Why did Hal deserve to win?

No troll. Why should he win to a reality bending, ominipotent god?

Here you go. Basically, GL crushes on feats.

ok, thank you

Attached: 1558982039254.png (500x600, 232K)

Because death battle thinks DC, as a universe, is bigger and more important than other franchises, so doing anything in DC matters more than doing the same in another universe.

Death battle also levels people by their strongest "feats", without taking into consideration the circumstances surrounding them. Even worse, they completely ignore the ways the characters were defeated, because they know many of their favourite characters would suffer from jobbing moments and actually be weak as shit.

You sound like a bitch

>bending, ominipotent god
>has to go through a. literal ordeal to even conjure up his powers

Cry more faggot

>levels people by their strongest "feats", without taking into consideration the circumstances surrounding them
False. They make specific mention of doing just the opposite: Not taking into account random screenshots and pages without context until they go back and see what the circumstances surrounding it were.

But you want them to not use both characters at their individual best as demonstrated in their respective series. You instead want to take the character you don't like at their worst to give your rooted for favorite an advantage. It's petty.

I mean he HAS beaten reality bending omnipotent beings before.

Attached: Volthoom_01.jpg (625x1285, 534K)

Hal can't even beat Dr Manhattan.

>omnipotent

Fucker can’t even walk unless those two giant heads agree to it.

Exactly how dumb are Bengals when they still don’t get that Alien X was meant to be a useless joke?

>Watching Death Battle
Shut up and go back you youtube fag.

Short answer: Because he's beaten people of comparable power before.

Attached: green lantern.jpg (678x527, 58K)

DC heroes get weaker the more there are of them in close proximity to each other.

Truth. And they are weakest when Batman and/or Superman is present.

>Because death battle thinks DC, as a universe, is bigger and more important than other franchises
To be fair, it is.

Apparently if a character isn't at it's best, that means it must be at it's worst.

Somehow the concept that if you composite a character across multiple incarnations (which is by itself, a strange concept since in effect they are creating a new character that doesn't actually exist) means that you must take in all their strenghts, but all of their weaknesses as well does not sound balanced. To ONLY take in the weaknesses that are common to all of the incarnations is obviously picking and chosing your winners.

The fact that the omnitrix autoshifts Ben to the best alien to survive a fatal situation and it shifted him into a bunch of aliens but not Alien X when he was trying to hold the big bang should really give you a hint how unreliable his power is.

Bait

Attached: d98.jpg (563x601, 32K)

Comparing characters based on a combinations of the strongest feats they ever shown is the entire concept of the series. It was never about accurate portrayals of specific versions of the characters, it was always about doing the math to find the biggest numbers each character can generate and compare them.

>hal has to put down a multiversal level threat
To Ben this was the greatest fight of his life.
To Hal it was Tuesday.

Kek
also, what if pic?

Attached: 1558949945826.png (3130x2771, 3.74M)

Let's not exaggerate, omnipotent threats are more like an annual problem for Hal.

Who cares?

Tough call, kid Ben wanted to be a hero was it only after his adventures, did he develop the will his older self has? Maybe if it’s like Somar Le’s situation

Basically Sam Nova. He'd be fine and having him as Hal's pupil would be fun.

>Because death battle thinks DC, as a universe, is bigger and more important than other franchises,
>Implying it isn't.
I shiggy diggy.

You make that sound like beating Dr Manhattan is easy

>Because death battle thinks DC, as a universe, is bigger and more important than other franchises, so doing anything in DC matters more than doing the same in another universe.

Are you suggesting otherwise? DC power levels ARE absurdly higher than pretty much every other fictional universe. This has been a consistent fact for over 80 years of publication.

Didn't he have help from nekrom?

Attached: 1558033696646.jpg (512x512, 32K)

Cartoon watching plebs.

Comparing both characters at their peaks is the most logical, fair way to conduct this. Weaknesses are taken into account, as are hard counters. But if there's ways around them that's considered too. It's all about determining what the character would be under its BEST conditions. If you don't like that you don't like Death Battle and threads like these are a complete waste of your time and energy, winner/loser be damned.

I just wanna know why they decided to mix Pre and Post Crisis feats for Hal, they didn’t even do that for Superman

Manhattan nothing personal kid’ed Dr. Fate.

For Volthoom yes. But it was less help from Nekron and more forcing Nekron

What's to stop Hal from killing Ben by using his weaknesses?

Of what?

>deserve
Why do you fags take these dumb videos so seriously?

They don't really have a DC bias, but always like to finish arguments with who has more nostalgia around them

When?

More of their fanbase has a nostalgia boner for Ben10 than Hal Jordan so that theory is DOA

Doomsday Clock 9

Boy that writer sure is a smug motherfucker

This seems super long, anyone mind giving me a quick recap?

Soul fuckery or ageing

Literally because it would stir shit and they thought Hal was the more popular hero.

Ben 10 is literally the most powerful since Omniverse confirmed that he can't die so his place in a death battle is moot.

>Until he convinces his other personalities that this is stupid, he should just have full control

I can't find Dr Fate in that issue

Digimon, SMT, Kirby, Doctor Who, and a few others all hold powerlevels just as bullshit as DC's. And I say this as a DCfag myself.

If Hal doesn't have a chance, name someone who does,

Ben would be fucked against Zeed

Well yes, but that isnt the point. The point is that DC has setting's with powerlevels just as bullshit as its own.

Fuck, that SCP thread we had a week or so back had DC more or less fucked because it had no real counter to that much raw concentrated bullshit in one place.

Isn't Zeed the only real heavy hitter of Digimon and doesn't Kirby lack any universal feats barring a throwaway line of infinite power?

Which SCPs were bullshit, 689 better not have been one of them.

>Isn't Zeed the only real heavy hitter of Digimon
Nope. There's the Eaters, NEO, the D-Reaper, the Seven Great Demon Lords, most high-ranking Angels, the Royal Knights and several others. Most of those are on par with Zeed, if not greater.

>and doesn't Kirby lack any universal feats barring a throwaway line of infinite power?
See pic. Void is a really nasty customer.

Attached: 1543550718268.png (720x406, 453K)

HAL HAS WILLPOWER WHICH LITERALLY MEANS HE CAN OUTWILL ANYTHING.

GOT A UNIVERSE-FUCKING ALIEN? PLUS ONE, ASSHOLE. HAL BEATS IT BECAUSE HE WILLS IT.

YOU STUPID FUCKING IDIOTS. READ A GOD DAMN COMIC BOOK BEFORE BEGGING AN ANSWER TO THE SAME QUESTION FOR TWO FUCKING WEEKS STRAIGHT.

We gotta do it until tomorrow for 11 days

He did his research.
Writer came in with a pamphlet of specific examples as built a strong case as to why Hal stomps.

Highlights:
- They touched on the fight animation not always reflecting exactly how fights would go. The most notable examples of this being what powers are highlighted and how battles end.
-- They admit that their concern with the animated fight portion is making it entertaining and in this case, although Ben had better Aliens he could use, they wanted to showcase fan favorites that more people would recognize.
-- In the case of battle finishes, they want to do creative fun endings instead of every other fight ending in a giant energy explosion, but put it to fans if they want to prioritize accuracy over creativity.

- Combat speed vs. travel speed was touched upon, citing that Ben's fastest alien, Jetray(?), uses portals into hyperspace to cover great distances while Hal actually just flies stupidly fast, and can even react at those speeds, dodging obstacles and stopping on a dime. Also on the subject of speed, the ring itself has an even more insane speed feat; searching the entire volume of a universe using a few drones "in a heartbeat". This was to demonstrate that yes, GL's scissors are faster than a "big bang" by a whole lot.

- I cannot stress enough how exhaustive this writer's research was on both sides of the debate, citing page after page and scene after scene from the source material of both shows. I could see the biggest complaint for those that dislike the result after hearing his explanation being the way they treated WoG statements as not as important as actions and abilities actually demonstrated with the source material especially when they contradict said source. They downplayed the importance of off the cuff statements like "Actually (A) can end all existence with one-quintillionth of a fart" during cons and shit really hard, in favor of "but what does the character actually demonstrate?"

No. The corps isn't for kids. Age him up and it would all but be confirmed, but not a kid. The corps is constantly equated to space cops, would you put a kid on the force?

Behind everyone in the magic scene. I missed him to.

Damn, a lot of research went to this

2470 could cause ZK-Class Reality Failure pretty much instantly if its containment were ever breached, the cakes would multiply without end, 498 would break the decibel system and erase reality, 3812 would ascend past narratives and casually obliterate anything in its path, 2747 would steadily emerge until it became fully manifest and everything ends, 682 is 682, 319 would initiate a False Vacuum Collapse, etc.

These are just a tiny few of them. There's no setting that could survive all 5000+ SCPs without some kind of highly elaborate warning system.

Does somebody need a WAH-mbulance?

>Digimon vs DC
>Digimon vs Kirby
Fuuuck, now I want to see those.
Alternatively:
>Hamburger Stuffin Superman vs Kirby

>Implying a self aware multiverse with access to hypertime and superhero antibodies wouldn’t curbstomp diet Lovecraft.

The MIB do just fine in the setting. Now make them gods.

Has the size of the DC universe been actually specified? As in actual distance from end to end point. It seems literally anything can cover all of it in no time at all.

It’s own setting survives them though. And DC does have cosmic defenses in place. It’s why the Gentry got one world instead of all of them.

