I know it will never happen in a million years, but Zootopia deserves a 'high budget' TV show:
2x24 40min episodes

pro-life comic was the cannon sequel

Attached: nigga.png (209x218, 26K)

Some faggot last winter came on here and said it was in production. He said he worked at WDAS. We can only hope. That one guy who plays the Fennec Fox character said they were making three of them in an interview so who knows.

What would a sequel even be about? The only decent idea I have is all the mammals having to band together to save themselves from the evil Reptile Empire that wants to turn them into livestock.

Hard boiled detective story or crime drama.

based

Make them dinosaurs!

>Racism = bad and deserves jail.
>Mobsters implied to torture and kill countless victims = good and deserve cop's support to keep committing crimes and getting away with them.

>arbys comic was the canon sequel
ftfy

Judy is so fukin unbelievably hot

Cops are like mobsters themselves and its a world full of anthropomorphic animals in a society who make repellants for other sentient species. Itll collapse sooner or later.

He was making fun of Disney fans.

even though it's good to have male/female leads in Disney movies of equivalent ages who are just friends and not lovers, I unironically want them to become lovers in the sequel

More like
>Domestic terrorism = bad and deserves jail
Did you miss the part where Bellweather conspired to drug citizens against their will or knowledge, in order to create fear and chaos?

This, desu.

reminder to report this spam

That, oh please that.

She also destroyed /trash/ recently by stealing the second most impressive GET.

what was that one?
cops are always mobsters and thugs. prove me wrong

Disney's on a shitty remake hitch and the average ETA on sequels is 4-6 years after the first, isn't it?

Zootopia isn't scheduled for a release (or wasn't on the release calendar) for the next two years, so it'll probably get a sequel closer to 10 years after it came out.

Wonder if this thread will last the night since they have been getting deleted recently.

>the average ETA on sequels is 4-6 years after the first, isn't it?
Sounds about right with the 6 years later mark. It took 6 years for Wreck-It-Ralf and it has been 6 years since Frozen with the sequel set for late November.

Let's hope they won't chicken this time and bring the shock collars back in some way

Attached: 251450650b0a89051004d2f7bdcde371.jpg (1178x662, 75K)

Unless its in a prison scene for a call back gag you should probably just let it go.

I wish we had some insight into Bellwethers motivation, a flashback or something showing her victimized by predators

So does the lead actor.

Attached: jason-bateman-first-time-in-variety.jpg (1000x563, 204K)

She's regularly victimized throughout the movie. Did you miss the way the mayor treated her?

Attached: 1461368441599.png (1280x1038, 1008K)

>or something showing her victimized by predators

There is the constant torrent of abuse from the mayor. Like multi leveled stuff from throwing all his work on her, giving cramped working conditions despite being his number two, literally insulting her everytime he speaks to her, and probably other stuff.

But this is Disney so likely there is the paradigm here that evil people are evil in their core.

It's Disney. Why the fuck would yoy want to watch their trash?

I should add though that likely her and Lionheart were similar in whatever ethical metric you want to measure them by. Lionheart wanted to prevent a -vore riot while Bellwhether wanted ro capitalize on one. One hired mercenaries and the other hired criminals. Its up to the viewer to decide if bellwhether was a psycho because she always wanted power and was denied it or if she went learned to play dirty under lionheart.

Because its all disney now.

It took six years to make Zootopia. From the beginning idea to the finished product. Expect the sequel in about three more years.

WDAS is the only part of Disney where actual talented people work. I wish the rest of that company fucking died and only their animation studios left.

WDAS also made Ralph Breaks the Internet, which was a horrible movie similar to the Emoji movie.

Destroyed whiny babies, maybe. I'd let Judy jackrabbit-kick my genitals into a chunky stew.

Hopefully never.
They deserve a TV show.

twitter.com/thejaredbush/status/1131787165472452609
There's this. inb4 it's just some irrelevant bullshit.

hopefully never, burn furfags alive

It would just be a 2 hour detailed porn animation

I bet the sequel will be about catching the real nighthowlers ringleader.

Though I don't mind too much, this is just random unrelated furry shit.

I don't want a sequel about Nick and Judy, again.

Frozen joke
Haha.

How about reworking that "Wild Life" movie that was scrapped?

Mobsters were more of a neccessary evil than good. They cooperated with the authorities and gave them intel and support.

yiff in hell furfag

>Blackmail=The right thing the "hero" does

>people shit all over Judy in the first comic because she is clearly in the wrong

>artist goes out of his way to paint Nick as a massive asshole in the sequel

Fuck that comic. The arby's edited one is better.

>Zootopia sequel

Attached: Let It Go.jpg (1280x720, 53K)

I think making a prequel about how Zootopia was built and it features the early era of Zootopia with 1930/40s Godfather life style would be appealing for me.

You might be clinically autistic if you think they going to retcon previous movie and bring back early concept story for the whole universe

I would love a sequel exploring some of the areas they didn't really cover all that much like the Sahara area. Maybe bring in primates or reptiles.

Stop turning children into furfags

Stop necrobumping

Zonkpunch already made a sequel to zootopia

>not the first time you've posted this
>still haven't pointed out where someone got convicted purely for racism

_ ____ __ ____ ___ _____!

jesus fucking christ, Yea Forums mods are the cringiest most pathetic autists on this whole website
get a grip you sensitive bitches

Hopefully never. The film sucked. Sing was the better animal movie anyway.

Attached: sing-film.jpg (1240x827, 693K)

except it had nothing to do with animals, it was about singing while Zootopia was actually about an animal society. Them being animals in Sing literally had no effect on the plot.

Attached: 200_s.gif (238x200, 30K)

Considering Disney's latest trend, we may get a fucking live action remake of Zootopia in a few years.

