Paranatural

>it's all nonsense, can't help ya, get out of here

Honestly, this is the last page I'm gonna make a thread about
It's gone for good, this shit turned into an inhumane slog and even my autism has had enough

this line work is awful, why even fucking bother with a comic if you're not going to put care and effort into it. And I don't blame you OP, I don't think I can follow the trainwreck any longer, why does Zack think people care about this side story

>why even fucking bother with a comic
Because it already has a following, Zack's gotta keep the internet bux flowing, and what else is he gonna do?

AAARRRGGHHHH

I don't want to look at these ugly characters

jesus christ zack you aren't even quarter-assing it anymore.

>Honestly, this is the last page I'm gonna make a thread about
Same happened to me. I used to make threads for new pages, but I can't be arsed anymore. There's nothing to talk about, the comic has declined so far.

This makes me sad. I'd not gone back to Paranatural since the conclusion of the dodge ball arc.

Has it really slipped so much?

Did his art fucking devolve?

This isn't even Paranatural. He's 6 months in to a spin off comic about a minor member of Johnny's gang's day off school. We won't see Max or anyone ever again.

Disgusting, I don't know what's wrong with people to support such terrible quality

Now this is some dunning-kruger effect at work

How is the inking still this consistently fucking awful with Zack switching back to 1 page a week? This absolutely cannot take more than 2 days of work, maybe even 1.
At least we get to see different backgrounds pretty often now instead of just a shiny yellow school floor for 4 years.

WASN'T THIS COMIC ABOUT GHOSTS AT ONE POINT.

Agreed. I can't even be bothered to hate this comic anymore, it's too painfully mediocre to get any fun out of it. Paranatural is a ghost of its former self, at least I still have the old chapters to be inspired by. The artwork and writing in those was top notch shit.

Eh Ghost train chapter wasn't great it just seems better in comparison to everything following. Thinking back the only time I can say I fully enjoyed both art and story concurrently in this whole webcomic was the Walk to school chapter.

even chris-chan occasionally gets a paypig that's stupid enough to send him a hundo

I miss these threads.

That world is gone now. Along with my youth and optimism.

This comic has been steadily becoming more awful ever since he fell in with the twitter crowd and ultimately made enemies with his past-best friends. I guess his ex-friends were helping him edit his story or something or he's just incredibly weak-willed from outside influence, because the writing along with the art took a total nose-dive after he stopped hanging out with them, which I think was a bit before the train arc

>Start up fun little webcomic about ghosts and shit and about how early Bleach was the shit.
>Art is wonky at first but gets good over time
>Get a fan base growing, people can't wait for new pages.
>Seemingly forget that stretching out one chapter over the course of two years isn't the smartest idea when you only update two or three times a week.
>Getting tired of people complaining, so just fake a wrist injury
>People get more annoyed that this "wrist injury" happens more and more often.
>Find out that a good chunk of that fanbase you have is from Yea Forums, and that they like all of the fun action scenes and the highly saturated colors.
>Get rid of all that and adopt a light color scheme and make sure everyone is way more curved now, claim that you're just fighting back against Yea Forums
>Claim more "wrist injuries" to get more time off
>Get mad when half your fanbase leaves when you ignore all the dangling plot threads just so you can have a chapter dedicated to some background character and a dog

Zack doesn't want to make Paranatural anymore but wants to sustain the patreonbux it generates, so he's just using the comic as a vehicle for his new interests. Ghosts aren't relevant anymore.

Why are people still pushing this nonsense? Zack ruined his comic because he started hanging out with hugboxy twitter crowds too much and turned into a zero-effort artist as a result, not because he wanted spite the 100 or so people who used to frequent these threads.

>so he's just using the comic as a vehicle for his new interests
I for one can't wait to see what the next chapter released in 2029 is about. Max's dads day at the store: Not featuring Max. Starchman joins the dating scene. What the Deer people did after Isaac left.

Attached: 5KR8.gif (480x366, 3.2M)

he made a tweet saying something along the lines of "I want to become unpalatable to Yea Forums" because according to the twitter crowd Yea Forums is the source of all evil and problematicness

Because Zack said so himself

Zack himself admitted to wanting to make his comic "unpalatable to Yea Forums" after finding out that we liked his stuff.

See you chucklefucks here for the next comic. None of you will ever be free.

I'm hoping that if I read the comic long enough, it will diminish my taste until I can actually start to enjoy it again.

Why do they think it's crying from sadness and not happiness? It keeps on eating doesn't it?

Why not both?

>desuarchive.org/co/search/subject/paranatural/
Nah user it's the end. From 2011 to April 2019 I don't think there was a single page that wasn't posted. Now it's intermittent and probably just OP when he remembers.

you mean?

animals 'cry' for all sorts of reasons unrelated to sadness

that... that's exactly what we were saying

I don't even know what webcomics this place still likes anymore.
I admittedly haven't been to Unsounded threads in a good while.

Yea Forums doesn't like or read comics

And what? Do you like this web comic? You like its "quality" writing and diminishing artwork?

I just told you dumpass

>this place
You misunderstand Yea Forums as a whole. It is not "a place", a committee or a group of people
It is the undiluted will of a hundred people that really just want to be entertained. You give it a bone, it'll ask for more, and criticize every bone you give it from there on. It grows tired of the old, but wishes for more of the same. It asks for art whenever possible, but idolizes shitty doodles. It heralds creativity, but the almost entirety of its contribution to the outside is a never ending supply of shitty fanart, made possible only by people if not completely external to it, at least not completely absorbed in it.
It is a beast of contradiction that cannot be reasoned with, and the fastest people realize it, the better their experiences will be when dealing with it.
That's all there is to it. Treating it as anything more or less than that is what gets you into trouble

>that pic
stop reminding us of fun times, user, that's not nice
