Was Symbionic Titan not released in HD? It seems like it's only sold in SD on iTunes and the Microsoft store, and then the Australian DVD set.
I could have sworn I used to have an HD version of the show, but now I'm not sure.

And I just noticed that my image was saved with the dimensions of the raw video stream, instead of being stretched to the proper aspect ratio first. Going to see if there's an option I can toggle to fix that.
There are HD rips but if memory serves there's something wrong with them. Horribly interlaced or frame rate issues or something since they're from Adult Swims site.

Unfortunately I can't find an option in MPHC that makes the Save Image function use the aspect ratio marked in the file instead of just the raw video stream, so I have to manually adjust the image after capture.

Octus really is the best; he got the most interesting development at the very least. I did rewatch it very recently and I was surprised by how much I liked Lance and Ilana; I remembered them being kind of bland, but I liked them a lot on my second view.
How are the HDTV rips?
You very easily will assume Lance is gonna be an absolute cunt but they work well with making his aloof outcast-ness be due to genuinely bad people skills as often as moodiness
The ones I've got are great, they're ripped straight from the first run CN showings and are as smooth as butter, but they haven't been available online since 2012. I hear that the later rips from the Adult Swim site are a bit janky.
I absolutely hated the characters. I loved the monsters, the distrust and drama, the violence, the intensity, the atmosphere, the realism.

That same scene is where he downright overpowers the handcuffs in a fit of rage and escapes.
Normally every other show goes the pussy way by distracting the guards and using a tool, but this motherfucker outright breaks out through sheer force and determination. That's one of the things I liked about this show.