If you can explain to me why Killowog surviving a universe reboot means Hal is the strongest lantern when he didn't.

>The MIB do just fine in the setting.
The Foundation has failed before. It has fallen before. That's why 2000 even exists to begin with.

Also, there's a Foundation in pretty much every mature reality and narrative, save those that have died prematurely or the ones where everything's fucked already. They regularly trade and exchange personnel and tech and info between themselves. Even then, they're still hanging on by a cunt's hair.

>682 is 682
Someone who gets disabled via nothing but acid, has died before and unironically gets shitstomped by Reptile from MK yet people try to wank as capable of being multiversal and FTL and capable of beating literal omnipotents? I'm fairly certain that while the others have universal to multiversal entities, DC also has them, and much more of them too.

Observable universe is slightly larger than IRL due to an Adam Strange issue but it’s true size is as unknown as irl.

Earth is still alive though despite there being 1 gorillion cosmic monsters.

Something else that came up regarding this: Hal's ring isn't just about making constructs. It is a magic wishing ring that can literally do anything, limited only by the user's imagination and how much they want it. It's really hard to quantify just how incredibly broken GL rings are. In regards to Upgrade's ability to hack into it, Doctor Manhattan couldn't even fathom its design and how it functioned (though he could destroy it) and he's a higher form of existence. The comparison made was your existence as a person compared to a stick figure you just drew. If Doctor Manhattan tried and failed to analyze that ring, the chances of Upgrade doing it are nonexistent.

Oh and another thing: People like to wank the omnitrix failsafe but after watching all the Ben 10 series it's not all they crack it up to be at the best of times, whether its desperately swapping between Aliens to try to counter something seemingly through trial and error, or just failing to pick the right one as was the case with the Chronosapien Time Bomb actually killing Ben when he should have had an Alien form capable of countering that (the same one 'No watch' Ben used) So yeah. It has weaknesses to exploit big time.

682 is just kept docile by the acid. It can break out at any time it damn well pleases. That's why they're always watching it for movement beyond what they allow for testing.

It's nothing compared to the other things listed, but turning into a Saturn-sized monstrosity would still fuck tons of people over.

Thats the thing though. It's died before. Numerous times even. In the 'main' timeline alone, 2000 has been used to push the reset button on th planet when everything dies more than once. And in other universes (not all of them take place in a single cosmos due to them conflicting with each other), Earth usually doesn't survive simply because of what it's up against or there being no strong Foundation. Earth has probably fallen far too many times to keep track of at this point.

>Swan ass fucking Benniggers
Beautiful. Is he, dare I say it, our researcher?

>It’s own setting survives them though.
Never all of them at once. Which was what that one thread used as the scenario. Some of them? Maybe. But ALL of them? That's genuinely impossible.

I think my biggest complaint is that the writer just kept going back to the “muh 1.5 quintillion times the speed of light” argument as a way to say this is how he counters Alien X. He’s taking Hal’s peak speed in crossing the universe at point blank, instead of factoring in how the whole reason you can move super fast in space is because of infinite acceleration due to lack of friction.

And has 682 ever shown the ability to become saturn-sized or greater?

What was your reaction when Hal stomped Ben?

Laugh

The chronosapien time bomb didn’t acutally kill Ben, it erases him from existence entirely, probs why it doesn’t trigger the failsafe

Wasn't Arisia a kid when she joined the GL Corps, pre-retcon?

Attached: 6DCCF801-EB27-4B0F-BFC3-1DD8ABFB9CF2.jpg (720x706, 162K)

One SCP (forgot the number) was used to predict what would happen if they sent the thing to the moon and then hit it with as much nuclear firepower as they could bring to bear. A single molecule of blood remained and then regenerated into a Saturn-sized horror that proceeded to devour the solar system.

The SCP's response to them? "Don't fuck with the gecko."

Attached: 28bc8f6af3647c3b7df4b25e480c01da.png (500x322, 240K)

Did they talk about the time Chromastone regenerated into Diamondhead or was that just considered a thing only those two were capable of doing?

>a single molecule of blood remained from just nuclear power
689 gets solo'd by anything that can completely disintegrate it with their DC confirmed

>Cosmic entities can't fuck over main Earth because of a reset button
Show some humility here user.

>Genuinely impossible
They're foiled by a reset button. These aren't exactly tactical geniuses here. Gentry had a plan and tactics and they STILL lost. I don't see why this wouldn't be any different.

Did the source material say that's the only reason he could ever move that fast? What about gravitational forces affecting him moving that quickly and around planets and stars and such? Remember, that ring isn't limited by just "what makes sense to me, the reader."

Also the implications of him being able to perceive objects and react at that speed is perhaps even more impressive than the raw speed itself. And if we're limiting Hal based on that, the same would apply to Ben/X even harder, unless there's some specific exception you can cite with full context.

That puts it at sub-Green Lantern and each universe in DC has an army of them.

That's not even getting into what happens when hypertime gets involved and you suddenly have to fight an infinite number of Lego Batmens and Super Friends.

>Fuck, that SCP thread we had a week or so back had DC more or less fucked because it had no real counter to that much raw concentrated bullshit in one place.
I was on that thread and you're a fucking liar. The general consensus was that it would be a busy few weeks for the JLA but literally nothing they haven't faced before. The only thing that could maybe be a problem was if all of SCP was teleported in DC at once.

Wouldn't you be if a bunch of retarded Benniggers caused a stink online and you came prepared like a fucking laywer to argue your case while they only know Green Lantern from the cartoons?

No, the blood molecule was just how it specifically bullshitted its way out of that one. It was once rendered completely nonexistent at one point. It got better.

2000 only works on Earth, from what I recall. Something like 2470 erasing the universe and beyond can't be reset. Or Pattern Screamer bullshit.

This. Hypertime is so fucking broken Snyder had to basically ignore Cyborg after his Metal powerup.

So if it only works on Earth level threats why haven't 2470 and Pattern Screamer killed Earth yet?

>The general consensus was that it would be a busy few weeks for the JLA but literally nothing they haven't faced before. The only thing that could maybe be a problem was if all of SCP was teleported in DC at once.
That was what was thought until people actually read the OP, which specified that all of the SCPs got dropped into the DC/Marvel universes. After that, the tone shifted tremendously.

Point being that the Omnitrix, according to ardent supporters, should have been able to sense the time travel and instantly protect Ben's life or existence or whatever, but did not.

Speaking of, Omnitrix sensing and reacting to time travel is also bullshit. The way soda bro(???) waves work is never explained to Ben himself, and even within that episode it doesn't work like a universal time sense but is actually far more limited, only appearing to matter in regards to future and past versions of the same individual or something like that. I forget the details besides it just not being as amazing in context as its being made out to be.

2470 has no idea of what Earth or the universe is actually like (they 'contain' it by basically keeping the amount of information it has regarding existence to an absolute minimum) and the Pattern Screamers can't do much until they're actively observed. There's also the Pixel, who can obscure the entire observable universe with a mere 100 deaths under its belt or so, but they bait it around in the empty outback to prevent this.

If containment of any of these fails for even a second, everything's fucked. So they don't fail. Ever.

Well Marvel is fucked since their limit is Beyonders.

DC not so much because it has a series of counter measures to cosmic danger ranging from the House of Heroes to Doom Patrol.

The DC multiverse has a series of counter-measures and early warning systems. Marvel just has the Captain Britain Corps and they're inconsequential for every big event.

Sotoboro Effect and the funny thing is I can’t even find anything about it on google, besides Yea Forums. Feels made up.

That they can be contained and misled at all is a huge limit on their power.

Not really. 2470 is basically a juvenile entity with unending power, the Pixel is a mindless weapon, and the Pattern Screamers only need a few observations before they can start doing shit like erasing intergalactic civs. Its no different from the New Gods locking thrmselves into an eternal stalemate, or Mxy being banished by getting tricked into saying his own name in reverse.

Suddenly dumping a bunch of universe/multiverse-destroying and greater threats on DC isn't something that a lot of its early warning systems can deal with. The House of Heroes can probably call in for reinforcements, but the Doom Patrol die the instant all those things get dumped on their heads.

Realistically, if you went 0 to top speed instantly, especially with Hal’s speed, you would tear a hole in reality. Plus the ring is the one mapquesting him, not Hal.
My main issue is that he’s using travel speed as Hal’s combat speed, yet he’s disqualifying Jetray for that very reason. Usually Hal would be limited by the speed of his own thought. Has Hal ever just Flash style “nothing personnel’d” anyone in comics before?

Jay Garrick listed Hal as one of the people faster than he is.

>T-Travel speed!
It's reaction speed as well. He was able to talk with Lightray and High Father when he caught up to their ROFLspeed.

>Kuro the Autist cries under the table after Swan destroys his asshole

>Realistically
Realism isn't a big concern in this fictional arena.
>the ring is the one mapquesting him, not Hal.
Ya see, that's the thing: He wasn't wearing it. And even if he was, it's Hal's ring. Part of the Green Lantern package.

He's disqualifying Jetray because Jetray essentially travels via wormhole shortcuts through hyperspace, which limits the implications of said feat. It may seem more realistic that way, but it completely fucks it in terms of usefulness for the specific context of a dog fight as opposed to a race.

