A good writer sets the rules, or at least most of the basic rules, for whatever phenomenon takes place in their story. SU's fusion is not that and especially not when we're talking about Stevonnie.
A bad or mediocre at best writer pushes their artistic freedom to its limits and explains the rules AFTER questions are asked with whatever's convenient, or never does at all.

Ya know, i thought it was wasted potential, but I really wanted the idea of Stevonnie to be like how she. Steven and Connie fuse, sometimes it's a Stevonnie that looks more Female, other times times it's a Stevonnie that looks and sounds more male. If they had done that, I think I would've liked Stevonnie more.
