most of the shorts could have at least looked more unique and stylized. a lot of them looked like some uncanny mo-capped cutscenes from a generic FPS. I was really dissappointed by that.
I like the one with trucker megaman, the one with the fish ghosts and the one with the farmers using mechs.
What're your favorites Yea Forums?
>I DON'T KNOW WHAT WOKE MEANS BUT I'M GONNA PRETEND TO BE OUTRAGED ANWAY: The Post
Netflix needs to be a little more discerning with what it greenlights, this is almost as bad as Adam Sandler
Friendly reminder that zima blue was kino
>implying The Twilight Zone wasn’t woke
When was the last time you saw an episode of the show or it’s two remakes, user? TTZ was always pretty woke. It and Star Trek were.
>Oh, also underage fox girl pussy needed to be thrown in for some reason
I'm kind of amazed they dind't get shit for that
Drug trip, he overdosed.
Wertham made shit up and falsified his “research” for Seduction of the Innocent. Him being an old school leftist means nothing when his book is a big fucking lie. Good for him for helping people, but his book is trash.
>>DUDE WHAT IF THE TWILIGHT ZONE WAS THE WOKEST THING EVER
You haven't seen the new Twilight Zone, did you?
Face it, you just hate any animation style that's not (some form of) realism
Yes, Zima Blue still was relatvely realistic
You're using "woke" in the wrong context here. You're also confusing woke with true progressivism. Woke just means fake, forced progressivism. In practice, being "woke" in current year is actually very regressive and narrow-minded.
It's the same context as "social justice warrior". Nothing about what SJWs do is in any way beneficial to actual social justice. They just speak in blanket theory. It's why they show so much support for socialism and communism. Because those forms of government only work in theory too.
Except Good Hunting doesn't straight up begin by telling you "HEY LOOK AT THIS FEMINIST FIGHTING EVIL MEN". It ends that way. But it makes sense in the context of the story.
>The animation is fucking terrible (watch their features fucking slide around on their faces
I remember something like this, but only in the beginning. Post webms.
>the themes are garbled and contradictory (magic bad, no wait magic good tech bad, no wait tech good)
Things are not exclusively good or bad. They have negative and positive aspects. Tech destroyed magic, but in a way, it replaced magic.
The rest of your complaints are just dumb. All your questions can be answered with another question: why wouldn't it be this way? None of these things are implausible.
It just shows that you probably spent the entire 17 minutes nitpicking instead of trying to enjoy it.
>an affront to the concept of art
Yep, you're really looking for reasons to get offrended, aren't you?
based retard
Those posts are three different people.
If you're trying to argue that the intended theming was duality then you've got a lot more justifying to do.
Also
>why WOULDN'T the ebil rapist white piggu give his abused and forcibly mutilated sex slave the means to easily murder him?
>Why wouldn't you replace your slave's head with a robot head made to be indistinguishable from a human head?
Lesbians, anticolonialism, and climate change are nothing to be offended by.
>monsters are due in maple street is about paranoia, rumors and gossip.
It's about Mccarthyism, dummy
I'm pretty sure he was literally stated to have a robot fetish.
being woke is not a bad thing
new twilight zone has one fucking good episode.
ONE FUCKING EPISODE!
they really should get some tons of it
Thanks, it was.
Tons of underage fox pussy? Hell yeah!
Which one?
>DUDE WHAT IF THE TWILIGHT ZONE WAS THE WOKEST THING EVER
that's the new Twilight Zone tho
>it’s bombing with SJWs for just not being very good in spite of pandering to them
Yowza
Pandering isn't enough anymore because the sort of people that would blindly praise media just for being inclusive will never financially support said media.
>Zima Blue was good
The people that seem to blindly support media and give their money to it are people who unironically called themselves alt right and made the most boring comics and stories in existence
What was bad about it?
user remember the Arkh Project? that stupid concept for a Queer Eye-like show but with Lesbians? the would be sitcom about the asexuals? there's blind consumers in the other side too and as it turns out if you appeal directly to an audience with a concept they'll be all over it enough to give you thousands, even millions, for it, problem is that those people are only willing to shelf out the money on concepts and ideas, if a product already exist they're less likely to support it because they think the fact it exists and them speaking well about it is good enough.
>guy tries to assassinate Trump in the very first episode
And I thought American Horror Story was tactless
>And I thought American Horror Story was tactless
wait did AHS got preachy in later seasons? I've only watched the first few seasons but the first season tired to get us to sympathize with a kid that was literally a school shooter and a rapist and season had a bunch of morally gray shit.
Is that the place where men stand because women put their bags in the seat next to them?