Well if we throw realism out of the window, then Hal’s reaction times are less important too, because the explanation for that can just be handwaved away as “he’s a good pilot”

Okay, sure. Impressive or not, the fact that it occurred in the course of his story means the same thing for the purposes of comparing his top abilities to those of Ben.

I really don't care about the contest of who is more "realistic" between these characters, by the way. No reasonable person should. Just the very notion of that mattering much in regards to both of these insanely contrived fictional power sets is an unfathomable joke - realistically speaking.

Ben has full control since Omniverse

You have been visited by the Swan of ass blasting
Smugness, salt, determination, and accurate results will rain forward only if you reply with
"That's like saying Tupac can only be killed by drive-bys"

Oh he’s probably gonna fire back in a video

"That's like saying Tupac can only be killed by drive-bys"

Can the next death battle be Swan vs Kuro?

Alrights, its been 11 days
Can we stop talking about this?

It’s 11 days tomorrow
Kuro seems very sensitive, I can’t see that going well

He's an artist first and vs debater second
He only did the video because his fans wanted him to

>I can’t even find anything about it on google, besides Yea Forums. Feels made up.
youtu.be/rXn-y01qnWg?t=896
it helps if you actually watch the source material (it's mentioned earlier in the episode as well btw)

He posted his video as soon as he saw the fight, he just took it down and reposted it the day the fight came on YouTube

Wasn't mentioned. Likely because Alien X can do shit like that anyway so explaining how Hal can overcome that already covers it. They pretty much say that covers most aliens arguments for what could be thrown at Hal but just go over some specifics anyway because Q&A format.

They went over why Ben didn't clone himself and use multiple alien forms at once, according to some fan question. That was basically because when he did that, the copies weren't perfect and didn't cooperate well and it nearly got him killed. A lot of things have nearly killed him, apparently.

That's like saying Tupac can only be killed by drive-bys

And he only did it because people expected him to

I meant the name “Sotoboro Effect” and even then, it doesn’t seem like it works for everyone, we only have Professor Paradox to base it off.

He already has one planned. He’s going to “debunk” the Q&A. And in this case “debunk” probably means autistic screeching.

Obligatory

Attached: 1558880840641.png (991x524, 80K)

I would love to see that debate.

This will be revealed in Doomsday Clock #11

youtu.be/rXn-y01qnWg?t=739
here paradox implies anyone that can see time changes can see the effect, then ben uses clockwork and sees the effect in the clip i linked earlier. also, it's "sotobro" not "sotoboro", that's why you didn't see it when you searched it up

What about an actual fight?

>Compare Ben's feats vs Hal's feats.
>Turns out GL has more feats and they are more impressive, meaning that on stats and feats he has Ben beat.
>I.E he wins 'on paper'.
>This isn't two real life boxers, so 'on paper' is all that matters.
>Conclude based on this that GL would win.
>Come up with an entertaining fight scenario that's cool and clever and showcases both characters abilities as much as possible

And the little babbies zoomers who grew up with Ben can't realize that HOW Hal wins is irrelevant. He wins on feats, they could've come up with another scenario that made more sense but Baby Ben was going to lose. Yes, even if the creator was like "MUH CHARACTER CAN'T LOSE REEEE"

Amongst other things, high-tier Touhou characters can give DC a run for its money. And SCP was already mentioned.

The truth is that they were picking things from different iterations of GL that they like just because. Am not an expert on GL but at some point, they say that GL weakness to the color yellow was not a thing because it was a stupid and old concept but then, later on, they say that a GL survive to the destruction of the universe showing a comic strip of the same iteration as the one where they are weak to the color yellow.
Like, pick a fucking GL. If you pick the powers of the Silver age GL then picks their weakness too.
The same goes for Ben. Ben at 10 years old didn't have full control of Alen X, heck, he didn't even have Alien X but then they kill Ben by cutting Ben's arm even though at the time Ben has control of Alien X the Omnitrix had the Failsafe system on, Ben is practically immortal at that point.

>"Is every superhero 12 and a minority and trans and an empty vehicle for the author to force their agenda on people?"

What did Nova meant by this guys?

>Well Marvel is fucked since their limit is Beyonders.

I'll take "things pulled from my ass for 200", Alex.

Not on there, but they cite Hal was capable of fighting and injuring Captain Atom who destroyed and recreated the entire universe in a nanosecond.

There was a specific reason the color yellow weakened them which was addressed and fixed. No, user, the idea of them picking a weaker version of the character from an earlier point in its history, rarher than determining what is the best they can do, is not a good argument.

>Cartoon Network kiddies are claiming Alien X would win as CelestialSapiens are ONE ABOVE ALL TIER

MY SIDES

Attached: 1370404539123.jpg (2560x1600, 799K)

If you can't have backup in a Death Battle isn't Ben prevented from using Alien X by default, since there are two entities inside of it he needs permission from to use Alien X's stronger abilities?

Yeah, that was taken apart pretty hard. Total fanwank bullshit not supported by the in-universe explanation or events.

The concept of WILLPOWER in comics is there prefer Deus X Machina, especially with Green Lanterns. Hall has defeated reality bending beings because of stupid reasons.
Stupidity > coherent reasoning all the time. As simple as that.

Not really
There are exceptions to that rule
Jiraiya and Bayonetta kept their summons because they're bound by contract as part of their arsenal
Fate got his super form because the souls are within the Helmet itself IIRC

>Why should he win to a reality bending, ominipotent god?

Hal was one of those, once.
Then he died and turned into a reality bending, nigh omnipotent ghost invoking god's wrath, then he got turned back into a guy and all that cool shit got blamed on a space bug.

>Stupidity > coherent reasoning
If Hal has one superpower in spades it's stupidity.

>Kilowog survived universe reboot: fact
>Hal has been officially and in universe been identified as the most powerful and greatest Green Lantern ever
>Thus, any feat of power any other Green Lantern can do, Hal can replicate.
>Kilowog surviving the reboot wasn't because of something special about Kilowog, he literally only did because his GL ring allowed him to. Any GL could do that.
>Hal has kicked Kilowog's ass even without the ring.

Why is basic logic so hard for zoomers?

No because its part of his normal power set. If you have a hero named Doctor Bees whose power is killing you with bees, he's gonna be allowed to use his bees even if they aren't him. Likewise with Doctor Fate and his inner council thing, or Shazam and his - it's always there, basically standard equipment

Man, I loved Hal BTFO Ben but I think I would actually root for Kuro in this case. I'm a sucker for underdogs and Kuro doesn't seem as obnoxious or autistic as Seth and other.

I'm not complaining that they pick a "weaker" version, I am complaining that they are making an amalgamation of different iteration of the same character nitpicking things that they like and things that they don't for no good reason

I'd root for who's right

People say Killowog just survived the destruction of his planet

Kuro no. You're out of your element!

Reminds me of the idiot kids who think you can beat Flash by sticking your leg out and trip him.

>When someone saves your post
I-Is this what positive attention feels like?

Like Jesus fucking Christ. How you possibly defeat the concept of WILLPOWER INCARNATED WITH YOUR OWN WILLPOWER. THAT IS FUKING RETARDED.
no wonder Hal win

He also pointed out the Sobtobaro shit isn't reliable

Show proof that later iterations can't do what the earlier ones can do then. Because the researchers in this case brought up specific examples, in modern comics, that either suggest or explicitly show that those abilities were not exclusive to the Silver Age. Most notably the time travel issue.

You should sit through the whole podcast. It goes in depth about your exact issue.

Reminds of how Ben got super smug when Gokufags kept giving him death threats depsite him being a fan of DBZ himself

The Incursions BTFO Marvel's multiverse. Even the LT got raped to death.

SCP would give DC some trouble, but DC would pull out the "living stories and embodiment of eucatastrophe" level stuff and get armored up from the forge of creation while Doom Patrol save everything through inflation porn.

Marvel would just shit themselves and die.

>The ring is powered by willpower
>The more stupid you are the less you fear and the stronger you believe in yourself

What would happen if Zoolander got a ring?

It was the destruction of his planet brought on by one of those white waves of kill-everything. The same waves that deleted an infinite multiverse and killed Ultraman.

Yup. Soda bro is only a fun argument if you're talking to someone who didn't watch the episode in question. Otherwise it holds up about as well as a submarine with a screen door.

The Beyonders absolutely raped the entire Marvel multiverse singlehandedly, and then got nuked by Doom. Not to mention TOAA no longer being as almighty as it gets claimed to be.

DC can mount a resistance against SCP craziness because it has some experience in that field. Marvel has none, and will get utterly BTFO'd.

youtube.com/watch?v=wn5K9S3kNo4
But that is the thing, isn't it? That is a whole debate on its own. In my understanding, all comic characters have so many reboots and different iterations and parallel words clones that no one is sure what is real and what is not.

Well I trust the people that put the effort into exhaustive research to determine what the limits of these characters are, what applies to all of them, etc. And to their credit, they raise some of those same points and find ways to bridge those gaps, and acknowledge when they cannot in regards to what constitutes peak performance without limited time outside help

"That's like saying Tupac can only be killed by drive-bys"

Okay, you wanna debate this you cheeky cucks?

1. The Beyonders were defeated and killed by a bomb made up by a few a dozen Molecule Men, so based on scaling all the MM in the multiverse are more powerful than the Beyonders.

2. When the Multiverse was in threat of being returned back to it's first incarnation, Molecule Man (who had the full power of the Beyonders from Secret Wars) was unable to stop the First Firmament.

