Mickey Mouse comics combine the worst parts of Disney comics.

First of all, they are predominantly made by the Italians who make shitty fanfiction-tier comics (with Romano Scarpa being the sole exception). And secondly, they feature Mickey Mouse, the most boring and identity lacking goody-two-shoes ever created. There some hints of brilliance found among stuff where he is a detective but that just feels like a different character wearing Mickey's face.

Going by how it went down with Walt Disney, I assume the ‘canon’ is that Oswald was born from rabbit parents until a few years later, some complications arises which resulted in divorce, and later the parents fighting over custody for Oswald, which would later be a scarred memory for him.
In the end, his mother gets to keep Oswald, and his rabbit dad moves out of the household. Rabbit dad marries a mouse girl who later gives birth to Mickey; Mickey never finds out about his half brother until years later in his adult life.

Back to Oswald, his mother is constantly working to support the both of him, so he never gets to see his mother a lot and the income is steadily falling. She later dies when Oswald was old enough to do a couple of odd jobs.
One of these odd jobs was being a limousine driver (Banker’s Daughter), which was awful since he had to constantly deal with some snooty old cat who blows his nose with money, but at the same time it was a blessing, as this job allowed him to meet the rich bastard’s daughter, Ortensia, the girl of his dreams.
Oswald and Ortensia of course hit it off immediately, but J.P. Whiskers did not approve of this relationship and had tried several times to separate the two, but alas, the love was too strong.
Ortensia later ran away with Oswald and they eloped, not caring that he came from a poor household (“not much money, but oh my honey, ain’t we got fun”). They have 420 children, and Oswald swears to become the best father in the world and spends lots of time with his children, while working as an engineer which Ortensia has encouraged as she loved his inventions.

After Ub and Walt parted ways, Ub Iwerks did some Flip the Frog cartoons. I think all the lewd content in the 1927-1930 work was his idea, because I think there were a few Flip cartoons where the principal female character was a well-proportioned human woman. I wonder who owns his trademark now.

After Oswald's design changed a few times, he ended up as a side character to Woody Woodpecker in both cartoons and comics. so that's the family he ended up with I guess.

i'm not sure any coherent story could come from this creator-and-studio-as-parents thing, unless the story you were telling was the story of the people behind the cartoons.