Attached: wildlife-photography-eagle-fox-fighting-over-rabbit-kevin-ebi-3-5b0661e7e5168__880.jpg (880x587, 146K)

Why did it need to have an effect on the plot? Sing was hardly the first movie where the characters look like animals but behave like humans.

sing is pretty much universally agreed on as a garbage fire and a cash grab

If it weren't for the presence of lizards, this movie and zootopia could work as being set in the same universe.

It doesn't need to be, but talk about missed opportunities.
But it's Illuminations we're talking about. They're a marketing juggernaut before anything else. They just put stock cute animals on a stock cute story and voila.

I want there to be a zootopia trilogy with the last movie culminating in pic related.

Attached: 1458531774020.jpg (764x1101, 644K)

For the next plot for the movie needs to be about

>How the city is still divide between pray and predator.
>Gazelle is going to make a big consort that would unite the city
>Gazelle is targeted/threaten to not have the consort
>Nick and Judy are assign the case
>A flirting Gazelle and nick moment
>The bad guys attack and one of them is caught
>Turns out that the caught bad guy is one of nick's old (almost married) ex girlfriend.
>She is now in the case helping nick catch who ever hired her
what is your plot for the next movie

god i hate illumination eyes

always same shape, size and color.

>local fox is incredible smug at carmera while being ground against by smol bunny gf

Wouldn't be that hard after the plot of the first movie
>predators are seen in a new light because a simple drug is enough to make them go feral
>those who think like Bellweather or predators looking for a high spread the drug
>unlike prey going feral predators are incredibly dangerous
>electric shocks and tazers are effective at keeping predators at bay while the drug wears off
>shock collars catch on because "if you're not on the drug then there's nothing to worry about"
>eventually become mandatory as more and more preds either take the drug, get drugged, or lost it in a fight
>sad bear birthday party scene
A little contrived, but wouldn't be the most contrived thing in the series.

The fact that the film had to have so many different plots and premises in development makes me doubt they’re as eager to make a sequel.
Also no goddamn shock collars, if you’re going to attempt to make any sort of enforcement, there’s not a single analogous system for it to feasibly work in a modernized world that wouldn’t come across as highly disturbing

Why do you want shock collars so badly? I don't get people's fascination with them, and I'm glad they got cut. The part where Nick gets angry at Judy for having her prejudices is much more relatable and less preachy than the shock collar plot.

Attached: Zootopia-036.jpg (1024x1366, 380K)

it wont be as good without Rich Moore anyway. There's no demand for this sort of thing. Let it go.

It's like calling an Asian person cute, is it a real problem?

people are retarded and always grasp onto the idea that the grass is greener on the other side

Attached: 8C.jpg (600x444, 72K)

I'm not the same guy you were talking with before. I'm neutral on them in general, but they could fit if they were shoehorned a bit.

You again? Your pasta is getting stale.

Attached: 1420509948978.jpg (417x417, 46K)

To be fair, that was just him being the usual asshole mayor you see in all kinds of media, which kind of makes sense considering the situation he was in at that moment.

Still triggering anons with the truth.

Hopefully never. It was perfect as it is, don't want to see it being turned into a cashgrab.

for anyone intersted in Yea Forums type materia and antromorphic animalsl, i'd like to recommend Beastars. Basically a R rated, school oriented version of this and really well put togheter. Probably cause the author is an furry but thats not the point.

Beastars is better and more creative than this movie. I hope that Netflix don't ruined the adaptation.

Not even sure if im gonna watch that. Who the fuck said animals look good in 3D animation?

same.

They need to marry

>3D Animation
What is done is done.
I am referring to a change in the plot or changes of gender by political agenda.

Just adapt youtube.com/watch?v=3quYcNI3dOs with Nick and Judy.
After the first movie they decreased some of the prey/predator tensions but romance between the two is still something not all are cool with, use it as context and keep going.

>Mobsters implied to torture and kill countless victims
>victims
Nah, they all got what they deserved. Serves you right for getting involved with organized crime.

Well since the first movie was about racism then the sequel will most likely be about immigration. Imagine if in this movie they introduce Reptiles by having them arrive in boats fleeing from their homeland. We get to see their history, they give their reason for immigrating (in this scenario a war against the Birds, who are an arrogant ethno state species that despise non birds and occupy territory that was sacred ground to the Reptiles.) and they are allowed to stay in the Savannah part of Zootopia. Judy and Nick get involved when crime starts to skyrocket with the arrival of the refugees. Turns out the Reptiles have a different set of values then the Mammals and come from a more primitive society. They believe might makes right and alot of the new criminals are refugees.

Even the mafia from the first movie are terrified since the Reptilian criminals don't hesitate to kill, on top of the fact Reptiles have natural armor and weapons with their scales, teeth and claws and have toned killer instincts. This causes the mafia to gear up and be more aggressive just to defend themselves. The new mayor starts enforcing cover ups and affirmative action for Reptiles. Judy and Nick are forced to ignore any crimes committed by migrants, just like what happened in Cologne Germany during New Years 2015. The whole movie will be about Zootopians having to choose between doing what is right or what is easy. That's all I got for a first draft.

Attached: Saurok.jpg (194x259, 11K)

So now they need to kill Judy.

Actually if you watched the movie it was way more than racism. The main villain was literally trying to get predators to harm/kill citizens through forms of drugging to create some type of race war. Wouldn't expect you to actually know that though

So mobsters are okay and keep killing and torturing, got it.

When are Judy and Nick getting a 2D animated Disney show?

Mirage from Aladdin and Gadget from Rescue Rangers are already from 2D Shows, making both of them superior to Judy.

>Despite only being 13% of the population predators account for 100% of all violent crimes