3. After absorbing the multi-Eternity, the First Firmament was so incredibly amped that it took multiple omniverses sent by the One Above All to stop him.

4. When Nyx the Goddess of Night regained all of her shards, she traveled to the House of Ideas (a place where the very ideas of comicbooks themselves originated from and the headquarters of TOAA) and threatened to remake all of existence in her image. Within that House, she was arguable the most powerful being in Marvel Comics; having only been beaten due to the very idea of "good story telling".

>He didn't read Doomsday Clock 10
Hypertime makes it so that the metaverse has all the different versions stacked on top of each other.

Somewhere out in hypertime, Superman is always lifting that green car over his head. It never went away.

Because it wouldnt even be the first time?

Attached: gl_20_cvr_fxn2oq2lsl_.jpg (1500x2387, 1.07M)

Fight should have ended with a fake out with Hal dying and then coming back and having Nekron slice Alien X.

>1. The Beyonders were defeated and killed by a bomb made up by a few a dozen Molecule Men, so based on scaling all the MM in the multiverse are more powerful than the Beyonders.
Molecule Man being stronger than a couple greys doesn't tell us much.

>2. When the Multiverse was in threat of being returned back to it's first incarnation, Molecule Man (who had the full power of the Beyonders from Secret Wars) was unable to stop the First Firmament.
A point against you here. You've essentially played yourself.

>3. After absorbing the multi-Eternity, the First Firmament was so incredibly amped that it took multiple omniverses sent by the One Above All to stop him.
There was no fight between them. They literally just chained the First Firmament and dragged it away. We have no basis for powerscaling, though by all means the LT should flat-out be stronger than even multi-eternity due to its nature.

>. When Nyx the Goddess of Night regained all of her shards, she traveled to the House of Ideas (a place where the very ideas of comicbooks themselves originated from and the headquarters of TOAA) and threatened to remake all of existence in her image. So Marvel can literally be taken over and erased from one pivotal point? Guess the SCP side wins in a landslide, since any mid-tier over there can pull that off, let alone the real big dogs.

What if Ben painted himself yellow?

Attached: 45309BBA-9584-46FB-8A5C-9A8ADB37F189.jpg (1335x1936, 790K)

Wouldn't matter. Fear entity ain't in the central battery no more so yellow don't matter

But what if he painted himself yellow AND drank lemonade?

Then his corpse will urinate itself

>determine what the limits of these characters are
Hum... no? They don't show the limits of each character, the pick what they are referring as "basic" of said character. If not they would have picked the GL when he gains Omnipotence. of course what they chose as "Basic" is another story.

It is by definition impossible for X to be omnipotent.

>Molecule Man being stronger than a couple greys doesn't tell us much.
Yes it does, are you dense?

>A point against you here. You've essentially played yourself.
What?

>There was no fight between them. They literally just chained the First Firmament and dragged it away. We have no basis for powerscaling, though by all means the LT should flat-out be stronger than even multi-eternity due to its nature.
Again, what? You're acting like he WANTED to go with them. They literally had to force him. See pic-related.

>So Marvel can literally be taken over and erased from one pivotal point? Guess the SCP side wins in a landslide, since any mid-tier over there can pull that off, let alone the real big dogs.

Nope. It only allowed specific beings inside that were already preordained to be there.

Attached: RCO026.jpg (1041x1600, 407K)

Completely false, DC and Marvel have a pretty even win/loss record against each other.

Attached: 69ECC3EF-D292-418C-B8BE-8B11E1C90785.jpg (2164x705, 373K)

>they favor DC!
>Batman has fought three times
>lost twice
Sure they do kid.

Could the Omnitrix scan Dr. Manhattan as an "Alien Species"?

Because he's not omnipotent and literal willpower.

What motivation did they have to lie about a quote in that podcast?
And why did they lie about cutting off body parts not activating the failsafe

Attached: thinking muscles.png (635x480, 493K)

No one is that extreme. It goes beyond pushing the edge of decency, wantonly flying off the cliff of decency and plunging into the mucky chasm of vice. Truly hardboiled.

Not standard equipment he always has ready access to, so that wouldn't count in determining Hal Jordan's theoretical limit based on his own individual feats and suggested ability. But he did beat himself when that self was amped on omnipotence. So another point for standard Hal.

Because ultimately there's nothing that stops Hal from just overpowering it anyways.

They have none and explain.

Who the fuck watches Ben 10?

I want this board to explain what omnipotence means.

Attached: 1538764574769.gif (1920x1048, 843K)

>Yes it does, are you dense?
No, it really doesn't. Especially when the Beyonders took out things that should logically be stronger than Molecule Man because "lul outside the multiverse." Which thinking on it, many SCPs could do the same.

>Again, what? You're acting like he WANTED to go with them. They literally had to force him. See pic-related.
And again, there was no fight. He jsut fell in line and his struggles were meaningless. No depictions of power to be seen.

>Nope. It only allowed specific beings inside that were already preordained to be there.
So it wanted all things of be destroyed? Because that's what you're ure telling me here. Which basically means SCP means by default since the Marvel universe is now suicidal by nature going by your words.

If that's true why would they need to lie about it, it just seems pointless

Attached: Untitled.png (69x90, 16K)

Mxy is stronger than all the shit Ewing had pulled from his ass while trying to emulate the one and only Grant Morrison. Beyonders can be killed by turning them into trees so Marvel's most powerful beings are all a fucking and complete joke despite having a more developed "abstract" pantheon.
L-O-L

>the omnitrix was fast enough to react to the big bang
>”We don’t know how fast the Big Bang was so we’re gonna disregard that feat”
Anyone who takes Death Battle seriously deserves to be made fun of

All powerful, as in power over everything, to do anything. In the context we use it in here, it pretty much boils down to "I think, therefore it is" on a universal or multiple universal scale.

It's funny how he got this triggered at the idea that SCP can curbstomp Marvel, when SCP can give even DC a hard time of things. So logically speaking, Marvel should have no chance against them if even DC can't "lulnope" the threat.

Same for things like Nobilis or Exalted.

Except they didn't stop there. You mad fuckers are so disingenuous it's not even funny. They calculated the speed based on similar phenomenon being VERY generous and it still paled in comparison to the feats Hal has demonstrated on the comic book page.

Attached: ben 10 popularity.jpg (750x674, 64K)

Then why not do the same with Ben?
Here watch this
youtube.com/watch?v=nCN6fZZQ-cc

Who would even question that given the current situation? I figured user was trying to be funny.

Ugh, Kuro

He would die painted in yellow.

How pathetic.

Bunch of beings who all have same abilities.
>Yeah but when BEN is that alien he's omnipotent!!
>But, asshole, all the other aliens of that species also have the same powers
>But Ben is mORE omnipotent!!

Goddamned idiots.

I'm not willing to go so far as to directly argue with the person making those videos to "defend" Ben, but I will say that they did do the same with Ben. And Ben came up short, by the standards of his own episodes throughout many series. He was afforded the same exhaustive research to figure out his optimal standard state.

Jesus Christ, I don't even think Superman vs Goku cause this much butthurt.

This podcast was so bais. The basically combine all GL feats into Hall but didn't allow Ben to do the same

Ben only has two incarnations, original and reboot. I guess you could include his older selves, but they don’t really do anything impressive in any of their episodes

Lemme just take all of Hals peaks, but not do the same for ben, while lying about some feats

Thor v Wonder Woman was a bullshit call.

And desu Cap would rape Batman.

It's pretty obvious when they bring back a character that got previously raped that they only bring them back to have them win and quiet the fanboys. Like when Spider-man absolutely raped Bats. Batfanboys raged with the power of a million exploding REES

Yes they did. You're angry so you're ignoring that they did, but anyone can listen to it and hear them go point by point over Ben's biggest feats while providing context and explanations that have not been contradicted in this thread or any other I've seen in the past week+ of this. They watched Ben 10 and gave him the best they could.

Shows how autistic Benfags are.

>Put a 10-year-old Ben to fight an experienced Hal.
Yea, definitely they did the same. I don't know why people defend the fact that Hal is very capable of killing a 10-year-old, truly a true hero

Bullshit and sour grapes

Funny thing about being a sore loser is that you’re still a loser

>Put a 10-year-old Ben
Yet they address his later end of series feats repeatedly. Are you that confused by a sprite? Or are you asking for versions that were treated as specific alternate reality Bens and not the primary one we always follow?

I stopped listening when they were bullshitting about what body parts trigger the Omnitrix safe feature. They still couldn't come up with any way Hal can beat Alien X.

Sure, Hal is way more powerful than Ben. But Alien X is on another level. It comes to be about feats shown vs actual power level or realistic encounters between both.

Death Battle is a hack.

Overall, if Alien X can't hurt Hal, it's a stalemate. So it comes back to feats demonstrated.

Attached: 1558934569652.png (260x260, 16K)

Ben could combine the Alien X and the ugly alien with the impossible IQ and he still wouldn't be able to fathom how much of a bitch and assblasted you are.

How? they keep referring to the 10 year old Ben without even the real Omnitrix on. They are at least 7 different kinds of Omnitrixes but they show the weakest one to defend their points

>Someone said my character would win so he would
Jeeze what's it like letting other people think for you

>REEEEEEEEEEEEEE

You're gonna have to elaborate, compadre.

