There are cases of people getting banned from all-you-can-eat restaurants for eating too much
Homer had the right to eat as much as he wanted, but he tried to stay beyond business hours. The Sea Captain threw him out because they were closing, not because he was eating too much.
The Captain should have won, but the jury fulla fatsos were biased in Homer's favor.
A lot of buffets post time limits at the entrance for this reason. All You Can Eat (in two hours, then you have to leave).
You
That's really just politeness. No business is obligated to remain open just because you're being overly literal about the phrase "all you can eat"; they're running an eatery, not a flophouse.
Sneed
Then it's not ALL (You) can EAT is it, ASSHOLE.
Than don't advertise as all you can eat.
>then we went fishing
Homer really should be fatter than he is now.
Stop being a fucking child
Do you ask for a refund because you’ve had better food when they advertise “best in town!”
Best in town is technically subjective, all you can eat is not.
It's amazing how you have to change the argument into something completely different in order to refute it.
He JUST FUCKING SAID to not be too literal and look what you fucking do.
It’s amazing how you take things so literal and don’t understand social norms.
I replied to the wrong post, apologies
THAT COULDVE BEEN ME!
They are not saying I will have the best meal, just that they are the best, very specific difference.
Most social norms condemn false advertising not defend it.
sneed
Homer didn't even ask for a refund, just to finish eating.
I’ve literally never seen a time limit.