Interesting visuals, abyssmal writing in every single short
Oh wow the both extremes are bad argument you know i overall agree with that but you make it sound like you where trying to refute me with it because every time someone brings up a point nowadays some faggot like you has to remind everyone BOTH sides are bad lile we dont already know and its some enlightening information well im fucking tired of hearing the same thing and i want you people to go fuck yourselves to death
Yeah, so if she had a new robot head that looked robotic like the rest of her body that would make sense.
But it doesn't, it's indistinguishable from her real head until they go to upgrade her.
>They are showing it in black and white thinking that will fix things.
Nah.
Also some big time irony in that
look man I started off by saying the people that those sort of shows pander to don't support said show you're the one that went "b-but the alt right", so the one that brought up the two sides argument is you, I'm just rolling with my starting point. You need to take a chill pill and maybe step off the comp for a couple hours cuz you seem unnecessarily riled up, if you're gonna start sperging just because I bring up more data then you've reached your millage limit on internet discussions.
Yeah. Once things shift to the modern day, the SJW-ness ramps up. “Cult” begins with a lesbian getting so triggered by Trump winning that she regains her childhood phobia of...clowns. Later seasons get worse
Yeah posting smug anime images is supposed to prove something we already agree im just calling you a fag because you stated somsthing that literally everybody knows youre the kinda shithead that thinks he has above average iq but didnt try hard enough in school
literally none of those are smug, you sound legitimately autistic if you can't recognize basic emotions in faces.
>TWILIGHT ZONE WAS THE WOKEST THING EVER
>Peele's masturbatory, hypocritical season finale
Euch. Just reading those spoilers made me blanch a bit.
Last episode of its season consisted of a nu-light Zone STRONG BLACK WOMYN writer being haunted and harassed by the ghost of Rod Serling.
God youre an insufferable faggot
Having a better time than you are though, take note by the way, this is what an actual smug face looks like, might want to remember it for next time you throw an autistic tantrum.
>art is only made for the artist
Neat opinion my dude, I'm going to go paint the walls of my house in the blood of toddlers because that seems like good art.
The point here being, before you scream "false equivalence" at me, is that art being personal doesn't excuse it's immorality or it's objective quality. This was a work made by a team of people given a budget by netflix with the promise that it would be popular in both the world of critical opinion and in normie opinion, besides from acheieving some abstract goal of being "good". It failed in all three of those goals and especially the last one for the reasons that the last post described. The point is the percieved goal pursued, which in this case was quality, and it failed. You can smear as much shit on the wall under the excuse of art but it's still shit on a wall dude.
Thanks for proving my point youre a smug faggot if you kill yourself you could actually contribute something to this world.
>thanks for proving my point you're having fun at my expense
literally brain dead
That one did particularly stand out to me because in reality it's the Chinese who are doing that kind of shit in Africa.
There really wasn't that much "Woke" about it.
It was mostly just adaptions of short stories by sci fi authors.
You sound like a weak faggot OP
Fuck Peele.
Could somebody explain why telling a woman to smile is apparently evil and crime worthy of death?
I'm a guy and since I have a serious case of resting bitch face I always have people telling me to smile and while that's a little annoying I don't hate those people or assume they want to rape me or whatever so what's the deal?
Zima Blue seems to be the most unanimously liked short
>Could somebody explain why telling a woman to smile is apparently evil and crime worthy of death?
It's annoying, but because feminist love playing the victim, they hype literally everything to be the worst thing ever so they look like bigger victims.
What is he going to eat?
Even if Greta had some sort of food to give him which is assuming a lot there is no guarantee he would be able to eat it.
Greta was basically an alien hospice nurse, she couldn't save him but she could try and make his final moments happy ones.
Same. I don't know what the fuck is it gonna take to satisfy these niggers, they're never happy.
As for the short, the action was pretty awesome. It also left a nice little message at the end. It's obvious: treat them like shit long enough and you'll lose good men. In the end the marine is just like you know what fuck y'all duke it out yourselves if you're gonna be that much of dickbags. My biggest gripe is that the way the normal humans treat werewolves amounts to HURR DURR FUCKING ANIMALS which is a shallow reason for them to be so discriminative at best and a nonexistant none at worst. Realistically they'd look past their being not human seeing the sheer support they provide but nah, the discrimination bit is just handfisted in, crammed in there. They should've given a better reason for werewolves to be looked down upon so. Friendly werewolves, of course
Do you take every single little thing in fiction as either a personal insult or approval of your own beliefs?
The "left" only refers to people who are more in favor of planned economies over free markets, it is not synonymous with democrats or liberals (which are also not the same thing).
