Show was already ruined in season 2, and that ship was only one of the retarded choices in the final season

Ashi ruined Samurai Jack Season 5, and therefore she retroactively ruined the entire show.

Pb and marceline. Really any time a character becomes gay after having a full romance plotline, especially when it’s in the last season

The whole situation was worse because Bryke pretty much used the gays as a shield from criticism.

If you were looking for signs in season 1 then you are the kind of person that they ruined the show to pander Starco to. In season 1 their dynamic was still best of friends whose personalities were on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Season 2 was when they started building Star developing feelings for Marco and season 3 was downhill from there

You're right, korra/mako was such a horrible ship that not only ruined the first two seasons but left a horrible taint that carried all the way to the end of the show. Even korra/asami only exists because of how bad makorra was.

All the problems of korra can be traced all the way back to that ship and I'd bet actual money it was only added in the first place to suck off the katara/zuko shippers from the original series.

Pretty much. They are basically best friends in terms of dynamic and no matter what that never felt like it evolved even when the show was trying to say they were romantically interested in one another. As a result, chemistry that you can genuinely that they have with other characters doesn’t exist in their relationship. Hell, just from their few interactions including how personal they speak with one another, Marco and Kelly even have more romantic chemistry than Starco. How they manage to write a better romance for a side pairing that they drop offscreen than the main pairing is beyond me

LoK had to be decent to be ruined int he first place. Literally got a deus ex wrap up in the season finale.

Aang and Katara. That literally came out of no where. Even Zuko and Katara would had made more sense despite it being just as retarded.

Season one was trash, debatably even worse than the second. The finale was so fucking stupid.

Setting aside your description of Korra as decent, there was no Korrasami shipping within the show itself. They didn't even hook up in the show. They literally held hands without any emotional indicators and that was it. It wasn't until the show was over and Bryke got approval from Nick executives that Asami and Korra were confirmed by showrunners after-the-fact to be in a relationship. It's not shipping, it's not even queerbait, it's "Dumbledore is gay" tier character trivia.

It did ruin the comics though

zuko and mai wasnt really a problem. kataang was fucking garbage though, and it makes sense why since it was the korra guys pushing that ship in the original show

Every season of Korra was trash, in new and creative ways. The best it ever got was the first bit of season 4, before Korra got the poison out and it looked like Kuvira was going to be morally gray.
