Your assessment is ambiguous at best, but I'd definitely say Raphael and Angie are some of the most consistent characters in the show. But if "consistency" makes for a "good" character, then Pony Head also ends up in that column. And that's just a flat out lie.

That's been a thing in cartoons since at latest The Flintstones, but likely even before that. Why is it done? Best I can figure it puts more emphasis on the upper body, which is mainly where male shapes differ, and the women will generally still have conventionally attractive proportions.

Marco is wasting his genes. Everything these two produce comes out sexy. And what does Marco do? Does he pick the smoking hot athlethicc skater girl? No. He picks the girl with manlet and no-chin pie folk genes. Imagine how hot a Jarco daughter all grown up would be. Now imagine the Starco daughter-- stout, chinless, and possibly riddled with congenital defects from being born with a biology suited to magic in a magic-less world. Which reminds me, does Star still have wings?
