Now that's a unique opinion. Although I feel that there's a rule that the main character of a series has to be a representative. Like how there's Cloud but no Tifa or Sephiroth, Snake but no Big Boss or Raiden.

Then where's Mickey in this Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed? Disney would be a lot more protective of Wreck it Ralph than Sora. Disney's only hurdle is Tetsuya Nomura. They always ask him out of courtesy if they want to use his character.

Multiple interviews have stated that Nomura doesn't care about Disney and we haven't had a KH cartoon as to not undermine his vision. Nomura would get around this loophole by making Yozora the representative or Master Xehanort and Vanitas with either Terra or Aqua as representatives because he like the Darkside.

Something I want to say, and yes this is mostly is damage control, is that Shinji Hashimoto likely wouldn't be trusted with information that Sora would be in Smash Bros. Despite him being the co-creator of the series and an executive producer for the company, he gave a vague yes on twitter about Sora for Smash and deleted it later. Likely not a person you should trust with keeping a secret. Plus the "no" could be equivalent to no comment but this is still more proof of deconfirmation than most things we've seen this past year. The only person who 'needs' to know is Disney and Nomura, though I imagine Square would still have to be seriously involved. K.Rool's creator himself didn't know that KRool would get in, though I doubt that guy even works at Rare anymore so he wouldn't have known like the rest of us.