I wonder who could be behind this post...
>The most obvious issue is the floating facial features.
The what?
You're whole post reads like you're saying "It's bad because it's bad!" while attempting to obfuscate how shallow your reasoning is by saying nothing in as many words as possible.
It depends on what you mean by "woke" (god I hate that word in that context).
If you mean willing to tackle political or societal issues then you would be correct.
But if you use the term as it is usually applied and mean dealing in petty daily annoyances and treating them like major issues you would be incorrect.
"Woke" is generally used when somebody acts as if something like manspreading is a problem more damaging to society than cancer or war which granted the original twilight zone did occasionally (Time enough to last: Reading is apparently horrible, The Silence: If you're loud you shouldn't be allowed to talk) but those stories were outnumbered by the episodes about more serious topics.
That said I don't see Love Death & Robots to be either form of woke since none of the episodes are really meant to be taken as Aesops or commentary at all, The new twilight zone however is absolutely "woke" trash based entirely in commentary on petty grievances.
American Horror Story is just boring, I couldn't even make it past the first season.
>the what?
Just what I said you blind dipshit, the most glaringly obvious errors in Good Hunting are character's eyes, noses, and mouths not properly anchoring on/following their head. Their features slide around on their faces. In some cases during head turns the features are even angled wrong
Arkh project was supposed to be a video game not a sitcom.
Could you provide some examples?
Just watch the scene this image is from for one of the most obvious examples: Off the top of my head the introduction of the white piggu robo fetishist had a pretty bad one too.
Each season is a completely different story, at first at least.
I enjoyed the "Coven" season, despite all the unnecessary edge and the occasional in-your-face GRRL POWER, which is sort of harmless.
Or did you just like seeing fox puss?
Woah woah woah....
It’s ok. You just need to get to your calm place....
Just flip the light switch on and off exactly 10 time, count to 5, then wash your hands for exactly 3 minutes.
Rookie/That slutbot from The Blindspot when?
Or just porn of the slutbot
I actually really like the Witness, mostly because time loops are neat.
Also the girl in that looks like an aged up version of a prototype design for Peni Parker from Spiderverse.
It was alright, some of the shorts were decent and overall it served it's purpose: To show off fancy modern CG and also test pilot a few series using mostly scifi books.
Interesting that people liked Lucky 13, I thought that one was boring. It was almost all "whoa dude CG looks so real", which is nice and all but not entertaining.
I liked the robot train heist one, it was short and had a decent blend of comedy and action, even if it was juvenile, and I liked the simple and pretty obvious in hindsight twist at the end. The characters were bouncing off each other well, it looked and sounded good, and it didn't have any filler scenes.
Helping Hand? Helping Hand should have been a single scene in a longer movie, not a short film by itself. Hell, I've seen "Helping Hand" in like 5 different movies before, it IS a scene in other shit already.
Within seconds of the episode starting it felt like the entire episode played before my eyes, it's just as obvious as possible what the conflict would be, it's obvious as fuck what sort of thing the solution will need to be, the scenes don't make the obvious content any better to watch because it's just a photorealistic girl floating a bit without anything new, and they end it with a "haha here's a dry humor joke downplaying that I just cut my hand off lol". Congrats to the animators for making it look nice, but it didn't do much at all.
Now, Zima Blue at least had a nice plot. It was simple enough, but it gave a little mystery, and then followed through on it, in a very short runtime. That's what I wanted out of the shorts, something new, Zima Blue was one of the few that delivered anything new at all.
I like Blindspot's cast too.
Wouldn't mind getting more about them and their world, which isn't really something I can say for the Lion's share of the shorts.
It, suits, sonnie's edge and Three robots are the only ones that hit that specific mark for me at least.
Shame Sonnie's a carpet muncher, cause I find the idea of some guy falling for her only to go "That's even better!" When she reveals she is her battle beast to try and scare him off hilarious.
I liked Zima Blue's pseudo-intellectual bits because they very clearly exist to make the anti-climatic bit better, it's shitting on the people that like the fake intellectual shit.
It has only two good shorts and a half decent one
The fox lady one had some she tropes but it didnt push an agenda with a man being the protagonist and painted in a completely positive way
The other was has a Black Guy then into a vacum cleaner
And the half decent one gets spoiled at the trailer
they should get whoever did the Bloody Bunny series to do another BB animation next season since apparently they did well enough to get more eps.
youtube.com
Fish Night was just sort of pointless, I don't need stories to have "meanings" but I at least want a beginning middle and end. Fish Night wasted several minutes of time on waiting in the desert, and the payoff was pretty visuals and a non-ending.