No, they demonstrated that Hal could injure universe level entities, so that's covered.

>Marvel BTFO by an event that Superman solved in a single page that wan't even the focus of the story in which it appeared
>And did it years before Time Runs Out

The fucking Beyonders lost becuase they can't into linear time. That's weak as shit when every lantern has a time machine in his ring.

Marvel is a level 10 setting.

Stick to your level.

Attached: Superman vs Hickman.jpg (600x957, 162K)

What part of BEWARE MY POWER didn't the zoomers understand?

The part they really do not want to no matter what anyone says

They literally employ cats and dogs, a kid is fine.

>"The animation is just to make a cool fight."
>NO IT'S NOT THE ANIMATION DOES MATTER REEEEE
Oh no Kuro no. You were supposed to be less retarded than Seth.

What did Kuro say in response to Swan?

Please tell me Kuro is going to debate Swan.

He said the animation does matter

D I A L S G O T O E L E V E N

I figured as much. You couldn't pay me to bother with an unabashed defense force I can't just call dumb directly in a thread

Moron.

No but I mean about the Q and A responses. What did he say about that?

So he's just salty as fuck and won't admit it.

Alien X is Omnipotent. OMNI[POTENT. combining him with something else would only make it weaker. Alen X should be enough to shut up green lanterns faggots
>But Hal has defeated Omnipotent beings before
So? So Does has Ben. Saying that Hall kills omnipotent beings before doesn't mean he automatically wins. Ben has experience dealing with Omnipotent beings too but in contrary to Hall, Ben has Omnipotence.

No, he said that the fans were the ones who said that the Animation doesn't matter because he was complaining about how both Hal and Ben were represented in said animation.

I though Ben’s DNA meant he wasn’t

So you think that means he can disable the safe feature? Fuck off, troll. I don't see how Alien X can be truly harmed by Hal.

Plus Ben has millions of Aliens that can counter anything you can think of. Especially scissors.

Attached: 1558971087116.png (125x128, 23K)

Would you even pay attention or are you that retarded?

Unironically yes in this case.

DC's multiverse defense game is so good they went back in macrotime and saved PC from COIE.

Compare how the most jobbing Dream and the Endless ever did was having Dream's library catch fire from the Dark Multiverse and him having to send Superman and Batman to save the day to the abstracts that go down faster than a two dollar whore.

Compare how 1 Superman stopped in 1 page what the entire Marvel Multiverse of heroes couldn't solve in one event.

Compare how the heroes responded to the Gentry compared to how the Marvel heroes responded to the Incursions.

Marvel is WEAK as a setting.

Here's the thing about Kirby that I never see anyone talking about: we don't know if we've ever seen Kirby at 100%. Most of his adventures are pretty mundane for a character as powerful as he is. Even when he's fighting O2 and other space demons, we have no real indication that Kirby is having a difficult time.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's canon that Kirby is a child. He hasn't even fully matured yet.

Kirby is already a world-destroyer class character, and it's totally possible that he isn't even really trying his hardest.

Attached: 483da36aade544c69c0a12e2c51cb324.jpg (350x350, 17K)

His supposed omnipotence is one of the first things they called bullshit on, and revisit later.

SCP, Nobilis, Exalted, maxwank WoD, Awful Hospital (which is basically SCP: the Comic), Doctor Who, Digimon and Shinza are basically the only settings that can match DC, simply on the basis of having similarly crazy bullshit.

>Omnipotent
>Struggles with a being that was BTFO by a black hole
>Omnipotent

No, he didnt

Kirby can use an average wooden baseball bat to hit world-destroying meteors 9999 lightyears away and breaks super-sized planets with mere punches.

He is insanely overpowered, and people who whine about it are like the Gokufags who complain about Superman being too strong.

He wouldn't have to. The safe feature hasn't done anything that suggests it can just no sell Hal in and of itself. If this was just Hal vs. that feature alone, your omnitrix failsafe itself would lose.

Sounds right to me. What’s Shinzo though?

But he's wrong because DB has alwasy said the animation doesn't matter.

If you don't even know the fight was all about better shut up

Oh please tell me what I’m wrong about Kuro.

It’s literally on the video icon

Kuro is literally going NO YOURE WRONG THE ANIMATION DOES MATTER to the creators that have said time and time again the animation is to be entertaining firstly and accurate secondly.

He’s approaching Seth levels of asspained.

Go make a video about it since you can't be bothered to reconcile it here and now. Celestialsapiens can be vulnerable, they can be hurt and killed. Even the best one.

>The corps isn't for kids
Explain Arisia and Milagro then.

Attached: 1346213351999.jpg (401x611, 48K)

Yeah, but none of them are as important. DChads know this.

You know most Superman fans don't read his books because they like how strong he is, they read them because they like who he is. Stop getting hung up on feats.

How long could hal last against him?

Attached: ben.png (853x729, 911K)

lmao Kuro is actually losing it

Hal beats him in less than 3 minutes

I should go into a thread about who Superman is and tell them to stop talking about it. It's stupid and pointless but I figure you wouldn't do essentially the same thing here if it wasn't fun

Shinza Bansho, the greater setting where Dies Irae comes from. Characters lower on its overall powerscale can do shit like mass-multiply themselves all Elder God Demonbane, or cut universal concepts to pieces. Stronger forces, like the Hadou Gods such as pic related, fight by doing shit like throwing around multiverses as elementary particles and trying to overwrite their opponents Law (all Hadou Gods are essentially walking multiverses and their Laws reflect this) with themselves. It's crazy.

Attached: ReinhardDI.png (700x1052, 1.3M)

yea and he said that that was bullshit since the whole point of the video is to see the actual fight between two characters, not a bias bullshit.

>animations don't matter
>the Host doesn't matter since they don't even know the outcome as they were recording the video
>the Outcome doesn't matter since they will keep doing shit no matter what fans say.
All the videos are pretty much empty content

Has he demonstrated abilities far beyond the furthest limits of what we've seen from main universe Ben? Or do we just scale him to Ben but ambiguously 'better' but not in a way we can measure any differently against Hal's demonstrated feats?

Jesus the levels of retard in this post astound even me. The research and explanations matter.

Nah bruh nah.

DIALS GO UP TO ELEVEN.

Yah bro.

You literally sound underage

Cope more.

Oh k then
Celestial sapiens are the strongest species in the multiverse but they have one weakness. Each one of them has 3 personalities that must deliver to do anything, this argument usually takes eons to finally take action.
Ben has no such weakness, Ben makes an agreement with the other two personalities to let him have full control of Alien X so they can argue with each other in the corner as it appears they love to do so.
All this happens in the fight you said "Ben was struggling with" and he pretty much wins because he took advantage of this weakness by spreading himself in multiple copies those keep the Celestialsapien's personalities in a struggle on who, what, and when to take an action since at least two of the three personalities need to agree to do anything.

Two weaknesses

Two?

I will be satisfied with that

Anur Vladias

The absolute state of C O P E Benfags are in.

yeah why are people arguing after muh argument from authority told them to stop

Hal can die at least 4 times using lantern lore stuff before using willpower to revive himself or time travel, personally I would have prefered to see the spirit of vengeance

If you were told years ago that Ben vs Hal would be the new Goku vs Superman, would you believe it?

Frankly? Yes. I figured this show had this type of fanbase. I'd only be surprised it wasn't the third after some pony bullshit.

Totally, Ben 10 fans can get pretty crazy. And we all know about HEAT

1.- You cannot be Omnipotent if there are other beings just like you who are ALSO Omnipotent, you autistic and retarded fuck. By definition he CANNOT be omnipotent.

2.- If he's omnipotent and the most powerful form that can counteract everything why didn't the so-called failsafe turned Ben into Alien X to save him from the Big Bang and instead turned him into another alien?

Omnipotence disproved= you 'edge' is gone.

Hal= More experience, more feat, better stats, literally does the impossible = This is what he does every 4th week or so.

How mad would HEAT be if Hal lost?

Saint Seiya BTFO's all.

Arisia was actually several hundred years old though.

I think what made me mad was just how stupidly OP the Green Lantern ring apparently is. Hal is basically God with all the bullshit it apparently gives him so how the fuck does anything bad ever happen in the DC universe

>that issue co-written by raimi was secretly the reason nova was cancelled
If anything he's gotten soft through the years.

"He said it, so it's true" = "He said it, so it's not true" < "Here are a bunch of material to support my claim"

Oh fuck, can't wait for him to get his own DB, the shitstorm will be glorious.

In general too high power levels don't mean much, and are just a crutch for poor writers to up the stakes without doing anything interesting

If the material to support the claim matters then why care about death battle, they clearly glossed over and got stuff wrong with the characters. It was just a mediocre argument for one character with an animation attached

Dick Rider never gets soft.

Next DB is some Mitsuru vs some bitch from RWBY who is obviously going to win because the DB crew is about the least objective fucks on the planet

Not really. Pretty much all those things listed could delete the Saints with contemptuous ease.

Not every GL is Hal. Also Superman is the Patron God of all OP characters but his power and skill will change according to what the author wants to do. If you need him to save the universe he will. If you want him to spend a day trying to figure out how to get a kitty safe from a well, he will.

Could Ben beat Dr. Manhattan?

Just goes to show how shitty the Ben 1p fanbase it. Hell, I suck DC dick all day and even I thought Hal was finished when I remembered Alien X was a thing. So I really didn't care.

