Rimba

How did this show go so wrong? Literally nothing exciting has happened in the past four episodes, and the previous episode was a dream sequence clipshow. Do they really think they can pull a good finale out of their ass when they didn't bother building up to anything?

>In the season finale, the odds are stacked against Tag and his allies - how will they overcome all the obstacles in their way and break the Ringmasters' control over the RIMBA Grand Prix?

nigger

they set the bar too high with that plot twist of theirs

Thing is, narratively, it wasn't even a good plot twist. A good plot twist is something that is foreshadowed but remains hidden. There was no foreshadowing with Meika. It was a complete ass-pull.

It was a stunt, yes.(Though there was one hint that went over our heads).

Sure we expected her to be the hidden villain instead we got three henchmen who can do jackshit without her.
But It wasn't all that bad, it had some good moments. ...Until that goddamn bag of chips.

So. Did you watch episode 22 and 23? The days when these episodes were announced I never found them by streaming. I will try to find these episodes later.

Maling bastard

I don't speak the language, but this is literally all that happened in the past few episodes.

Pike held a press conference. I assume he was accusing Tag of something.

Pike met privately with King and then forced King to leave his own office. He was probably demoted.

King meets with Tag and his friends and they talked for a few minutes. Likely about the investigation, or more likely, King was offering to help them take down Pike.

The investigator guy interviewed all of the racers privately. But then he left.

Sonny and Vyxx get called up to King's office, and they're then disqualified from the next race. Vyxx beat up Tamira off-screen, so Tamira is injured and can't race either.

During the race, with the heroes down three members, they short-circuit the RGP's camera systems and try to wreck Tag. Meika shoots a missile at one of the bad guys which turns the tide.

At the end of the most recent non clipshow episode, Meika and Pike are both talking to the Ringmasters but she gets ordered to leave the room. They tell Pike something privately and the last shot was on him smiling sinisterly.

As I've said before, NOTHING in the past few episodes seems like it was the result of Tag and his friends. They had no plan to stop the ringmasters. After the black box was destroyed, they had no leverage and no way to get victory. So I don't know why things are turning around for them or why Pike has been on the defensive recently. It doesn't make sense.

If I had to guess, maybe King had a backup copy of the black box and sent it to the authorities or something. It's the only thing that would make a bit of sense.

the contents of the black box could not be copied.

let's try to fix the story..

after the crater race there should be another flashback episode where mole explains her motives,

If they really had to destroy the black box, make meelo and xeno fight in some sort of hacker game which would show us who's actually smarter. tag would at least have a spy on his side that way, now that's her cover was blown he's completely defenseless.

we still dont know ringmasters motives, are they part of an agenda against something, or they're just "Eeeevil" for the sake of being evil?

we'll probably never know, since I dont see that Movie happening.

Meika stays evil. She continues to "help" them out, but after the black box gets destroyed, they put two and two together. She joins the villains team properly, but Axle, who is tired of being told what to do and eager to prove he earned his wins, joins Tag's team.

...and go against his samurai-like codex?

Meika being evil makes no sense, why would she care for Sonny so much, then?

Maybe she just wanted to maintain her cover. Maybe she just liked the D.

Someone make good shots of the vending machine from the latest available episode. I want to know what other treats are there. Sky Berries sound yummy.

Why did they stop notifying the new episodes on Facebook? Is it still ongoing on TV3?

No idea. We can scapegoat the usual guy.

I've read season 2 will be on Netflix soon once they'll figure out the deals with SVODs. Then we can say goodbye.

can someone rip these episodes?

They could wrap the story within two seasons. And make an Epilogue comic.
Because not every story needs to be dragged on forever. You wouldn't make money out of it, so at least you could make it good and memorable, now it's impossible.

Glue Studios, you had potential. Once.

They talked about indiegogo funding comics, or even patreon, but they never actually committed to anything. They never once monetized their show. Even the damn shirts, which they advertised for months, never came out. And they looked like shit anyway.

And now they plan to make CGI anime about catgirls and girls in jihabs.
Ironically Good Luck with that, guys.

Tariq did mention once that he'd be planning on pitching the show forward to make it more oriented to young adults. I'm quite curious how that would turn out if it were to happen.

>Tariq
>planning
Please don't use these two words in same sentence.

Clearly his only plan was getting season one on Netflix and hoping that, somehow, they like it so much to order more episodes. But let's face it, that's not happening. I'm honestly surprised Netflix even acquired the show and I'm convinced Glue Studios just gave it to them. The episodes were already on YouTube, for free, so I doubt Netflix would have seen much value in having the episodes on their service.

There are far better shows that never came to Netflix.

After this, the only thing that'll keep being made is the porn. Rule34 is eternal even with this show.

Not a brightside guy, are you?

The script seems to show that they have a goal in mind but don't know how to build up to it.
