They won't fire him. Either he'll be relegated to some smaller scale title and framed as if this was his own choice, or he'll simply not get anything while they wait for his contract to expire. Either way, King fucking blew it, hard. Was given the proverbial keys to the kingdom and he fucking blew it. There's no chance at redemption at this point.

Believe it or not but it was a power move by DC. Bendis was their highest profile writer and he had been able to push comics fairly well for most of his time there. But when he was signed on by DC his stuff was in decline and he's just not a good fit for Superman. I think Naomi is probably the best thing he's putting out for DC and that's because it's closer to what he's best at.

Bendis once upon a time was a decent writer. I've enjoyed Daredevil, Ultimate Spiderman, and House of M from him. But somewhere along the line he decided that he wanted to stop giving comic fans what they want and just force his OC's into the books. There's also the problem with him bringing his troop of Portland goons along with him and them pretty much taking over everything in the companies he's involved in.

At one point Bendis would have been a good Batman writer. Now I'm afraid that he'll do one arc with actual Batman before killing him off and making Batman an OC POC