But turns out Hal does win.

You would be surprised at how many things in fiction are stupidly OP like the Green Lantern Power Ring.

Can't even think which character they haven't used could go up against him. Preferably someone not from animu.

His power fluctuates with how motivated he is. It's just for the sake of this we take both characters at what counts as peak performance.

>they clearly glossed over and got stuff wrong with the characters.
Such as? The researcher in that podcast knew his stuff

So who's Danny Phantom and Jake Long gonna fight?

Not even in Kuro’s dreams

>Pssht, he has never felt his cosmo.

You'd probably count on one hand that can fight him, let alone beat him who isn't from an anime.

Don't know Danny Phantom that well. Is he stupidly OP too? Also how come there hasn't been a fight with one of the Powerpuff Girls?

Maybe Shadowcat or Vision could go against Phantom.

The Choushin. Or Mercurius.

Unironically Bugs Bunny.

>composited one character and not the other
>Did not understand the sotobro in the least and claimed that its uncertain if our ben could detect it even though no watch ben just says that he can feel it and understand it as clockwork
>Took aspects of ben which he no longer has as weaknesses, but not Hal
among other things already mentioned in the thread

One of the more popular candidates for Beerus to fight is fucking Hades

How could I forget the original and greatest troll, he's got toon force on his side.

From Disney’s Hercules?

Using full on toonforce to disregard his established rules is kind of cheating. Also in that match up, all that matters is who initiates. If Bugs starts being an asshole first it'll end with him seeing blue stars

Toonforce is even greater than Loebforce also known as the Bullshit Cosmic.

Saint Seiya

That would be hilarious.
Beerus would get rekt.

>Mercurius
I prefer Vayeate

>Ben is in a trial by combat for what he thinks is the fate of the universe
>Struggles
>Omnipotent
Yeah right.

Danny Phanton is barely city level.

Thor vs Raiden was one of Season 2's best fights
If the animation was completely accurate, the fight would've lasted a single second
Same goes for Megazord vs Voltron, Optimus Prime vs Gundam, Samurai Jack vs Afro Samurai, etc

Attached: 1545442750836.jpg (905x807, 31K)

The saints bother my power level autism immensely. They were all fighting FTL by the time they were fighting the gold cloth saints and yet they take time moving between the buildings while Athena dies of poison?

What the fuck?

I'm not on either side of this so I'm just gonna ask this once. With the feats both characters have displayed, how does either character win this fight? I'm not saying either will lose, but how does the other beat the other.

I remember someone bringing up Gentleman Ghost and how funny enough, the two wouldn't be able to touch each other since Danny is a virgin

Yes, that is so stupid. Is like saying you can defeat the concept of Willpower with your own Willpower. Everyone knows comics and cartoons are heavily connected to real life Logic.

Attached: Typical+irresponsible+father+condiments+all+_00390140e4375e74fcf3a85325cbdacb.png (250x243, 132K)

The Gundam?

>composited one character and not the other
Repeating something that wasn't true the first time won't eventually make it true if you keep doing it. Also they analyzed how the sotobro thing actually works (and doesn't work) in the episode, citing specific dialogue and providing context unlike you. So vague statements of "I feel the cosmos!" aside, the shit just isn't as reliable as you're desperately trying to pretend it is. Watch the podcast.

Gentleman Ghost needs to fight DIO.

Two dudes from before the 20th century who died, came back more powerful, and fought a family throughout time (Joestars/Hawks). One is a vampire, one is a ghost. One is fabulous, the other is a dandy.

They NEED to fight.

Plot plot plot
You could also justify it in that attaining FTL is something they're too new at to access it reliably to just run. Whenever they access the 7th sense it's under the strain of battle.

Or maybe the Sanctuary is a special place that negates cosmo shenanigans to traverse it. You can't teleport through it if you're running the gauntlet IIRC.

Hal could remove the Omnitrix then stomp Ben with a big boot

It wasn't a vague statement, just watch the episode (same one the dialauge they brought up), he's pretty clear about what's going on
Also yes he is composite, hell not even just a composite Hal, he's a composite green lantern

What can Gentleman Ghost do?

>"I'm assblasted and can't defend my standing"

Disregard logic? Then stop trying to 'logic' your way into Ben winning. He doesn't.

Use logic? Hal wins.

Bennyboyos BTFO'd

Alien X could just stand still weal Hal try to kill him until the ring run out of power.

When either person loses their respective weaponsa becomes a normal human. The Omnitrix being harder to remove since it has built in defense to keep it on Ben while the ring can apparently simply be slipped off

Can Superman can do what any other Kryptonian can in terms of power? Yes, he can.

Hal, as the most powerful GL ever, can do whatever any other GL has done in terms of power.

I don't know why your peabrain has such trouble understanding this. It's not a composite of GL's, it's just he's the strongest of them. Period.

If the creators of Ben 10 say Alien X is Omnipotent then guess what, he is omnipotent. . How is that for logic.

As of Vendetti’s run. Hal doesn’t need his ring. He can access his pure will form.

The only other thing I can think of that is similar to GL's ring is Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal, they're both fuck you, I win items.

>Gentleman Ghost wins by summoning the ghosts of everyone DIO has every killed to kick his ass
>Jonathan and the dead Stardust Crusaders team attack him to death
>Jonathan SUNLIGHT YELLOW OVERDRIVES Dio while Gentleman Ghost claps.

Would be absolutely cathartic as fuck.

Travel to and from the afterlife, can summon and control ghosts (he invaded London with an army of them in JSA), turn people into ghosts (Super Friends), icy death touch, spectral energy blasts from his cane or flintlocks, can assume an intangible or tangible form at will. His intangible form can only be harmed by Nth metal (which is why the Hawks are his archfoes) and his tangible form has taken blows from Power Girl. He can also be harmed by one of royal blood (Wildcat was able to cut him because he turned out to be descended from Henry the 8th. Yes really.)

Possess, fly, has ghost flintlocks, and has an army of ghosts because his mother recruited them

>t. didn't watch the video
Kuro essentially says that the animation does matter because Screwattack never makes it clear during their Death Battle videos (the only videos people actually care about from them) that these animations shouldn't be taken literally and are just for entertainment.

>Be slipped off
Injustice shit. Lanterns have never needed to be in physical contact to control their rings. Hal was using his ring remotely and programming it with instructions as far back as the sixties.

Wasn't it listed among the rules during Season 2 or 3?

>You express your point well, but we don’t agree with your basic premise. The premise of omnipotence is binary – something either is omnipotent, or it is not omnipotent. There is no such thing as partial omnipotence. In the case of ALIEN X, the very presence of Ben’s DNA in the mix means that ALIEN X is not omnipotent because Ben is not Omnipotent.

Stronger doesn't mean he can do everything. A simple thing as "he didn't think of that" could easily apply here.

>Screw Attack never makes it clear
It's listed as part of the rules.

Cryin' Kuro has poor reading comprehension.

That was his mother? I thought he could summon a ghost army because he became lord of the Highwaymen or something? It's been awhile since I've read JSA though.

Why did they use feats from multiple forms of Hal tho

What? Under what bs scenario would Ben be able to take Hal's ring? Hal isn't hanging around with Ben, he's on his guard and his reaction time allows him to react a several quintillion times the speed of light. Even if he could, the Ring acts as if it was still attached to the ringbearer, Hal can use the ring even if he's not wearing it, so all it's protections and abilities are still his to command.

Holy shit, the creators actively decimated Zoomers

Ben DNA on the Mix? The Omnitrix doesn't fuse the DNA, it changes it completely leaving only the Mind stored on the Omnitrix and uploaded it into the alien itself.

>I just drew this stick figure. I proclaim him omnipotent. Now accept my stick figure can assrape any character ever created. Also I have no idea what the definition of omnipotent is but I don't care.

No, it's not.

Attached: DB Rules.png (1366x768, 1.24M)

Strongest, most skilled, most capable, most willpower.

They're compiling feats. Any feat a GL ring has ever been capable of is a feat that Hal is capable of. It's not that hard to understand. It's not what he will do, but what he CAN do.

You're going off into the tangent of the scenario ("He can, but WOULD he?"). Scenario doesn't matter. The feats and stats determine the winner, scenario is secondary.

Again I'm impartial here and hopefully won't get called a whatever. But what kind of answer is this? I mean I get what they're saying but it doesn't really prove anything if anything it's more of an opinion if anything.

All this argument over such weak characters
Pathetic

Attached: simon belmont op.png (1562x2002, 1.47M)

What do you mean? Don't recall them using Spectre feats or something like that.

It's simply an answer to the question of if Ben is omnipotent by using the Alien X form. Answer is no. It's not an opinion.

>Using the abbreviated rules from the video
OH NO NO NO

Alright I guess.

Dude isn't even the strongest Belmont wtf? He gets killed by stairs.

Is VS Battle Wiki the stupidest shit on the planet?

>Deathstroke
They would show the autism goes to 11 as they bomb screwattack headquarters.

I'm not saying GL wasn't a composite, which they justified by drawing a clear unbroken line between what he's shown capable of doing, his reputation, and his experience. I'm saying they didn't leave anything out for Ben. It just didn't measure up because they aren't as infinitely generous in their interpretations of lines of dialogue and outside statements as you are. Sotobro itself isn't some instant time spider sense that covers everything

And what you want is for all the alternate universe Bens to count, even though they're treated as different entities. Beardy Ben, No watch Ben. That'd be like counting Parallax Hal. But here's the thing: If they'd done things beyond what we've seen from main universe Ben, then Ben could be scaled to that. But they didn't so I don't see what you're complaining about.