Ice Age was shitty too, it had no purpose and didn't try any sort of logic. It had wasted scenes too, like why waste time on burying a mammoth in a plant? They could have made the episode significantly better by having the "new world" not be in the freezer again, but in the potted plant the guy put the mammoth in, which would basically show the consequences of his actions and give the episode some merit of exploring the hubris of man, not to play god, yadda yadda. Instead the world he tries to kill revives automatically and the ways he interferes has no impact.
Otherwise decent list.
>Could somebody explain why telling a woman to smile is apparently evil and crime worthy of death?
It's a mild annoyance, as you're aware.
Now, this isn't "right", but their logic incorrectly assumes they only get this comment because they're a woman, and that they get this comment because the people telling them this see them as "just a pretty face". It's like they see it as saying "You're property, you should smile to look nice because that's your value in life".
Not surprisingly, it had a full plot including a mini mystery and interesting solution, while also having pretty visuals and a decent message. Most episodes don't have much at all outside of looking pretty.
Switch HH with ice age and knock yogurt down a rank and that's a pretty great list
A battle beast is fine too.
Funny how Yea Forums eats up literal kids cartoons even if they're shit, but adult animation has to be judged extremely harshly.
Yeah this show was mediocre, so are most of the cartoons you obsess over.
You seem really upset.
Are you one of those "Mature things for a mature person like myself" fags?
If so I feel nothing but unending pity for you.
Nah, but it's funny seeing low-tier shit like Loud House being treated as amazing when it's low tier children's animation with basic cut-out stereotype characters going through the same gags every episode, and then seeing some of the same people saying "this show is bad because it has effort put into the art but nothing happens!". Bitch, you probably watch shows made in flash where just as little happens.
Why not just kill them instead of that ilusion then?
I like the comparison with a hospice nurse, why don't they kill patients that are clearly in pain and just waiting around to die? It's the same thing, giving death is pretty hard to do and in the end they just try to give as much comfort as possible until the short time is up, because it's all they can do.
Every day I'm reminded that the people on Yea Forums know fuck about shit and I really should stop caring what they have to say, and yet every day I'm here regardless. Maybe I'm just getting too old but there comes a point where it's obvious that debate with a retard just makes you both into retards. I'd love to show people the mistakes in their logic, the flaws in their assumptions, the gaps in their knowledge, but none of them want any of that shit. They want to be retarded, they're happy knowing fuck about shit, though I guess "happy" isn't the best way to describe it. They want to be upset, and they want that righteous anger, justified or not. So I guess I'll just leave this, pic related.
Ignorance is bliss
Its not just decompression but bad pacing in general. Look at Game of Thrones. Beyond the writing problems when they ran out of book to copy the entire final season was compressed to all hell. The issues of the final 3 episodes should have been resolved over damn near 2 seasons. Nobody knows how to pace anymore. They focus on the extraneous details at the price of all plot relevant shit.
The important thing is that you've managed to make yourself feel superior without taking any kind of stance or really saying anything at all
>all of Yea Forums is one person
You're retarded
Blindspot was pretty good, I liked it. The swearing felt unecessary, but it's kinda like that with all of them.
I kinda felt like zima blue had some pretty cool atmosphere going on for the setting, I could see more one off shorts of that variety in the same world.
Suits was pretty good, you could get maybe two or three more episodes out of the concept, characters, and plot without squeezing it dry.
I think sonnie's edge and three robots exhausted theirs in part by being too close to current reality. sonnie's edge just felt like grimdark number 667, of which we've seen more in the other cg shorts, and three robots is just... eh. It would need a lot more to flesh it out.
I think that the most potential for continuation could be sucker of souls. The ending is left ambiguous, so you could have them survive to go on a different mission like this is a common occurence, have them escape the cave to fight dracula more later on and continue that story. It feels like uncharted mixed with resident evil, you could take that in very many different directions, new characters, a whole plotline, a villain of the week. You could have a lot. Blindspot has the same potential if this was a pilot episode, but it would probably have to be more formulaic to stick to the whole ninja turtles biker mice from mars thing it has going on.
What? She was definitely assaulted which is why they put her in the monster to begin with, and I don't remember them confirming she wasn't raped too.
Oddly enough, the short would have been way better if it came from an animals rights perspective instead of a rape perspective
If I did I'd be an Asian American
In the original I believe the alien genuinely cares for him. In the short I assume she was low on supplies and had to ration them out. Plus if he was never moving he'd use less energy.
I really wish that episode had an extra 5 minutes.
>They have no side but what makes money.
people will refuse the reason for that though.
