When a substantial portion of the movies problems stem from this one choice to suddenly have new garbage bombers for no reason, being Finn and Poe’s entire plots, it’s worth dissecting why their inclusion was a mistake. He’s not saying it’s bad they aren’t using Y-Wings, he’s saying that the new ships are direct downgrades in every metric to just about everything we’ve ever seen for any ship in Star Wars, so why even bother using or introducing them? If the new ships were just as good or better than Y-Wings or B-Wings there’d be no issue.

First of all, they're incredibly short and straight to the point. And secondly, he talks about the themes and messages of movies without sounding too pretentious. He also has some knowledge into movie history and production so it feels like he knows what he's talking about. He obviously isn't the best, but for a simple Yay or Nay, he's alright. Miles better than Mauler.

And see, your explanation has already made you more effective than Mauler. Mauler's points are all mostly valid, but he falls back hard on repetition rather than proper explanation, and often gets into it too much to the point where he starts making unsubstantiated claims.

There's almost nothing you can shoot on a "once a week basis", or medium-to-high quality content that runs longer than 15 minutes but less than 30, without weeks or months of script work, besides movie reviews and let's plays.
