I seriously wish Sony was forced to sell Spider Man and all the other 900 characters back to Marvel...

I seriously wish Sony was forced to sell Spider Man and all the other 900 characters back to Marvel. The rights and deals are utterly confusing, and it pisses me off. Disney has owned Marvel for 10 years now, and the best way to fix this, is to force Disney to set Marvel free and let them go independent again. Seriously, I hate how confusing it is. But I do admit that these things don't seem simple enough, realistically.

>not wanting a Venom-Brightburn crossover

>900 characters
Did they ever listed what's those 900 characters are?

>Confusing
Are you genuinely retarded?

I'm genuinely confused, but not retarded, prick.

Take your hurt feelings and leave, fucko. The deals and who owns who isn't fucking hard to follow. Moreover, what difference would it make if Disney outright bought those rights back exclusively? Their take on Spider-Man is weak at best

The length of the deals are what's confusing. And I dare you to offend me once more, you dickweed.

They have to the film rights to Spidey, his circle of friends like MJ, Harry, Gwen etc. and most of his rogues gallery. But obviously the 900 extends to a lot of no-name characters like Jameson's son (who's the surviving astronaut at the start of Venom) and "Civilian #72" and so on.

They don't own everyone who debuted in a Spidey/Spidey-related comic though, since they don't have Cloak & Dagger and we know from the leaked emails that they were in negotiations with Marvel at one stage to use the Jury for TAS3, who debuted in Lethal Protector. What's strange is that they do own Riot, who also debuted in Lethal Protector.

>the best way to fix this, is to force Disney to set Marvel free and let them go independent again
That's so fucking stupid, you autismo.

they now own every character, other than the ones that are spiderman characters, including spiderman himself.

characters like the hulk and namor have their distribution rights owned by universal, which means that marvel won't make any solo films for them anymore, but they can show up in other characters movies

sony made a deal with marvel to let spider man be in two solo mcu movies, and 3 team up movies. they are going to be forced to negotiate to see where they go with spidey once far from home comes out.

I dare you to call it stupid again, one more time. Because once you do, the faster you get your ass whooped.

If only the force existed, it would be more easier to fix with mind control

Force Universal to revert standalone Hulk and Namor rights back

This. Disney has really fucked Marvel and carved out it's heart and soul. All we need to do is wait for it to start rotting.

>Multimillion dollar companies MUST change the way they do bussiness, because I'm to stupid to understand it.
Kid, if that is hard for you, you'll have hell when you face real life.

And lose the Disney bux and promo machine that funds and fuels the MCU?

I even admitted that it's not realistically simple

Spider-Verse is one of the few animated films from the 2010's worth giving a shit about. Let them keep whatever rights they have.

So Disney can ruin all of them too?

Why even bother with Spider-Man anymore? The MCU version is just so bastardized.

You can't just "force" a company to surrender rights. Are you advocating for Disney to further monopolize the entertainment industry?

Nah its fine if Sony still owns Spiderman as long as they play with Marvel. I'm fine with Sony overrated shit like Venom and doing whatever they want with it, its not like his rogues gallery is small. Also with Sony paying Marvel is more likely to go beyond a trilogy for Spiderman

They will buy the whole world eventually and I've foreseen it

The fuck are you going to do?