Because either main Hal showed himself capable of doing that and more (such as taking over the central battery) or another GL did and he surpassed them (such as Kyle's big bang feat, whereas later he is shown to be inferior to Hal in power against Krona)

Logically, Omnipotence is impossible, That is why this are fictional characters, we need to bypass this "Logic" thing infavor of what is shown and what is the intent of the creators.

BUT YOU SEE SOMEONE SAID IN PASSING ONCE THAT CASTLEVANIA IS INFINTLEY BIG ON THE INSIDE SO DRACULA AND SIMON PUNCH WITH THE FORCE OF SUPERNOVAS.

EACH WHIP CRACK IS A SINGULARITY.

EACH SKELETON IS A PLANET BUSTER.

That fight is total PSI and you know it.
Man, they did our boy Kyle dirty with that one.

Well, with that logic. Alien X is Omnipotent, meaning he can do anything, so he is even stronger than Hal, so Ben wins, right?

What can you say to prove your point on something like this though? Regardless of the side someone is going to lean one way or the other when arguing a point.

Ben at his best matched the big bang, but so has Kyle Rayner. As Hal was able to overpower enemies Kyle can't (as in, Krona with all the emotional avatarsm including Ion) Hal proved his willpower is stronger than the source of all willpower, meaning he's stronger than the central power battery, meaning he can exceed Kyle's big bang feat. As the DC universe is larger than ours, their big bang was roughly ten billion times stronger, meaning Hal can project and resist more than ten billion times the energy X is capable of.

Nah, Willpower is stronger

Based and redpilled.
>this mad over the fact Simon could easily solo the entire Justice League, Goku and Alien X without effort
Cope

Yeah the more I'm seeing the more I'm leaning towards that Hal probably deserved to win, though I'm honestly still not quite sure.

I will say though that it does kinda feel like a part of this just has to do with DC bullshit though. But I guess that doesn't matter much here.

That's apart of Kuro's entire point, you troglodyte.
See

the creators stated that Alien X is Omnipotent. I don't think I need to further proof that, am I?

Willpower is so stupid. it beats everything.

His themesong alone could impregnate Perpetua and turn Doctor Manhattan into dissociated submolecular metacosmic nonexistence, and impregnate that too why not

>tfw WoG and In-Universe feats prove you’re not Omnipotent

Yeah I do agree if the creators said its the case then well yeah that should be the end of the discussion there.

I'll be honest, I'm just getting a headache watching people go back and forth on this.

...

WoG < the work itself when one doesn't support the other. Not that it matters, Hal can take on similar entities and has better math

See you next time then, user. Your health is more important. We'll soldier on here.

But that makes Marvel more interesting, it isn't filled with Infinite + 1 characters.

>Thor v Wonder Woman was a bullshit call.
Pretty much. They scaled Diana's speed to a feat she actually failed to perform, and didn't use Thor's best feat of strength, which would have made him about 60,000 times stronger than her.

If Alien X is omnipotent, why didn't he just get rid of those floating green heads when they gave full control, so he can have absolute control over the form?

Damn are benfags still this butthurt cause their shitty hero got killed?

>As the DC universe is larger than ours
What? Since when you know the full capacity of our universe or is that something one of the writers of DC said?

Because he couldn't see why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

see: The creators said that Alien X isn't omnipotent. All this shit is just pure fanboy shit from Ben 10-loving manchild weirdoes. They're no different than those repugnant Z-tards.

Pretty much

It's potentially larger based on some measurement of Andromeda something something

This.

Marvel actually has more hax bullshit than DC. Like Frankling Richards, Dr. Strange, Deadpool, etc. So they can do anything, they have no limit in hax. While DC has no limit in power and physical traits.

Attached: 1559165906865.png (634x634, 418K)

literally powerman

that isn't heroic at all. What do you think he is, A monster? Besides, the power is controlled by the three equally, they just decided unanimously to let Ben do whatever he wants as long as he didn't interupt there discussion.

Now you have to post it.

dont have it saved, can someone else cover it

Per Who killed Roger Rabbit rules, toonforce means the characters can do form of violence you can think of for slapstick purposes, but it can't kill or cripple - so it should be useless for death battle. But yet again, it's wanked to high heaven.

What are they putting in their videos? Ads for products. Who would consume that? Literal retards. Who thinks Hal would win? Literal retards. No point appeasing the elites of society(Ben 10 viewers, hypothetical fictional character death battle experts) when an upset win would both gain attention for being so hilariously wrong AND curry the favor of the dregs of society.

Can erase

Are you aware that "This" is basically every fictional character ever?

Attached: 091c1ab7f5142f857f0a1b3f4f7ea964.png (420x294, 39K)

Nope, you need real word chemicals to do that.

someone already post it before, but I'm too lazy to look for it. Even the authors said it's not omnipotent cause it got Ben in the mix so that's it.

Sorry you're this dumb, mate.

>ben 10 viewers
>elites of society
Fans of a ripoff of a failed DC property (Dial H for Hero) should not think so highly of themselves.

Jesus Christ his arguments are all just terrible.

Attached: soylantern.png (574x634, 599K)

How the fuck is omnipotence restrained by three people?

Ask the Catholic Church retard

Go back to your cheeto dust, rat. This is beyond you.

That's not the same scenario, but agreed. Alien X is simultaneously more powerful and more balanced and interesting than Hal. It's really quite the feat.

>restrained
God you're such a fucking idiot

The argument for why he wouldn't turn into Echo Echo might be the worst of them all. You can tell he looked up the episode after the week and had to think of something.

>t. doesn't understand the trinity

To be fair, when three can barely function, duplication into hundreds might not be the best choice

The functionality flaw was personality based, it wasn't a problem with power being split between them. The Bens didn't seem ridiculously deficient at 3, though for sure they might've all been lunatics by the time he reached 10 Bens.

Yes, it is indeed beyond me how you troglodyte toonfags can put up with such a poorly animated shit show like Ben 10 well into adulthood.
Did your brains not grow with your bloated waistlines?

>People mad a single Castlevania medusa head can solo all of DC
Of course.

They said the exact opposite of that though.

Attached: Omnipotence.png (1230x442, 130K)

Not Three people, Three separated entities of the same person

Simon can't beat Konami's apathy towards his franchise.

It is. They just get their asses kicked by shit DC wouldn't like the AYYY LMAO race of Beyonders that can't time travel.

You can match my rhythm but not my pace, little lantern boy. Back to the kid's table.

>b-but Dial H came first
No one gives a fuck about Dial H though.
>tfw the entire DC, Marvel, Ben 10 and DBZ metaverse and omniverse couldn't even destroy a single torch from Castlevania
B-bros...how can we compete with Chadtlekino?

Cope Bennigger cope.

>Just 3 turned the episode into that one Star Trek episode where Kirk separated into Good Kirk and Evil Kirk
>"Naw they wren't dysfunctional at all"
Benniger please.

Whoa. I was a big Green Lantern fan and thought he won this easily but I'll admit, I didn't know much about Ben 10. I guess ScrewAttack DID kind of misrepresent him. Did he do more videos on this topic?

>Simon can't destroy most of the blocks in Castlevania

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
HOW POWERFUL ARE THOSE BLOCKS IF THEY TANK OMNIVERSAL ATTACKS?

Kid's table? I think that's more suited to the man who watches kid's shows. I use "man" loosely of course

Off of me, maggot. If only you could form functional sentences half as well as the basedboy can malform feats.

>Falling for Kuro's pilpul.

>You are not an elite media consumer like myself
Stop posting like you have severe acne scars, tapeworm.

"H-Hero Time...

>i-it doesn't matter if it's unoriginal tripe ripped off from a then-40 year old capeshit comic
Keep thinking that.

He's not omnipotent, if he couldn't stop the destruction of the universe.

Because Death Battle is clickbait shit and the only thing they care about is how many views they can rake in. Pitting characters from different medias against each other is fun, but the second you take it seriously it turns into pure autism and you hit a ton of inconsistencies that most of the time mean there's no clear answer or no satisfying conclusion.

if I say that, maybe it will stop Ben from sodomizing my poor little lantern boy ass."

Attached: BenChad.png (1824x1408, 1.51M)

Is that picture supposed to mean something? Surely a fan of a medium associated with such lowlifes as Doug Walker and Mr. Enter does not want to point to the respective dregs of our communities.

>tfw those blocks solo Demonbane + Thought Robot Superman + Suggsverse + Featherine + TOAA + The Presence + every other single fictional universe ever that exist, will exist, will never exist across an infinite amount of timelines and universes multiplied by infinity infinities to the power of infinity infinities

>Seems you've forgotten what that logo on your chest stands for Alien X
>No I haven't Hal! It stands for Green Lantern! Please don't make me beware your power!

Ben himself saw the strategy as shit since they couldn't coordinate
Why the fuck would he use it against Hal?

By this topic you mean the GL VS Ben? Then yes

>Ben ripped off some literal who comic that no one has ever cared about because UNGA bunga watch and transforming into things

Jesus Christ. He's made 3 whole videos over 10 days? Doesn't Kuro have a job?

I'm surprised no one has made this joke before.

