For me, this saga was the series finale. The abrupt drop in quality in season 7 was pretty jarring.

Damn, going through the series for the first time and I just started season 7

Bobbie suppose to be a loser. But he ended up with multiple girls.

What am I looking at here!

>Bobbie suppose to be a loser.
Is he?

I can't believe this show is still on the air. How many seasons are we up to now?

Well, he’s not right

>he’s not right
He was worse in the first few seasons. They gave him a more comedian personality with time which I'm not sure is more of a retcon or on purpose as part of growing older.

The adopted asian girl with the gay father liked Bobby too.

13 seasons, but the series ended in 2010.

>Connie
>Dansu girl
>Tid Pao
>This chick
Kahn was right to question why Asian girls were drawn to Bobby.

Monks believed he was the dailai lama, and in Joseph's spirit quest Bobby was a panda.

Coz he was chubby!

amazing how far confidence and a sense of humor can get you despite looks with girls eh?

>amazing how far confidence and a sense of humor can get you despite looks with girls eh?

That's no joke that's how my brother married 2 times, it's just keeping it that gets some men.

get out

>you want sucky sucky?

Well she has to compensate somehow

Pretty sure she was being coerced

Women are attracted to self-confidence and they know how to spot a man who genuinely exudes it.

>episode hints at naked Connie but never delivers

I'm still mad.

>series ended almost a decade ago
>still no good smutty fics with these two
i'm not mad just... disappointed

talked in a recent thread about how little KotH porn there is for some reason when you consider how long it ran for

the not-conventionally-attractive art style probably has something to do with it, it's hard to make characters that are deliberately drawn to be homely look attractive and sexy

>tfw no Monkey-chan gf
Bobby was lucky.

>tfw no more early 2000s, cool Japan episodes

Gets it from his Granddad

They're children

Bobby is a Texan hero

Bobby is less demanding and more understanding of Asian girls. He doesn't pressure them to succeed like their Asian Fathers and Boyfriends do.

Later seasons still hold up, it's just that King of the Hill doesn't work with plots involving pop culture fads or current events.

>what is ageing up?

To be fair, only a handful of episodes ever did that.

This was a good Bobby scene

I always enjoyed the episodes where Hank figured out that while Bobby was a bit different in his own way he was still all right. Like the Thanksgiving episode right up until Peggy ruins everything.

DDR used to be a thing.

FAT WHITE LUMP!

>right up until Peggy ruins everything
isn't that like every other episode

They were drawn to gaijin.

reminds me of bob's burgers which is very similar in that regard

What do you think ended up happening with them when they grew up?

>Married
>He's a comedian telling stories about his insane mother, anal as fuck dad, and weird extended family
>Also prop comedy
>Khanie becomes a musician and stay at home mom.

Hank's conversation with Cotton from the military academy episode comes to mind:

>Wuh!? I was merciless! I dropped down on him like a steam trunk full of concrete!
You didn't budge him did you?
>I don't get it. What's so funny?
I told you it wasn't easy. You didn't believe me, did you, Dad?
>I guess he was just born a pile of mush.
Well, I guess you could say that. But maybe mush isn't all bad. You can keep stomping on it but it's all give; it just stays mush. You can't build it up but you can't break it down, either. In a funny way, mush kind of has the edge.
>Heh. Can you imagine that pile of mush in the POW camps? He would've driven them Tojos crazy. Three days with Bobby and they would've quit the war! Ha!

It's the last episode that does anything interesting with Cotton at least. Every Cotton episode after except maybe the military school one was bland.

True to real life. Asian girls are drawn to pretty awful looking white men.

It's weirdly ironic that Bobby Hill memes are big in Taiwan and China too, to the point he's on stickers and phone cases. Coincidence?

How did Bobby meat his Special friend

Bobby would become a supervisor in whatever job he fell into and was passionate about by combining his talent for comedy, interest in the job, and laid back nature. He'd move out of Arlen but visit his family often and have a somewhat awkward but respectable relationship with Hank and Peggy would finally be really proud of her boy and brag about him every chance she got to everyone and live vicariously through his belated achievements.

Connie would probably move away to go college and never look back. People don't marry their childhood friends.

>People don't marry their childhood friends
No they marry there highschool friends. You can't forget this is in the south too I believe.

redbubble is for ironic meming normalfags though

There both teenagers

It's because he's the reincarnation of Lama Sanglug

I married my middleschool gf.
Shit’s cash.

Lolidus.

Bobby was an okay guy, even if he had some spergouts. He always seemed sincere even if he was kind of dumb in what set himo ff. I think Asian cultures can be blunt but not necessarily sincere, if that makes sense.
Also he was apparently the reincarnated Lama Sanglug

Why does this show have so many asian characters anyway?

How would you execute a King of the Hill revival?

I'd have a timeskip and have it set in 2010. It would examine all the factors that led to all the crazy clownworld shit we're experiencing today.

>that guy on /r9k/ who posted that picture every day for months

Completely different part of the South. The name is the only consistency between respective shows. Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana. I would love to set it in my home state of Mississippi. Instead of an alleyway it's a front porch, and weed is added to go along with the ice chest full of beer. Instead of four heteronormative men you have at least one non typical "girl who hangs out with guys" woman and one gay guy who doesn't register as gay. These are adults in their 20's and 30's who never got married or had kids. Their family and friends are all living like the original KotH, but these schmucks are too broken and chaotic to fall into that trap. Our protagonist is the most responsible of his friend group, and much more cynical than Hank. Not a Christian, and far more bitter about his job where his work ethic is taken advantage of by lazy supervisors. Suicide is a constant idealogical threat, though it will only happen to a couple of characters through the whole series. Eventually someone leaves for Austin or New Orleans so you can have a recurring B plot. The bartender of the local dive bar is a bald fat guy who lives alone with all his dogs, and can be the Bill stand in. Dale is an attractive but otherwise nerdy guy whose nurse wife is the primary bread winner, making him something of a trophy husband. These are the people who get pissed you can't buy Beer before noon on Sundays.

Not gonna lie, unless you market this idea as a spiritual successor to king of the hill, it'll be a fucking awful revival.

Then where the hell is my harem then user?

It's supposed to be ironic. None of the girls would like him if they knew what sort of man his grandpa was, a fact they would have to deal with if they ever married him. It's a set-up for awkward moments in the future.

This idea is weird; it's not an unrealistic depiction of some people I know, but it makes me want to kill myself.

Isn't that part of a wider phenomenon where xenophiles tend to chase people that aren't considered very attractive by their own race?

Because azn girls are easy AF as long as you're white and have a penis.

other series that played this trope;
>American Dad: Steve + Akiko
>The Simpsons: Comic Book Guy + That Japanese girl

There would be a time year timeskip. Lucky and Luann would be written out of the show due to their voice actors deaths. I'd probably have those characters would be killed off somehow and it would be something Hank needs to get closure on.

I'd definitely have Bill be less of a pathetic loser . He was definitely my most hated character.

What kind was he?

>Bobby would become a supervisor in whatever job he fell into and was passionate about by combining his talent for comedy, interest in the job, and laid back nature.
Shit, he becomes David Brent

That would only really be a problem if he was with a Japanese girl, surely. Wasn't Cotton the only one to recognise that Kahn's family were Laotian in the first episode? Plus, Cotton would be dead in the future anyway.

What's weird is that he stayed a loser despite getting into a stable relationship with Kahn's mother that was never followed up on.

Then what does the black guy get.

That sounds more like an entirely new show that takes inspiration from the broader strokes of KotH than a direct follow-up. It also sounds like it'd draw from Megg Mogg and Owl.
