Here's one I'd love to see: Instead of a small town being hostile to friendly outsiders, I'd like see a small being friendly to hostile outsiders.

>the protagonist tries to redeem or convert the antagonist even if they don''t deserve it, but not for any morally commendable reasons, they just really like them

first ep of horse show

>Hero has big showdown with his arch nemesis who he’s battled countless times
>Nemesis treats it like a nuisance and never considered the hero anything beyond annoying

>Instead of a small town being hostile to friendly outsiders, I'd like see a small being friendly to hostile outsiders.
Makes me think of that South Park episode where the actors stay in character even when they're being robbed

The character shown to be the most powerful are actually the most aloof when it comes to power, fighting, and any activity that doesn't provide a good time

In stead of the nerd/loser gaining super powers its a Jock/Chad that gets them. The Chad is a really nice person who only has some ego problems and tries to make use of his powers to help people.

a small being who is friendly to hostile outsiders?

Instead of a dirty old man creeping on young women and being lectured about objectifying them, I think it would be funny if there was a very prude old man who wanted women to cover themselves but the female characters actually wanted to be scantily clad and ogled.

I meant a small town, but Yea Forums doesn't let you go back and edit your posts. Sorry about that.

is carl trying to breastfeed through his wifebeater????

not Yea Forums but there was the judge from the court episode of Panty and Stocking where they killed Ren and Stimpy

Holy fucking yikes how fucking new are you?

This is Doctor Horrible.

Captain Hammer wasn't even that bad a game. Suffered from arrested development, was bad in bed, slept around a lot, but obviously wasn't cruel. Billy was the /r9k/ school shooter the entire time.

>Captain Hammer wasn't even that bad a game. Suffered from arrested development, was bad in bed, slept around a lot, but obviously wasn't cruel. Billy was the /r9k/ school shooter the entire time.

Captain Hammer was just a showoff and self-serving bully. Horrible had good intentions, even if his methods were wrong. They were both about 50% a hero and 50% a villain.

Tell me one BAD thing the Captain did besides being a self-centered jerk.

Like he was rude and thoughtless, stole too much credit, and obviously thought of the homeless as lesser people (much like most rich people do) but despite everything he did actual good while Billy terrorized, stole, and killed.

There's no such thing as "Doctor Horrible becoming Doctor Horrible", it was Billy the entire time.

>In stead of the nerd/loser gaining super powers its a Jock/Chad that gets them. The Chad is a really nice person who only has some ego problems and tries to make use of his powers to help people.

or nerd gets power and abuses it, and chad is recruited to stop them

Doctor Horrible never killed anyone; that's why Bad Horse made a big deal out of that if he wanted to join his league of villains. Even when confronted with the man he hated the most, Captain Hammer, Billy couldn't bring himself to kill him. Or at the very least, he hesitated for too long. Hammer, on the other hand, was quite willing to kill Billy without second thoughts.

This is kind of the dynamic with the Doctor and the Master on Doctor Who. Literally everyone else sees the obvious truth that the Master should be killed to prevent them causing anymore misery but the Doctor continuously spares them because they're friends and he can't accept that they're not salvageable.

major character gets killed by some random person. or in an otherwise anti climatic way

love this. Important character just sticks his head out from cover and gets shot by a nameless grunt. doesn't bleed out slowly giving a dying soliloquy. Just dies instantly. Other character don't have time to react cause of the danger, they have to keep moving. Maybe we'll see them morn in a future episode, but there's no time right now.

Dbz abridged

i'm a sucker for tall tomboy/short feminine man pairings

Not Yea Forums I guess, but they do this really well with a major character in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Just gets randomly shot in the middle of a gunfight and nobody has time to react.

>bad guy gets converted to good
>he doesn't commit a heroic sacrifice 5 minutes later to achieve atonement through death

Happens in RD2 a couple of times as well.

You're just gay.

I fucking wish female characters were written well/funny. All I keep seeing is garbage and I want good funny female characters.

somebody has their fall broken by garbage or something "soft" and still gets pretty badly injured. or dies