He has a webcomic
Good grief he's a married man with decent popular fan webcomic, just move on

the creators admitted they used dial h as "inspiration" ya zoomer mongoloid

based

>initial draft was heavily based on Dial H
>later became more of it's own thing because superheroes are gay and Dial H isn't a series anyone has ever given a shit about for obvious reasoms

Where can I read your fanfiction?

I will be releasing the patreon-funded webcomic Ben 10: Cumslut on August of 2020. It will take place five months after the victory over Hal Jordan where Ben is now 18 years of age. It will be my pleasure to see you there.

>Aging him up
No balls.

He has a webcomic?

Good lord, imagine how ugly she has to be to settle for a man that...that...what the fuck does Kuro even do for a living?

Danny Phantom/ Ben 10/ Other media crossover one, yes

That's funny considering the amount of hentai there is of Bennyboi getting fucked up the ass and turned into a sissy.

I ship Fem Ben and Hal

Attached: 60731EFE-BA6B-4F10-8339-4914E4935403.jpg (468x466, 62K)

He'd be terrible. His willpower sucks.
>I am too powerful to stop.
>My ring and I can take you down!
>No you can't Derek.
>Okay.

tl;dr deathbattles are dumb and you can talk about all the amazing feats you want that doesn't make it good or sensible

If Hal can just over power Ben with will, why didn't he in the fight?
Because it's not about whether or not the character is portrayed accurately

Ben kicks Hal's ass and makes it back home in time to sit on a FAT cock

...He does a Nickeloadeon fanfiction comic?
How the fuck is he married?

I'm... oddly aroused by this notion.

It's about comparing those amazing feats, deciding the victor, then making up a fight that's entertaining as opposed to accurate. Same reason why Superman doesn't obliterate Batman into a fine mist every time the batfurry feels angsty and talks back to him.

Hal liked fucking an underage girl after she was aged up, so he probably prefers taking it from a fully aged Ben rather than shota Ben. Although to be fair he does always have his alien transformations. Also patreon laws.

But user, no cock is fatter than Hal's megaorgy of tentacle hentai construct monsters.

It’s best not to question it
Neat I guess

He always has his harem.
Julie should have won

None of the older versions of Ben could control Alien X.

So, what I got from this thread, is that Hals Willpower is basically like Spiral Energy?

Someone should give them a ring.

>we could've gotten Hal vs Gurren Lagann
They even have the same initials

But not kittens and puppies.

You will be surprised by the amount of love a person who doesn't critique or judge another person for what he likes receives.

This is probably the most relevant thread to ask in. There used to be this site for the original show that if you put in special codes that came with some of the action figures, you could see what they looked like fused.

Does anyone know where there's like a repository of these? When I try to look for "Ben 10 Fusions" all I get is shitty deviantart edits.

He's just a modified human. If he still has any dna, it's that.

You mean these guys?

Attached: C51CDAC2-AD5F-4268-BC59-3EA79C126FAB.png (696x698, 518K)

Or you might be talking about like this guy. I think there used to be old videos of the fusions on youtube

Attached: 241B799B-8185-477F-A98D-04FC52E43038.png (454x731, 227K)

>Gravattack and Atomix are both some of Ben's most powerful aliens
>meanwhile Lodestar is shit tier
It's not fucking fair
That reminds me of the Create An Alien games Ben 10 had

Not sure if the Mummy was one of the possible ones you could mix but I could be wrong

This guy however looks exactly like what I'm talking about. I checked out Youtube and all of them are filled with like "Ultimate Echo Echo and Goop" shitty pixel ones mixed with the original designs

I loved those as a kid. Used to print them out and put them on my wall

>3812 would ascend past narratives and casually obliterate anything in its path
That was the plan of a DC villain once. So Superman beat him up.

user he's made three videos over ten days critiquing and judging death battle. The fuck kind of point are you trying to make?

Death Battle is too normie for something like that. It's also why we'll never get Gentleman Ghost vs DIO and Tekkaman Blade vs Rom.

If you have even a passing familiarity with DC you'd know power creep is so fucking bad that most characters are just outright gods with the shit they can canonically pull from their ass
At least a good 80% of the time a DC character should win in almost any match up out there just because the writers at DC give out reality destroying feats like candy especially with golden and silver age dickery

Yes, exactly.

Native American >>>>>>>> Japanese.

Do you know how rare it is to find a hot Native American girl these days? Their race is literally dying out from meth and socialist tribal governments. Most of them are hideous. Finding a hot one is like finding a shiny pokemon. You do NOT let them go.

I will admit I haven't kept up with digimon in over a decade but what the fuck happened that it powered up to DC levels of absurdity?

Currently the JLA is literally fighting the dude that works the cosmic anvil making universes.

Celestialsapiens are like people born from the sparks of his anvil.

The dials for DC go up THAT high.

>tfw Captain Marvelous vs Decade never over seven billion more Marvel vs DC matches and also because Power Rangers exist and MMPR being the only ones relevant to your average normalfag
When does it end
>Kai only liked him due to being a furfag

So like what happens every year in comics

It was ALWAYS OP. Gardner Fox had the JSA and JLA fight multiverse level fuckers all the time back in the sixties.

Felix Faust flubbed a spell wrong once and it nearly destroyed the universe. THAT'S how powerful the setting was DECADES before writers started adding more feats.

Exactly my point.

Uh the fuck does that have to do with digimon?

>What the fuck happened
Dude.
The Dials.
Have Always.
Gone up to.
11.

>Billy goes to Hell and beats up Satan
Holy fuck! Why did they think it was a good idea to match Carol against him again?

Rivalry

How would MMH vs GEOM go? Does MMH have any hacks besides his telepathy?
To beat Satan twice.

I think he has a hidden fire monster form

Oh boy, user. There's some crazy shit on the Digimon side of things. Anything regarding Zeed, the Eaters, the Demon Lords or other such god-tiers is something you have to see to believe.

Made me laugh.

Looked her up
She's not bad looking

Power levels aside, he's actually pleasant and chill

Pics?

Noice

When everyone is OP, no one is.

Are you aware that you can disagree with someone in a polite matter? do you even go out in the real world anymore?

His comic has a wiki and his wife has a page

>You will never have a QT squaw that wants to tame you

O...kay?

Link?

That's people who watch Death Battle in a nutshell at this point.

I watch it because it's still entertaining to me, and it's fun as fuck to watch the salt mines flow during episodes like me.

I can't wait for the "It was biased/It was because they didn't want to look biased" threads for Weiss vs Mitsuru next

It hurts

>during episodes like me.
Episodes like *this
Excuse me.

To be fair they set themselves up for that by involving a series they have a financial interest in in the first place and Jewing down Tifa in Tifa vs Yang.

5yl.fandom.com/wiki/Yvonne_Orpilla

>infinite acceleration in space
Holy shit, what school do you go to? Get in contact with a physics / astronomy professor and just fucking run this past them.

RT shilling vs Research Team's hard on for Persona and their promotion likely preventing another Tifa vs Yang disaster
Gonna be fun to watch

The same reaction I always have, grab a cup of joe, kick back, and head to whichever board the shitstorm is blowing to.

I kinda want to read his entire pamphlet

Me too

>and Jewing down Tifa in Tifa vs Yang.

Tifa vs Yang was from a month before Screw Attack even joined Rooster Teeth but for some reason people seem to think that proves their biased for some reason.

Unless you believe that Rooster Teeth was so extraordinarily petty that they wouldn't allow Screw Attack to join unless they're character won an inconsequential match from a (at the time) separate company, then trying to use Tifa vs Yang holds about as much water for bias as a butterfly net

Not to mention, Weiss would have an even lower chance than Yang at this point, because Yang vs Tifa was pre-Volume 3 by about a week or so, and as such didn't have a well enough known limit for the bullshit known as Aura because no one's had broken by that point.

We've seen multiple characters Aura get broken since then, and so they'll have a much easier time determining her breaking point like a fat man in a NTR doujin

Let it all burn

>Explicitly recommended Morrison's run
He's up there

Mergers don’t happen overnight you stupid bastard. They knew they were going to be team RWBY when they made the episode.

See:Unless you believe that Rooster Teeth was so extraordinarily petty that they wouldn't allow Screw Attack to join unless they're character won an inconsequential match from a (at the time) separate company,

Guess I hit the nail on the head with that one

Damn it. This is why they need to announce the next two fights. My interest is flatlined.

>Persona
>RWBY
>Anime shit

Attached: Mod ruling.png (1009x75, 8K)

It’s still anime shit.

It's literally not though
Persona is a video game series
RWBY is a texas made web series.

Neither of those are anime.

There are anime/manga adaptions of them that came out WELL after.

But they themselves are not anime shit.

Believe it or not, there are things outside of DC and Marvel that are Yea Forums material

God you pedantic motherfucker. It's still anime shit even if you don't have an army of underpaid Nips drawing a cartoon about it. Hug your body pillow in hell where you belong.

there's a difference between anime and weeb shit

like, Kappa Mikey, RWBY, Jaden's Smith shit, (You), etc.

Attached: 1559167992568.gif (56x80, 32K)

by that logic, Avatar, Korra, and The Dragon Prince would be Anime shit.

But they're not.

>Mergers don’t happen overnight you stupid bastard
>God you pedantic motherfucker.

I get the feeling this is the same person for some strange realing

I wonder why...

Why?
