siiiince they basically gave wanda her powers?
Anyone else nervous about MCU Jean
especially cause wanda's comics powerset is actually interesting
But they won't be the same because MCU Jean will be black.
>wanda her powers
Which are?
They should not bother doing MCU Jean
We already got 20 years of those X Old Farts
Go straight to the New Mutants, X-Force and X-Factor, then move to Gen X and New X-Men
telekinesis, dude. in the comics scarlet witch just has “hex powers” which affect probabilities and ‘luck’ to make shit happen. in the movies she’s just... telekinetic
Who gives a shit Jean Grey has been terrible since she came back to life because some faggot wanted to write the original line up because he thought he could jerk him self off to it and was willing to fuck over the industry to do it.
Yes I'm still fucking pissed. No it having been like 20 fucking years hasn't helped.
Jean is very fine. shut up hater
Give Jean chaos magic then
Fuck off, just because redheads make your dicklet hard doesn't make her good. She's not even the best looking redhead the X-men have had anyway because she usually gets drawn like she's anorexic.
>which affect probabilities and ‘luck’ to make shit happen
That has never made sense to me
oh no two people have similar powers fucking kill yourself
>Fuck off, just because redheads make your dicklet hard doesn't make her good. She's not even the best looking redhead the X-men have had anyway because she usually gets drawn like she's anorexic.
What books you were reading? LOL
Jean is pretty hot redhead. I bet you prefer slut Emma?
I like Jean because of her character and powers. I know it might seem crazy but you can like something without wanting to fuck it
No, though I imagine a zoomer like you would jump to Emma Horsefucker Frost, Jean's consistently been drawn more boney than average since even before she died back in the day.
He's talking about the fact that Jean is drawn super boney. People used to joke about it back in the 80s to 90s. When Madelyne Pryor became a thing and had an ass and tits you could bounce coins off of it just got more hilarious because Jean's not even as sexy as her own fucking clone.
Definitely didnt understand until I got older. Basic reality warper
Her Chaos Magic, with its connection to emotions and contrast with Order Magic, the lore surrounding Chthon and Agamotto, and the character arc it gives Wanda adds alot to her character.
Her mutant powers, on the other hand, are generic and undefined, and are largely static character wise.
>"super boney"
When did that ever happen?
this. i like jean also for these reasons
hold on- wanda's chaos magic is different from her mutant reality warping powers? like she had the powers then learned the magic or what? always assumed they were one and the same
>hold on- wanda's chaos magic is different from her mutant reality warping powers? like she had the powers then learned the magic or what? always assumed they were one and the same
It depends on who's writing her, most Avengers writers seemed to want to take their own turn at redefining her power. Originally from her 1964 introduction, she had a mutant "hex power" that affected probability, and learned real magic from Agatha Harkness in the 1970s, they were two different powers, but she could sometimes combine the two.
The "chaos magic" explanation for her powers is from the late 1990s, and merged her abilities into a mutant power to wield magic. It seems to be the most popular with fans, and is tied to the Chthon lore, but her powers and origins have changed several times since then, continuity doesn't matter to Marvel anymore, so her powers and history are whatever the current writer says they are.
The reality warping powers were only when Bendis was writing her, and was later revealed as power from The Life Force, she shouldn't have that ability anymore. As of her current origin, she's not a mutant, her powers are all magical, but come from experimentation by the High Evolutionary. Since the various origin retcons from 2014 onwards, the Chthon parts of her origin are broadly still canon, but changes to the specific details have not yet been explained.
